There was so much I loved. The room was larger than I expected and quite comfortable. It was very clean and well-stocked with water and a coffee/tea setting. The breakfast was top-notch! You have quite a selection from both the continental spread and the table service. It was a great start to the day! I also visited both the dining room and the pub, both with kind and helpful employees. The views from the outside were lovely and I found myself spending a couple of hours out there with a glass of wine and my book. I would highly recommend this place!

I have no real complaints. I wish there was air conditioning, but I also understand this is England and that is a rare feature. The Swan Hotel very helpfully provided a fan that I left on all day and it did a great job cooling down the room. This is only an issue for travelers for a couple weeks of the year, so it definitely isn't a deal breaker. Also, all the rooms are upstairs, and there is no elevator. It wasn't an issue for me, but it may be a problem for travelers with mobility issues.

Friendly greeting when we arrived. Smallish but very comfortable and clean room withlovely tea and coffee making facilities and spacious shower room. We dined in that evening and had a lovely meal followed by delicious breakfast the following morning. Throughout we received first class service with a smile. Recommend this as a place to stay. Easy parking too, right outside.

In the shower room there was a shabby shampoo/soap rack within the shower cubicle which desperately needs replacing as does the extractor fan facial which looked damaged. Other than that it was perfect.

The hotel is beautifully kept, the rooms are really nicely styled and the staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was great. Our room was excellent - loved having a sofa to sit on and great shower. We look forward to staying again soon as it is a great location for getting into London or for visiting our daughter who is at university nearby.

The only (very minor) issue I had was that the floor slopes gently and as a result so does the mattress! To be expected in a building of this age and character - the slight feeling of sliding to the edge was soon remedied by a strategically placed pillow ...

Restaurant and bar. We slept very well. TV with remote, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, artisan teas, and coffees with chocolates included. Free WiFi. Knocks spots off the local premiere inns. Personal service. We shall be staying again in the near future.

Parking can be a problem, as its residents parking, and only a few spaces available with the pub which you need to pay a small amount for. We were lucky and managed to park up. It isn't the pubs fault. Just the layout of the area. Their is a car park a short walk away over Staines Bridge to the left. The coffee I had for breakfast was very bitter, and I couldn't drink it, but that's a minor. The continental breakfast and cooked breakfast offered were both tasty and enjoyable.

Recently had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at The Swan Hotel, and I must say, it was an experience to remember. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the elegant ambiance and the warm welcome from the staff especially from Paul the manager made us feel very welcome. The room offered breathtaking views of the River Thames. Breakfast at the hotel was a treat, from fresh fruits to made-to-order omelets, all beautifully presented. Highly recommend the Swan hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to the city!

The Swan is in a lovely location beside the River Thames with a little walking path just below - about a 20’ish’ minute walk to Runnymede where the Magna Carta began its life! Our room was sweet with a little balcony overlooking the River. The pub/restaurant downstairs carries quite a nice selection of alcoholic beverages, cider and ale with snacks to enjoy as well as a nice dinner menu. There are tables inside with views of the River as well as spots to sit and watch the boats, ducks and swans glide by. We were warmly welcomed, check in was stress free and all of the staff lovely. It’s also a short walk from the train station and very close to Heathrow Terminal 5. We’d recommend The Swan to anyone visiting the area.

Staff at the Swan are attentive and kind, doing their best to be helpful. The location was great for us as a last stop on our trip before flying from Heathrow, as it allowed us to avoid hectic inside-London logistics. We had time for a last stroll along the Thames before heading to the airport-very calming.

Staff did a great job of booking our taxi for the following morning; the only downside was that the driver was ten minutes late and not terribly friendly. The Swan folks can't change that--it's just the luck of the draw regarding drivers.

The Swan Hotel is magnificent. The rooms are cozy, well-decorated, and clean. Every day we had cookies, coffee, pods, and tea. The rooms overlooking the river are wonderful. Great breakfast, both continental and English. We dined at the restaurant and stayed the pub – everything was excellent: the food, the beer, the service and the atmosphere. The staff was very kind, professional, and helpful.

Lovely location by the Thames - within easy walking distance to shops but tranquil for walks by the river. Staff were fantastic- very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Decor was tasteful and quirky.

Our bed and room was a bit small but fine for a couple of nights and having a balcony made up for it.

We missed our flight connection at Heathrow and quite by luck found The Swan. Omg what a find. It was sooo beautiful in this 17th century inn on the river and literally a 20 min bus ride to Heathrow. Their Fish and Chips in the restaurant is world class and the selection of beers was outstanding. Amazing room overlong the Thames. You cannot beat this place

That the airport taxis tried to charge us 40£ for a 10 min ride. We took the bus for £2 and it dropped us a 2 min walk away.
