The lodge is beautiful inside and out! very close to Heathrow airport however we did not hear any planes! The Breakfast was yummy eggs benedict and a full English both cooked beautifully cooked, well presented and served in our room on time!. Our room overlooked the lovely manicured garden and Victorian greenhouse. The property is well decorated throughout very clean with lots of indoor plants. Our bedroom was super clean and comfortable with lovely crisp linen and supper soft towels and a range of toiletries and tooth brushes in the ensuite with a power shower. There was a selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate and biscuits with China cups and saucers, wine glasses, tumblers, plates and cutlery in the cupboard. There was chocolates on the bedside tables what a nice touch. Thank you Paul It was lovely to chat with you and stay with you at The Lodge! home from home!

Nothing! Everything was excellent much better than the boring hotels around the airport. This is our go to place now when flying from Heathrow.

Just do it! The Lodge Stanwell is a gem. There is a beautiful garden that our room overlooked for a lovely view. We instantly felt at home, the room has a little table and chairs by the window with the garden view and it’s very serene. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous. Paul is a fantastic host and he even drove us to the airport to catch an early morning flight (for a very reasonable fee). Upon our request and much to our delight, we got to meet Alfie, Paul’s sweet parrot, too. The Lodge is also walking distance to a few spots to eat and we enjoyed our walk and meal very much. Paul’s packed lunches were perfect for our trip the next day, too. It’s a very sweet spot that’s only a 5 minute drive from Heathrow’s Terminal 5 and not much more to Terminal 4. Yet, you feel like you’re in a different world than the airport and chain hotels which is so refreshing. So pleased we stayed here!

WOW ! What a a fantastic stay . We came all the way from Liverpool to stay here as we were attending Thorpe park for our daughter 13th birthday . Paul was so lovely . Made us feel right at home and nothing was too much trouble for him . Perfect home from home stay for us . Beds were comfortable . Breakfast was amazing . Very clean and tidy . Ideal for us to attend Thorpe park but for us to not have been right on top of it . Very quiet location we slept like babies for 2 nights . Thanks so much Paul . Will definitely see you again soon . Friendly welcome. Convenient location for Heathrow Terminal 5 - top tip, get the 442 bus - £2 each way (2023) and stops virtually outside Comfortable bed Quiet area Small but cosy room with everything I needed (except an iron)

Not a fault of the hotel, but the area is a little tired looking. No iron or ironing board in room Water pressure in shower was ok, but not what I have got used to at home

The host is really friendly and the room was cosy, comfortable and clean. The location was ideal for an overnight stay for a Terminal 5 flight. A 1 minute walk led us to a bus stop with a direct ride (11 minutes) to Terminal 5. We also parked our car at Stanwell Lodge for 6 days, at a much cheaper price than at the airport. We took the opportunity to drive to Windsor (20 mins) and had a meal within views of Windsor Castle. All in all, very convenient. We will definitely come again if we need to fly from Heathrow!

Used The Lodge for overnight stay after evening arrival at Heathrow T5. It was a great choice . Paul was really helpful organising personal shuttle pick up. Next day the local bus stop was just outside , making easy journey back to T5 for onward journey . Really liked all the personal touches to make my stay a home from home . Room was spacious , comfortable and everything very clean . Paul made everything feel very welcoming . It had everything needed for an overnight stay . They will serve you a cooked breakfast in your room if you want one . Lots of thought has gone into making this not your average anonymous hotel room . Loved the plants in my room - someone has very green fingers ! The Lodge is full of character and set in a lovely cottage garden .

Loved everything, Paul was an awesome host, nothing was ever any trouble, bed was so comfortable as well as a selection of different pillows 👌🏻breakfasts were delicious & very generous in size. You wouldn’t know you were so close to the airport it was so quiet. Had the pleasure of meeting Alfie the parrot & Monty the cat as well. Paul also drove us to the airport for a small fee of £25, very definitely well worth it as the bus only takes you to terminal 5 & then you need to catch public transport to the other terminals. What a stunning little place! We had been looking for somewhere close to Heathrow for an early morning pick up. There are plenty of hotel rooms in the big soulless corporates right outside the airport but despite rooms being of a comparable price to the Lodge they then charged £15 for parking. I liked the look of the Lodge and even though it was slightly further away from the airport we plumped for it. We were not disappointed. The house is actually set sideways to the road so you do need to look out for the signs. Paul welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room. It was small, but very, very pleasant with everything you could want. There was even a safe and a microwave in the large cupboard. Tea, coffee, sachets of cappuccino and chocolate were provided with a bottle of water, biscuits and popcorn were also there. The bathroom was well appointed and toiletries were provided. Paul chatted and told us where there was a pub, shop, fish and chip shop and a Chinese close by. (Literally a five min walk) Apparently the Chinese delivers to the house. The bed was super comfy and our stay was great. The trip to terminal 3 took approx 12 minutes.

The only thing we had a very slight issue with was the television. We didn't manage to get it working on live TV. I do know that had we been bothered Paul would have sorted us out, but as we were going out we didn't bother !

The location was perfect and easily accessible walking distance to the village with supermarkets, takeaways and pub. The host Paul was friendly and informative. The location to Heathrow was perfect and only a 10 minute bus trip on the local bus route 442 to Terminal 5 and free train transfer to other terminals. Bed super comfy!!

The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner but that was just me being picky and I rinsed the shower before use so no ongoing issues. Bit noisy with other residents at times but I was earlyish to bed and it didn't stop me from sleeping.
