Pat was an excellent host. The room was spacious and warm. You have to share a bathroom, but as I was the only guest, that was not a problem for me. Pat let me use as many radiators as I needed to dry off my very wet clothing. Lovely breakfast room with great views and a lovely breakfast to go with it. Pat also has good knowledge of the local area and helped me find the right road to start my walk on.

This is a proper, traditional English B&B. Feels like you are a guest in someone's home. Pat was an excellent host, the rooms were homely and comfortable, and the breakfast was superb.

It's a bit out of the way and unfortunately the weather was lousy for our visit (storms and heavy rain!) so we couldn't take in the surroundings, but it's in the scenic Tamar valley near the Dartmoor National Park and would have been very picturesque if we could see it!

Superb breakfast with extra orange juice, extra fresh coffee, lots of toast and butter and the cooked breakfast was as good as a five star hotel. Really friendly and helpful hostess who also helped us find a good place to eat for an evening meal. Very kind and helpful in every way. Would definitely stay there again.

I cant think of anything and for the money it was fantastic value. For the money anyone would be very hard pressed to find any fault. It was scrupulously clean and well decorated - beautiful outside seating in a paved garden with active fish pond. Just lovely.

A very kind welcome and a last minute room change accommodated professionally (my mistake for having booked the wrong type of room). An excellent cooked breakfast, and a very comfortable sleep. Ideal location for the Tamara Coast to Coast Way! Thank you very much.

Our host was very helpful and our breakfast was good. The room was big enough and although on the main road was not noisy.

We had been walking and found it hard to find enough places to dry our clothes. This is because all room are now ensuite and so once bigger room have all been reduced in size.

Breakfast was absolutely lovely. Lots of choice of cereal with lovely fresh fruit. Fantastic cooked breakfast & loads of toast. Nothing too much trouble.

A full English every morning (including toast) with the option of cereal, tea and coffee with fruit juice and condiments of your choice. It was an excellent fayre

Pat was very helpful with communications and taxi companies. The room was spacious and a perfect location. A nice telly and amenities in the room, and hot shower in the morning. Great directions and lovely to have parking!

The only little thing is I could have done with an extra blanket as it was a very cold evening.
