Hotel S. Andrea is a stone’s throw from the ticket office for UNESCO sites and from S. Vitale itself. This was chance or luck for me, and I appreciated it. This is a charming boutique hotel with very friendly staff. I felt cared for.

My single room was in the attic, with an ineffective A/C machine. It was well into the 30s outside, so the nights were very hot and my sleep was not great. I should have asked if they had a fan — this is my oversight. And I imagine other rooms on lower floors were much more comfortable. I would definitely go back but would ask for a room not up under the roof.

Very peaceful on a quiet street. Close to pedestrian area with ver y smart shops and a choice of restaurants. Lovely quiet garden where you could relax with a glass of wine or read a book. Good continental breakfast. Staff very attentive and nothing was too much for them. Bus route 70 made it easy to get to and from railway station. Lovely slightly old fashioned lounge area

I am a solo traveller so had a smaller room in the attic area. Perfectly adequate but the quarter circle shower was a bit on the small side.

I have visited Italy four times over the past 20 years. Sant'Andrea in Ravenna is the most wonderful hotel I have ever stayed at in this charming country. The room was beautiful ,spacious and very quiet! It had a lovely view of the large backyard and gardens. The breakfast was excellent and the coffee was always perfect. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and helpful with directions to the splendid historic sites in Ravenna. It was only at 5 minute walk to San Vitale and Galla Placida. My room's price of $120.00 was exceptionally reasonable. I plan to return in 2026 for an even longer stay!

An astonishingly beautiful, charming, hotel with a lovely garden. Perfect, quiet location. Like a country villa in a vibrant city, within walking distance of all the joys of Ravenna. The staff is terrific. Extremely helpful and personable, especially Mikaela who greeted us, and management gave us a free upgrade!

Directly at the heart of Ravenna. A beautiful, in English (or maybe Italian, can't say for sure)country style furnished hotel. We had the little house in the garden, which was great and relaxing. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast had everything we needed.

Due to the circumstances of the City itself, the carpark is 2 minutes walking distance away. Not bad, but there is no shade for the car, so you can't leave anything heat sensitive in the car.

The location couldn’t have been better. Some of the sites we wanted to visit were right there. The area was pretty and clean. The hotel staff were very helpful; they made dinner reservations and ordered a taxi for us. The breakfast had a good variety, including fresh baked croissants, buns, even fruit tarts. We stayed in the garden annex. It worked out very well for 3 adults with its two bedrooms.

Very friendly and helpful staff 🥰. Great location and stylish interior, we loved the cozy atmosphere. Self check-in after reception hours was easy thanks to clear and proactive communication. Access by car is a bit tricky, but the staff provided helpful guidance. Several paid parking options are available nearby.

The location was great and the property was immaculate. The continental breakfast and service was excellent. The room was clean and so nicely decorated. It felt very cozy and almost like home.

The size of the shower was our only complaint. Very tiny and awkward to get into and out of. Otherwise, everything was super!

It would have been nice to have some fresh bread at breakfast. The shower wasn't very powerful - but this is an older building so we weren't expecting all mod cons.

There were spiderwebs in the ceiling of my room, which was a bit off-putting. Breakast was nice but too many cakes and sweets for my taste. I like to eat proper healthy food for breakfast.
