Room was exactly as pictured with comfortable double bed and modern walk-in shower. Spacious, clean and particularly appreciated being able to open window. Room was always a comfortable temperature. Staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient. Location was excellent, just across road from Gloucester Road Tube Station, Waitrose and Boots. Felt very safe in both hotel and area. The slippers were also appreciated!

There were various strange noises in the room during the night and early hours, not sure if these were from air conditioning, fridge or other rooms.

The room we had (218) was down a short dark corridor. The light only came on once we were a step or two in. The carpet was threadbare. Looked like it had been eaten by moths. Coffee and milk were not replenished, we stayed for 4 days.

Hotel in good location. Underground close by, so easy access to airport and other parts of London. Walking distance to Natural history museum, Science museum, Buckingham Palace, Harrods. Hotel itself was nice and modern. Staff were very nice and welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom had nice big shower and was spotless. Plenty of food options nearby to eat.

Bar area could be a little bit more comfortable. We had one drink here but left then to go a local bar. Felt the bar area lacked some comfy chairs for people to enjoy a drink here. Drink was pricey here too.

This hotel is clean, surprisingly spacious, and well-equipped. They give you warm cookies when you check in and the check in process is efficient and quick. The room was well furnished and the bathroom was very nice with a shower that was not terribly wide, but twice as long as expected. A small plus is that I could actually open the windows! Due to a booking problem we got a free upgrade to a king size bed instead of a double, which was a nice surprise. They didn’t make whatever issue they had OUR problem, they just fixed it immediately with a nice bonus for us. Great customer service. This hotel is extremely close to the underground, several museums, the Royal Albert Hall, pubs bakeries and restaurants.

The room was boiling hot (22C) when we entered, and we could only “cool” it to 19C. If you are a cold sleeper like we are, be prepared to open the windows. This cooled the room sufficiently but meant we had to deal with street noise. I wish the heating system could be turned off but the power button only turns off the display. Another minus is that breakfast (a simple buffet/continental) is an eye-watering £29 pp. you don’t have to pay for it, but that’s an outrageous price even for London. We opted not to pay for it, as Kensington is resplendent with cafes and bakeries.

Loved the location- we had a Harry Potter tour bought that started just around the block from the hotel and that was the main reason for choosing this hotel. And it worked just perfectly for all other sightseeing around the city Kids loved the “garden” in the back of the hotel, wish there were some kind of toys/ games provided

A Fantastic Stay – Thank You! We had the most wonderful overnight stay and can’t thank the hotel enough for making it so special. We were delighted to be upgraded to a suite, which was absolutely beautiful and made our experience even more memorable. The thoughtful birthday touches—petals, a balloon, a light-up birthday sign, and a delicious cheesecake—were such a lovely surprise and truly appreciated. Every detail was perfect, and the service was exceptional. We’ve had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Location is great. History museum is 5 min walk, Glouscester metro station 1 min walk, I would recommend everyone this hotel. Breakfast actually was beyond my expactations. beds were comfy, everyday they cleaned our room. we stayed as a family with 2 kids (9 and 4 y.o) it was right choice for us. everything is walking distance. kids slept well, we slept well. there is nothing bad about double tree hilton. they gave bottle water for free. the 1 point i didnt give because there wasnt enough place to put belongings. only little desk, there could be long desk.

Staff in reception were very friendly, welcoming & helpful. Location to Gloucester Road tube was excellent. Loved the products in the bathroom.

There was only one tiny window that had safety catches on it so it wouldn’t open properly & our multi-level suite was very very dark due to lack of natural light. One bedside light didn’t work & the other side had no plug points for phone chargers, etc. There was only one working lift.

Location is great! Just cross the road is the tube station. The neighborhood is safe and a variety of restaurants and a couple of supermarkets are within walking distance

The rooms are small but this is normal in London. The water bottles are complementary but every time after room service a have to request for it again otherwise they will not provide
