Classic, comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice. Room was lovely and comfortable. We liked the bed (on the soft side if that's of interest). Everything impeccably clean. Royal Albert Hall, V&A and other museums nearby. Bus and underground are close. We would stay here again certainly!

Nothing really to complain about. A few more hooks or rails for towels would be useful, but that is minor. Note (nothing to do with the hotel, obviously) that the nearest subway stations have no elevators or ramps. So if you leave with more and heavier luggage as we did 😉 you might want to consider taking a taxi or Uber to one of the stations listed as handicapped access.

Location was excellent, great sized room recently renovated so spotless clean and modern technology for operating lights, AC etc. charging points beside each of the three beds. Bar in hotel very expensive. They are still renovating and this hotel but other than a note under the door to say water would be off fir a couple of hours one day and the lift stopping on a wrong floor where we could see extensive renovations being done we never noticed or headd anything. Staff were very friendly particularly the porters at the front door who were ready to assist with luggage, umbrellas and directions. Will definitely stay here again .

Price in the bar very expensive

The hotel is at the Queen's Gate which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the South Kensington tube station on the Piccadilly and the District and Circle lines. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets around the station therefore we didn't have to worry about food. The hotel is also surrounded by museums and the Imperial colleague is right opposite to the hotel. Walking to the National History Museum is just 10 minutes. The area is generally safe and quiet. We were booked into their triple room where there are 3 single beds which is super rare for hotels in London. The room is extremely spacious and we still have a lot of rooms to move around even with 3 big suite cases lying on the floor.

The bathroom is definitely not set-up for 3 people as it is small and with no efficient towel hangers and racks to put stuff in the bathroom. The design of the shower glass door is also a failure as the bathroom floor would be entirely wet as it pushed outside the shower to open hence the bathroom floor mat couldn't be placed properly as it obstruct the shower door to open. Our group of 3 girls stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and our toiletries such as shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner were never replenished.

The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful areas of London with safe and elegant surrounding. The room was big and very bright, with a modern style and new appliances. It looks like just freshly renovated. The beds were very comfortable and the isolation with respect to the other rooms was very good. Water was provided every day. The bar was also cosy. The personnel was very kind and helpful, a particular mention to Joshua. Around the area there are some of the most important museum and beautiful hide park. The area is wells served by bus or metro (10 minutes walk). It is not in the most central part of London and therefore you have less restaurants but still enough choices in several directions, some very close or maximum 10 minutes walk. Overall I would definitively recommend it.

The floor was not cleaned perfectly or up to the standard of the hotel up to me. The windows are not isolating very well with respect to the traffic. We did not take the breakfast, so I am not judging on the quality of it, the main reason was the price per person that we considered too expensive. Maybe the possibility of reduced formula for breakfast can be considered.

The location of the hotel was great. The tube stations were really close, there are quite a few restaurants and bars close-by, although the street of the hotel itself is quite. Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall are also very close, so very convenient. The staff was very welcoming, and the room was spacious, full of light and comfortable.

I was not very clear if room service was available or not. If it was, I couldn't find out how to order from my room, and didn't have access to the menu. If it wasn't available, I think it should be, given there is a restaurant in the hotel, and the standard of the hotel. Also, we could hear people in the corridor quite loudly, which didn't bother us, but could be an issue for light sleepers.

Room was great, staff were great, especially the bar staff in the evening. We had complimentary pints :)

Bathrooms need updating. Single room beds are together, that's not good at all, maybe ok for women and homosexuals.

Ideally located for The Royal Albert Hall (around a 10 minute walk) and just a short walk (around 20 minutes) from other local attractions (The V&A Museum, Harrods etc). Very well appointed room, (we had room 311, which was the twin room with street view) which was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom had under floor heating. All the controls for lighting, heating etc were on a digital control panel. All the staff were polite, courteous, helpful and cheerful. The breakfast was buffet style, which had a wide range of food to choose from, form plain toast to a full English breakfast and everything in between. The food was cooked to perfection and very tasty. There was an extra menu, too. The dining area was spotlessly clean and never felt crowded. There was an option to take away coffee and pastries from the breakfast, too. Just ask the staff for a take away bag and fill it up.

Although the room was lovely, it was smaller than expected, so a little cramped for two of us. The windows are also original sash windows which let draughts in. There is no handrail outside, to assist with climbing the steps to enter the hotel and not wheelchair friendly.

Great location, lovely room, we were upgraded and it was beautiful and very modern. Really clean.

We had dinner included in our stay, and this was not good. I had duck and brioche toast to start and the brioche was cremated. I immediately asked for more toast but this took so long. The main was a burger served on a heavy teak style board (which was not nice to eat off. The Beef was tasteless, with very little Seasoning or flavour. We were expecting a much higher standard than we were offered. We both had a medium glass of white wine, and the bill for that was £29!! Ridiculous! Breakfast the next morning was lovely and plentiful, so no complaints there at all. Just disappointed with the meal overall. Was a great shame.

Staff very friendly, nothing was to much trouble, lovely ambience. Excellent breakfast . Very comfortable beds. It was great that we could leave our luggage to enjoy another day around London and collect our luggage later .We were very impressed, we will definitely stay again.. Thank you

In the deluxe room, so dark couldn't see where to put the door card to turn on lights. No instructions to use the coffeetea making machine. Dark coloured machine, could not see the on/off button. Rang reception twice, one where to put door card and two how to use the machine. Gentleman came to our room to show us how to use the machine and where the tiny dark button switch was located. Twin room - the soap dispenser was hard to use.
