Beautiful inn with kind, helpful staff. A delicious breakfast is served each morning in a lovely, sun filled room (or on the porch that overlooks the park when warm out). They had a nice fire in the fireplace going while we ate since it was a chillier week. There is a cocktail hour at 5 and dessert put out at 7:30. These added perks were great and we got to meet some of the other guests during these times. The cocktail hour in particular was popular. Parking is never an issue. We stayed for 6 nights and almost always found a spot either directly in front of the Inn or very close by.
No complaints!

The Inn was great. You can't beat the location it is right across from the fountain. Such a great view of the park from the porch. The free bus stops right outside of the Inn. Very quiet area for being right next to the park. Breakfast was wonderful the whole visit. The staff were very pleasant and gave great suggestions for places to eat and see. Parking was free on the street and never had an issue finding a spot. Our room has a ton of space and had a very comfy bed. Would definitely stay here again.
Nothing they really could fix but the floors were very creaky but it is an very old house.

Beautiful historical mansion across from Forsyth Park in a quieter area of town but still within 15 minutes walk to most of Savannah’s attractions. The best thing about this place is the FOOD! The breakfasts are compromised of generously plated typical Southern food served at the Victorian porch overlooking the park! Wow - what a treat! They also serve appetizers late afternoon and nightly desserts, so don’t fill up on your dinner elsewhere. The kitchen staff accommodated my daughter’s special gluten free diet since she has celiac disease and were even careful about cross-contamination - you don’t get that everywhere and my daughter felt so spoiled. We go to Savannah often and this has become our favorite lodging in town.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like - it was a perfect stay

The only thing was a motion sensor light next door kept turning on and shining in my sons eyes

Loved the location right across from Forsyth Park. We spent some time in the early evening sitting on the rocking chairs on the veranda, enjoyed the free wine and snacks after our day out and before going back out for a late dinner. It is a bit of a walk down to the riverfront but during the day was a nice walk through squares, plus there is the free DOT bus that stops right in front of the Inn to get back. Breakfast was wonderful, staff was super friendly, parking was easy, and we felt at home at the Inn. Would definitely stay there again!
Nothing negative to say. Only thing is if you want to be closer to the river, it's a bit of a trek, but it's an enjoyable walk. There is also the DOT bus system and if you have a car, parking is easy near the Inn, and we did drive down and park in a garage once closer to the water, which was easy enough.

Beautiful home and amazing concierge. The location was beautiful. Parking was easy despite no dedicated parking, catching the bus downtown was a breeze and walking back wasn't too bad. The area is beautiful and quiet. The food was good and the snacks were convenient. We loved our visit to the Inn.
Due to our room being located right off the foyer you could hear the staff getting the breakfast room ready at 730. Also it was very cold the weekend we went and the water never truly became hot. They tried to address it and hopefully it was rectified but water was lukewarm at best during showers.

The house was beautiful, it’s history was so well preserved. The location was absolutely perfect. Close the the center of Forsyth park it was walking distance to everything. I have some limitations when it comes to walking and being so close to the parks, we were able to go almost to the river because waking down the park and through the squares, there were plenty of benches to stop at. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful
There was not a single thing unlikeable! The only regret was that our stay was a rather short one and we would have loved more time here

Beautiful old home on Forsyth Park. Perfect location. Spacious room with electric fireplace, hot tub great bed and quiet. Breakfast was very good. Happy hour was a pleasant surprise. The staff was able to get to work even though the streets were covered with ice and snow. Met some very nice travelers from other states.
Street parking could have been a problem. Coffee service was slow at times.

We loved this inn, in a beautiful old Victorian on the edge of Forsyth park. The park itself is one of the most wonderful city parks we have seen-- it is worth the extra money to have such a great amenity literally right across the street. In addition, the location right on the DOT shuttle line made it so easy to get around Savannah - we only rented a car for one day to go out to Tybee Island. The porch -- just fabulous, for breakfast or chatting with guests at the happy hour. The room we had was a little small, but fine -- very comfortable bed. OH, and the breakfasts were delicious - we got to enjoy them for four days - every day was special.
For the price, I thought the room was a little small, and the bathroom could be updated. There was not much room to put clothes away, like a dresser, and the closet was tiny.

We absolutely loved our stay at Forsyth Park Inn. A beautiful historic inn, overlooking Forsyth Park. Our room was huge, the bed super comfortable, and the staff were incredible and were so helpful, with a great knowledge of Savannah and many spot on recommendations. My highlight was having our delicious breakfast on the patio every morning, as well as the complimentary wine & hors d'oeuvre each afternoon. It was so peaceful and relaxing overlooking the park. Such great hospitality, we can't wait to visit again one day!
Nothing, our stay was amazing!
