The hotel is located in a beautiful natural park area, and has its own excellent well-groomed park. The views and air are extraordinary. There are different pools in the park, sun beds are located on the grassy lawns. This and the thermal baths are the most attractive in the hotel. Our room was in an annex building, the amenities were as advertised, it was cozy. But the rooms were small, which did not match the photos on the website. For lovers of hiking and cycling, the conditions are excellent.

The nature and the thermal baths excuse the shortcomings, but... The quality of the food in the restaurant did not match the level of the hotel. The choice of food at breakfast was poor. After 9 o'clock in the morning you may not receive any of the products - they are not reported as needed. Showcases where breakfast is served look very sloppy. As for dinners, it is better to take the menu of the day. It will be food prepared on the same day with fresh ingredients, and some of these dishes were quite tasty.

room was great, concierge, cleaning staff and masseuse were wonderful. Breakfast was abundant. Facilities were very numerous with many options and fantastic grounds to wander in. Loved the forest walks all around.

Breakfst and choices were limited. For example only one type of cheese, in Italy; only scrambled and or hard boiled eggs and no possibility to order differently. Brioche was mediocre; for the price a bit of a disappointment but no shortage of sweets and pastries. Front desk staff, with the exception of one lovely person were curt, on the border of rude and not very interested in listening or entertaining any requests.

We had an apartment in the adjacent building on the -1 floor but was really cosy and full of wood design. elevator and private parking space in the nearby garage (20m walk) was great. Staff was really nice but not all speak the English language. Mostly Italian. Spa facilities ware great, and much more that the pictures shows. several indoor and outdoor pools and sauna's (All NO fully nude so bring a bathing suite).

Pay attention on booking.com about what you book, Breakfast and Spa facilities are sometimes not included. Breakfast prices pp are €26,- but you have a great choice of food, sweets and fruit. (not standard continental breakfast). Staff are not always speak English what is sometimes troubling for international guests.

Loved the area the concept all in all perfection... the hotel breakfast and dinners are superb..

The only thing not really related to the hotel was the fact we tried to walk to bagni vecchi through the woods.. there was a land slide hence we had to reroute and when we finally arrived to the roman baths we could not go in as they part of the bagni vecchi hotel and there was no notice anywhere re this.

This place has exceeded our expectations tenfold, truly a 5-star experience. From the check-in process, helpful staff, beautiful surroundings and interiors. The entry to spa (incl on the day of checkout - while it's still closed for outside visitors) was our highlight, as well as the breakfast in the gorgeous ballroom and aperitivo - free drinks and buffet at 5pm.

Our room was in the other building, the front desk staff didn't mention it and we had to figure that out by ourselves. Didn't mention the parking garage as well, also not very helpful.

I like to have terms just in the hotel, big variety and good location.

we didn’t like that during our staying for a week, aperitif every day was exactly the same, same snacks same chips…as a 5 star hotel would be fine to make it a bit different every day…it’s so many types of pizza in Italy, come on. Also breakfast - it is big variety of food, but SAME every day: same cheese and same cold cuts :/ no changes. In our room also it was all the time smell of the grey (toilet water), maybe in general, maybe you can smell it from other rooms - but really not nice :/ The last thing - if you confirm cancellation of the massage service, since we called to warn that we are not coming, Whould be good to tell us that we PAY anyway!!! For the massage that we didn’t even have

our stay was amazing and impeccable. every single detail was perfect, from the room furniture to the breakfast. The staff is availble 24/7, but never intrusive. It was a perfect weekend

the only negative note is the crowd in the thermal area after 11.00 am. In my opinion, to make the thermal SPA more exclusive (it is still a 5 start hotel and resort), the number of not-hotel-guests allowed should be reduced.

The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning, it's worth not been right in the centre of Bormio (which is only a couple of minutes drive away) because the views are just incredible. The little touches like the free coffee pods, toiletries, the way the baby's cot was made and the skylight in our apartment made it very special.
