It was my first ever stay there in Amelia Island and the staff were very friendly when you first walked in and made you feel welcomed. The area around the Residence Inn was absolutely beautiful; you don’t have to drive anywhere, you can basically walk all up and down going to and from the beach, restaurants, and shopping center. I will definitely be staying there again the next time I’m in Amelia Island!

LOVED the super-comfy mattress in the bedroom. The staff are VERY friendly, helpful & prompt. Liked the booklets & MAP of the island to help us navigate & see the sights! Loved how QUIET it was, & how respectful & quiet other guests were. Loved the huge breakfast & assortment of different food - way more than a Continental b’fast! Easy check in & check out. The clothes steamer we requested showed up minutes after we requested it!!

The pull-out bed mattress is AWFUL! Too thin & cheap & can feel the bar through it! Must put better mattresses on it — did not offer a good nights sleep.

staff was super friendly , breakfast was the best buffet I have ever had...love how you made a little coffee station with flavor syrups and whip cream...and someone was always wiping up the counter tops as guests can be sloppy and I would stay here again in a heart beat..also the shuttle driver was friendly and prompt. this is one of my favorite hotels!

not a thing other than not getting my bonvoy points bc the room was booked through a third party (booking.com)

The location, the staff, the AC, the breakfast buffet, the check-in process, the check-out. This place was just great all around and the people working there could not have been anymore pleasant.

The pool was way too hot for cooling down. It is not the fault of the hotel bc it was prime summre season, but cooling down was far easier in the room with the AC after a long hike in the state park next door.

Friendly people, had a clean and comfortable feel, the complementary items were nice, fun folded towels

Couldn’t keep up with wear and tear: shower at pool was leaking water running throughout pool deck, difficulty keeping clean towels, getting dirty ones up; breakfast: a lot of things running out and gone again before you got them or never refilled, most of the juice options are out. Drinking water was not good.

The rooms were spacious fully equipped and has a kitchen with full size refrigerator microwave dishwasher and small stove top. My husband likes big patio with tables with umbrellas and grills, pool, hot tubs, outdoor games cornhole, putting green connect four. There is also a puzzle and computers near the dining area. The breakfast staff are adorable and very friendly. We love to chat with them every morning. Breakfast is always very good. I’m a fan of the oatmeal and grit’s already prepared for you and not in those little instant packs. I also like all the toppings available.

Not really. Maybe a sign at the road indicating which drive to enter for check in but 10 out of 10 on every aspect. Service and hospitality is a 12/10 for me. Maybe a little bonus for each department when they are specifically mentioned in a review:). Just a little something something to let them know they are appreciated!

The staff person at the front desk for check in was wonderful and very helpful. Walking distance to the beach. There is a greenway at the back of the property that is great for walking a dog. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast but the staff was really helpful.

Parking was sparse but it could have been due to the holiday.

Location, also that a shuttle to take you to the sites on Amelia island was awesome

The room I had was good, but the view was looking at the side of a building. The AC unit was loud and then there was another unit on the floor with a hose running outside that block you from closing the curtain.

Beds were nice. Suite was good size Good water pressure Breakfast good. .breakfast staff excellent. Greenway Nature trails directly behind hotel 10 min walk to ocean.

Furniture. Worn out. No cushions on couch. Pool was FREEZING. Lots of trash floating.

We liked the spacious of the rooms. The setup and design was well thought out and planned with the ability to close off the bedroom area for sleeping if you had a family member staying up to watch TV. We also had 2 TVs in our suites Sound proof rooms is true. We did not hear anything from the rooms next door—-I thought that it was contrived but I was surprised by how much noise we hear in other hotels that we don’t hear in this one. It doesn’t block 100% as I sometimes heard some hallway noise but I didn’t hear anything coming from the rooms beside us.
