This is my third time in SmArt Hotel Bartolini, and I will be back for sure. I love to go back to the wonderfull Montecatini Terme and each time I visit this lovely place I stay in this hotel. I can only repeat myself but I keep repeating it with pleasure. This is the third time in the same room, which is allways clean and tidy. My window opens to Via Felice Cavallotti where a lot of nice hotels are located. Yes it is a little bit loud but the window is soundproof, so you can close the noise out. On the other hand you can sit in front of the hotel in the chairs, talk to other guests of the hotel or anyone on the street. It is Italy after all. :) Piazza del Popolo - the main square - is like 5 minutes away. Tons of cheaper and more exclusive restaurants are in walking distance. Carlo will help you to pick the best for your needs. Train station, grocery store, pharmacy, etc whatever you need is there. Perfect place to visit Firenze, Bologna, Lucca, Pisa, Siena mentioning only the larger towns. If you like hiking and biking, there are a lot of trails you can find in this area. Absolutely recommended!

The property is well located and spotlessly clean. The staff Carlo, Irena and Barbara are a great team who go above and beyond to be helpful. Barbara’s breakfasts are a delight, varied and fresh and delivered with friendly chat, humour and advice on where to visit. Carlo and Irena made great restaurant recommendations, drew maps and made reservations for us. They told us what to look out for, points of interest and experiences. certainly a trip up to Montecatini Alto on the funicular was not to be missed!

There was nothing to dislike, but an outside space to sit would be good.

We liked the hotel itself: renovated, updated, modern, clean, cheerful, nicely appointed, in a great location, high ceilings, opening windows, great shower with a pleasant ambiance, enough place for the suitcases, wood floors, no heavy curtains, high quality of air and well functioning everything in our room and bathroom. We loved the friendly, patient, professional owner and staff of the hotel: Irina and Barbara were super helpful, did everything with pleasure and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel was always sparkling clean because there is a wonderful cleaning lady, who understands your needs even without asking. We had an awesome stay and hope to repeat it in future!

nothing in particular….I would prefer a slightly softer mattress personally….but every person is different, of course.

This is my second time in this Hotel, and hopefully it is not the last one. I love the City and love the people in Italy, and Carlo the manager is always friendly and helpful and always would like to help you to get everything you need. The hotel is clean and tidy I can say spotless. The breakfast is really good, and you can choose from a wide variety of stuff from yogurts to bacon. I like that the Hotel is walking distance from the center of the town Piazza del Popolo. It is located more like in a living area so not that crowded and after midnight you can sleep like a baby. :)

I am an early bird and usually I wake up pretty early in the morning which makes me falling to sleep around 10pm and I am usually sleeping with the windows open. Not here, because it is Italy where people are on the streets till midnight or even later and talking to each other. So either I close my window and get some sleep or I still awake till its get quiet. I think the second is the better choice. Go out and talk these guys, they are nice and friendly. I wish I could speek Italian... :)

The place was great, very clean and so friendly, starting with Carlo, always happy to help us and the same with Irina, also Barbara for breakfast (hopefully I remember right). The room was nice and spacious, comfy bed, large bathroom and plenty of products, water temperature was great all time. Breakfast choices were different and always served with a smile . Location is a nice area and very central, you can park the just 4/5 minutes walking from there.

Location was excellent, close to town centre, good restaurants etc and a short walk to the stations, spa and the funicular to Montecatini Alto. Carlo and his team were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a varied buffet and a choice of cooked breakfast prepared and served with great cheerfulness by Barbara. The room was always spotlessly clean and cool. The room was spacious with a superking sized bed and a palatial bathroom. There wasn't a restaurant or bar but water was always available and there was an honesty bar if you wanted a drink. Coffee was also available in the breakfast area and there was a kettle and fridge in the room. You could sit outside the hotel with tables and chairs on the street. Carlo and Irina recommended some excellent restaurants. Montecatini Terme made a great base for visiting other towns in Tuscany. We really enjoyed our stay in the SmArt hotel Bartolini and would definitely recommend anyone to stay there.

This was a three star hotel that more than met our expectations. The description was accurate. If we had wanted a balcony or a swimming pool we would have selected a different hotel.

A lovely hotel in the centre of Montecatini. Large, spacious and clean rooms and bathroom. There were interesting LED lights above the shower. Abundant and tasty breakfast prepared by the lovely lady in the kitchen. The hotel is near the Montecatini station, about an eight minute walk. The receptionist was really nice to us and always made sure we were comfortable and all of our needs were met! The was also a sink in the restaurant from which you can fill your water bottles with mineral water any time you want! I highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were excellent Breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the delightful lady that prepared everything fresh including coffee- although there were 6 individual breakfast menus you could mix and match whatever you liked - best poached eggs ever!!!

Montecatini itself seems to have been hit hard by covid and many of the beautiful buildings need restoration work. I hope that this happens as it’s a lovely place with lovely people.

The breakfast (several options) was great, I loved especially Tuscan beans. The room was spacious. As we had bicycles with us, there was dedicated space for them including a pump and some tools. Last but not least, the personel was great, very helpful pointing out interesting places to see, helping with bike rental etc. Also, we were in MT in May, an absolutely georgeous part of the year. In July, August, it may be too hot.

The hotel is ideally situated for the centre of town and the railway station. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was large, good air conditioning, very well cleaned each day. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. We have stayed before and would stay again.
