The place was great, historical building and nice room design added a lot to the experience. But the host made this stay really perfect. He helped with the luggage, upgraded our room on our second stay, meticulously kept his promises. Thank you so much Frank!

I believe it is a common thing in the Netherlands. Big single windows, high ceilings and spacious rooms make the air chilly and the floor a bit cold (at least in November). Be prepared, maybe take wool socks. The stairs to the apartments might be steep. Once again, common thing for historical buildings in the Netherlands.

Frank and Petra are excellent hosts, so kind. The welcome message included all the necessary transport options, what a relief, thanks! We also had to see a doctor whilst there, and they were most helpful. The house is fabulous, meticulously decorated, everything is explained, everything you need is there.... There are steep stairs, but your bag will be taken up, so no need to worry. The rooms are beautiful, large, with a sitting room and table, separate bedroom, very comfortable bed, and huge windows to see the back yard. You can be warm or cool, up to you. Breakfast is downstairs, everything you could need or wish for, delicious. There are lots of transport options into and around town, very easy. We would stay again gladly.

Nothing could have been better........ although I never did get that tricked up TV/media station to work, and felt too stupid to ask. No worries though, we hardly would have watched it.

The room was amazing — really comfortable, and the overall vibe made it feel extra special. The staff were lovely, so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Breakfast totally exceeded our expectations. What really made the trip even better was the location — it was just a short bus ride to the beach and an easy tram ride to the shopping area. Everything was so easy to get to, which made exploring really fun and stress-free.

Wonderful accommodation in a wonderful area of Hague. Excellent breakfast done with so much care and attention to detail, served in a wonderful garden. Hosts were extremely nice and helpful when we came to them for advice on what to do and where to go in Hague. I would definitely recommend it and come again.

The only, literally only, small downside was that the sound isolation is maybe not the most perfect one, so someone sensitive to sounds might have some issues. That being said, it is an extremely calm and quiet area, so it mostly depends on other guests. I always have ear plugs, so I was perfectly fine. My partner, on the other hand, had some minor issues with sleeping.

The beautiful neighbor hood and convenience to Transportation. Frank our host was exceptional and went way out of his way to accommodate our needs. Breakfast was lovely. He helped with our suitcases and was the perfect host.

The stairway was a bit of an adventure but nothing we couldn’t handle. It may be quite challenging for elderly folks or those with mobility issues.

Small hotel/guesthouse booked online.. We didn't expect it to be such a beautiful house! Our room was grand and festive, extremely comfortable and fun to be in with our son. We were welcomed informally, which was great also.

I'm not a fan of the 'boutique style' makeover - lots of (glossy) (black) plastic and fabric or art prints, but, at the core the comfiness and friendliness made me forget about my preferred more minimal or natural interior style :-)

Must be one the loveliest hotels I have ever been. A beautifully renovated old house! The owners are just amazing: remember to ask them for advice on what to see or do or where to dine - they love to help you. Breakfast was served at their dining room in a peaceful setting, all so nicely prepared. It gave each day a great relaxed start. The area is very calm and so beautiful with gorgeous houses street after street so plan to take to time to walk around the area. Great museums within a walking distance and a quick tram connection to the wonderful beach.

The spaciousness of the apartment; friendliness, helplessness and warmth of the hosts (and they placed an additional bed in the sitting room with no extra cost); great breakfast; great neighbourhood

the towel rack is positioned too high (and I am 5 ft 6)

A special place, very cosy, the hosting family ist very nice. The surroundings are beautiful, nice walk to the beach.

You can hear from the noise from the other rooms, but it was still a lovely stay.

We loved our stay here! Frankie and Petra were excellent with us and our needs, extremely attentive. We received an upgrade, and the room was wonderful. Our baby was super happy and felt comfortable during the stay. We have a trip to The Hague in 2025, and we will definitely choose them again.

There's nothing I can complain about. Really excellent.
