The breakfast is super. The rooms are clean and very functional. We've stayed here many times before plane flights. A really nice hotel.

No convenient way to get to the hotel from the airport. We usually take the Elizabeth Line to Heathrow and then catch a taxi to the hotel, which isn't far but it costs quite a bit in cab fare for the distance you travel. Coming back, it's easier to catch the bus but the bus still costs something like 10 pounds per rider for a pretty short ride distance-wise. Adding the transport to/from costs to the hotel rate ends up costing a fair amount.

It is a bit tricky to access on foot from some bus stops coming from Heathrow Bus Station (not the Hotel Hoppa), as you have to walk down Newport Road and navigate a few crossings to get there. This is not an issue if arriving by Hotel Hoppa or taxi, however.

Good size room and bed. Free baby crib provided. Good bathroom and shower. Refrigerator in room.

Restaurant added 12.5% service charge which I didn't notice until after I paid. Asked hotel to order a taxi, and they brought nice mercedes van which cost £33! Regular taxi from the airport only cost £16 so was expecting the same to return to airport.

I paid extra for half board which was a waste of time. The dinner menu has a small selection of things from the main menu ad the price is the same as if you don't pay for the package. We ended up eating from the main menu which brought chaos to their system so we had to wait 15 minutes for them to sort it out. Don't book the Hoppa bus to get to the airport a sit is more expensive and takes much longer than an Uber. No one there to help us with our luggage but it was an easy enough journey to our room. Breakfast was pretty good but the Bacon was like shoe leather.

Nothing all as hoped

This hotel is perfect for a lay over. It is clean, bright, and has nice options for food.

It was very difficult to get to the car rental agency (Enterprise). There was no way for the hotel to help me get there except they suggested I walk! I was a little shocked at the person at the front desk that was SO blunt. I had luggage I needed to drag along with me. Why doesn't the Holiday Inn have a shuttle to take their guests to the Heathrow terminals and any of the car rental agencies that are nearby?

the room was exceptionally spacious and clean. Also the sofa bed was located against the wall, making it the perfect sleeping space of our kids as we didn't need to use a bed rail or worry about the kids rolling off the bed. Loved it

i was shocked to learn it cost £55 in a taxi to get to the airport, which is a stones throw away from the hotel and a short drive. they have a shuttle service available but that is not always suitable for a family of 4 with 4 large suitcases, 3 small suitcases and a buggy, along with 2 tired kids early in the morning. Plus the shuttle takes 40 mins to reach terminal 5 due to all the stops. taxi takes 5 mins. This is of course not the hotels fault, but worth knowing to factor into your cost.

We travel a lot, and there are now two places that truly stand out in our memories — both because of the staff. If you’re lucky enough to have Alka on shift during your breakfast, your stay will be unforgettable. She is such a kind, caring human being, and I have never in my life had such a positive start to the day created by a complete stranger. She is an absolute golden gem — never let her go. Aside from this, check-in was smooth, the hotel was fairly easy to reach from Terminal 3 by public transport, and breakfast was fantastic. The hotel overall felt clean, the staff were friendly, and the beds were comfortable.

One thing prevented me from giving a perfect 10/10. We booked an accessible room, and upon entering, there was a subtle smell of cigarette smoke. I tried to ignore it, but it lingered throughout the night. My husband, a former smoker, also noticed it. We didn’t inform the staff, as it was only for one night and we didn’t want to make a fuss. It may have been residue from a previous guest, or perhaps something the cleaning staff didn’t pick up on. Still, this was the only negative aspect of our stay.

This was a great hotel near the airport. We had a room with a runway view, which was fun as it was just across the road and a carpark from planes taking off. There was little noise from the planes through the windows. The room was spacious with well-designed furniture. There was a couch/sofa sleeper, small table, desk and chair, fridge, kettle and a Nespresso coffee-maker. There were lots of powerpoints and USB/phone ports by the bed. The curtains blocked the light well. The showere was large with a rainhead and hand-held nozzle. We caught a shuttle from outside the hotel to the terminal. It was run by another company but did the job.

When we arrived in our rental car we could only stop for 15 mins for free to unload, check in and take luggage to our room, otherwise it was GBP5 for up to 2 hours parking. The pizza we had for dinner at one of the restaurants was very average - a bit on the soggy side.

POSITIVE POINTS: ROOM is nicely decorated and comfortable. It's clean and good size for two persons. Bathroom is big enough, however the step to the shower is too high and can lead to fall or misteps. All STAFF is amazingly helpful and courteous. Very nice exchange with them. SONIA at the desk has been very helpful and professional (check-in on July 10th) ALISTON has great experience serving people, good people skills and very helpful + excellent service. Breakfast offers a very good variety of food. NEGATIVE POINTS: The elevator area in LOBBY is too DARK. Hardly any lights at all and CANNOT see well.
