The room was a lovely corner room with all facilities including an electric kettle. I was upgraded with the payment of a small amount. Hotel Sebel is well located and close to a tram stop with restaurants and shops close by. Staff was helpful. Coffee is available free on the ground floor at any time. This is more a guest house than a hotel, but I had a very comfortable stay
There was no lift for the bags and you have to climb 2 to 3 floors of very steep steps. The ladies at the reception helped me with my bag. Would not recommend the steps after a couple of drinks. I do not like their contactless approach. If I stay at a hotel I like a lot if contact with the front desk.

- Hotel was nice, room was absolutely fine, shared kitchen was clean and sufficiently equipped. -The Zeeheldenkwartier is a good area to stay in. Many small stores and restaurants with food from all over the globe. Explore and enjoy. (Note: Den Haag is not the cheepest of towns, though) - Tram & Bus stops were close by - Not too noisy an area by night - other interesting areas of Den Haag were at walking distance, if you like getting to know a place on foot. - Please be aware that there is quite a lot of coffee shops in town ( if that is a positive thing or not, you`ll have to decide for yourselves, but the whiff of it is a daily companion )

We had a great stay here while my partner worked in Delft for the week and I remotely. Very comfortable and clean room, great internet connection, and free coffee during the day! The staff is very friendly and helpful as well! The location is good, too, with many great restaurants in the area and the tram just down the road. My partner went back several times after to stay during additional work commitments. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
If we had to complain about anything at all, which is difficult in this case, then that the coffee is not available at night as well 😉😅

We loved our stay at Hotel Sebel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great big bed to relax on. It was also so charmingly decorated, a welcome difference from all the cookie-cutter hotel chains these days. There was complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The location is also perfect for exploring The Hague on foot; there are many fun shops and bakeries in the area, and it is easy to get to the city centre in around 20 minutes.

Brilliant stay at Hotel Sebel. Loved the location - 10 min tram from Den Haag centre/train station and there’s a lovely square of restaurants/bars right outside the hotel. Great value for money - appreciate the free coffee machine! Didn’t see the staff that much but they communicated with us about check in so we didn’t need anything else! It isn’t somewhere with bells and whistles but was perfect for a city break. Thank you!

We stayed two nights at Hotel Sebel over the course of a couple of days in the Netherlands and always enjoyed the central location to easily walk into Den Hagues center or explore the local neighbourhood where you have many food options and nice smaller shops. Storing our bikes, even when we were joined by another buddy with his bike, was never a problem and the staff took care of everything. Both times we had room 37 which has a rather nice view of the little square in front of the hotel
Shower could be a little bit cleaner

We liked our room under the roof - it was quite clean and spacious with a nice view of the square, there were many windows and lots of light in the morning. There was a mini-kitchen with a tea and coffee machine.
Communicating with the hotel after 7 PM proved challenging. Our electronic room key unexpectedly expired on the second day of our stay (it happens :)), but there was no response despite attempts to reach them via messages and calls. We needed to contact booking support to get to the room (which took some time obviously).

The location is fantastic. It is really close to the centre of the Hague, in a lively, pretty area, with bars, shops and restaurants. The car park, while not cheap, is really convenient for the hotel. The tea/coffee is great, (but you can't access it between 9pm and 7am, annoyingly).
The mattress was terribly soft and springy. It wasn't up to the comfort of a modern hotel, so we weren't as well rested as we would have liked for all the walking we did.

Once I got hold of the plastic key I was alright. The location is very attrctive, fashionable bohemian. There are plenty of street side cafees and restaurants that give the area a tropical feeling on those hot days and nights of my visit . The number 17 tram doesn't stop outside the house, never worked out which is the nearest ,to walk towards Elandstraat/ Vondelstraat or to Zoutmanstraat.
something went wrong with the digital key for the outside front and room door being sent to me - asking me to check in online - but indiciating there is also the option of checking in on arrival - which was 21.40 so I assumed some staff would be available to let me in. I was wrong. On the outside door was an automated message. IAsked a native speaker to listen for me. The phone numbers given there and on the communication were useless. I really started to panic. Another guest let me in through the front door. THe lesson is: ttry to call up the digital door key's symbol on your message. Don't relie on the front desk being staffed if you arrive after 7 or 8 pm.

The location is convenient, and it is easy to go anywhere from the hotel. The room is a bit small for solo travel but clean and comfortable. It has a kitchenette and a fridge to store or heat food. Super friendly stuff! Will stay again!
The Wi-Fi in my room was relatively poor, and I had to stay in the common area to finish my online meeting. I'd suggest you stay in building A, where the router is located.
