Lovely character building with great features. Nice village location with couple of pubs selling good value food. Cooked breakfast was excellent with great quality ingredients. Sarah was lovely host and any slight issues were resolved immediately. Stayed 3 nights (1 then 2 following week). First room in main building was lovely and spacious but plenty of character. Next 2 night in a modern room was wonderful. Great quality bathroom essentials provided and tea/coffee facilities in room. Good hot water shower when needed and beds very comfortable and quiet.

Only thing would have been wider breakfast cereals option but that is a personal preference and was offered porridge if preferred. Otherwise nothing to dislike.

Lovely and clean. Just was really helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Good choice of cereals. Very welcoming. The house is full of character. Will definitely be back The five bells pub in village served nice food with a great choice.

Couple of little things. No coffee or teaspoon in the room It wasn’t easy to find but a friendly local helped us find it.

The property was very quaint and the town was adorable with two pubs nearby. Breakfast was also delicious! Easily accessible by bus from Heathrow, we stayed the night to reset our circadian rhythms after flying in from Vancouver. Highly recommend this stay to anyone.

Lovely old characterful house. Interesting and historical. Our room was spacious and I liked that there were lots of original features . Bathroom Was modern and clean. Great location with a couple of pubs very nearby. Also parking available. Would stay again

The location was excellent. The room was spacious. The breakfast was great. Safe parking. Access to Heathrow Airport was very easy on the local bus.

There was a great choice of drinks in the room but no kettle, we did however have our own so it wasn't a problem.

Located in a quiet area, close to the bus and local pubs. Loved the old character of the place. Sarah was attentive to any of our needs. Delicious breakfasts with freshly ground/brewed coffee. Comfortable beds.

Breakfast was enough and unhurried. It felt like home, like staying with friends. Just so relaxed, and with two thriving village locals evening meals and even Sunday lunch were easily catered for

Leaving

A great little hotel especially for access to Heathrow airport as well as free parking. It was really clean & easy to check in/check out.

The only downside was that there was no light near the mirror in the family suite.

Great location for the airport. Reasonably priced, good value. Room was clean and functional.

Could have had a slightly bigger surface, had to boil the kettle on the floor. My only very small grumble.

Lots of character in the communal areas. Room was large and spacious, with modern bathroom, and character features. Everywhere was clean, staff friendly, and breakfast was delicious.
