The apartment was nice but overpriced. It is very convenient to the tube station and a market. There is food in the area. The maid service was nice. The beds were cheap and hard. The a I r conditioner was fantastic and a relief in the heat wave of summer.

Check out turned out to be a pain. We had an early flight. There is supposed to be an attendant on duty 24 x 7. I went to the desk and rang for service. Waited and rang again, still no attendant. Had to go next door to sister complex. Found help and came back. Attendant finally showed up with an attitude because he was found out.

If you are looking for a well equipped apartment, this is the one. Kitchenware are available, dish washer and large fridge. I stayed during a heatwave in June and the air conditioner worked perfectly well. Very quit apartment, great location close to underground station, grocery shops and a number of excellent restaurants.

The elevator is tiny and barely fits 2 persons with suitcase. The wifi is available but take a note of 4MB/s speed. It would be great if bedrooms in the apartments are equipped with locks, some privacy is needed sometimes.

This was my second time staying here and we stayed for 4 nights. I loved the location in a safe and quiet South Kensington neighbourhood and the proximity to Gloucester Road Station as well as Sainsbury and Waitrose supermarkets. There were also a number of places to eat near the apartment with an excellent Thai restaurant just across Cromwell Road. I also discovered an equally excellent Malaysian restaurant Chempaka nearby which opened last year. The 2-bedroom apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable with housekeeping done every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Although we were staying on the second level, having a lift in the apartment was still great during check-in and check-out. There was a 24-hour concierge desk and secured access to the apartment. I also liked the quick response by the maintenance crew which replaced my faulty tap and window blinds within a day.

Not all the concierges at the reception provided the same level of service. A couple of them did not call back in response to our queries.

The apartment was well kept and clean, with a lot of appliances and everything in good working order. It was within walking distance to a great set of shops (if there’s anything you forgot for your trip like me, having a boots and a food shop close was great), as well as being walking distance to museums and with good links to the underground for traversing across London. Staff are absolutely excellent here and cannot help you enough. It’s my third time staying for the annual work event here and Ashburn always help make it a fantastic relaxing experience.

I was in the front basement apartment, which as a female solo traveller, really put me on edge as there were access steps outside my room. I spoke to the evening staff member, who was very reassuring about the security of the property (locks on doors and windows/ cctv around exterior of location) and being reachable 24/7 if I needed but in the future, I’ll request a room on another floor, as pedestrians close to my window really freaked me out a bit at night (not at all Ashburns fault!).

Exactly as the photos. 24 hour concierge, very polite. Good quality apartment and really comfortable bed and a great shower. Location was fantastic, close to all shops and few minute walk from the Gloucester rd station. The area is on the edge of South Kensington but still less than 10 min walk to South ken station and centre. Would definitely come back.

There was no sound proofing so we could hear all of the noise first thing in the morning with people talking and leaving, cleaners etc, could also hear the tube but thats expected given the distance to station. It did wake us up quite early every morning when we wanted a lay in but not the end of the world. If it wasn't for the noise I would of given it a 10.

Superb location in a safe neighbourhood. Few minutes walk to Gloucester Station and Waitrose supermarket. A huge Sainsbury supermarket was just across the road. The apartment had everything you need for a comfortable stay and I was surprised that even dish washing liquid and washing sponge were provided for the odd pieces to was although there was a dish washing machine. Housekeeping was good. Place was clean especially the toilet. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Access to the apartment block was through a digital lock so it was secure. The concierge was extremely helpful and I was pleasantly surprised to have my apartment upgraded.

Would be perfect if bedroom slippers were provided.

Excellent reception and welcome, with good knowledge of the surrounding area. The apartment was set out to a high standard, and well equipped with everything needed for in-house catering and a comfy stay. There are three supermarkets nearby, with Waitrose being on the way from Grosvenor Street underground! Also, there are plenty of places to eat, off the main road, towards Earls Court area. The bed was comfy, as was the sofa, and there was plenty of lighting. Whilst we were below ground in a basement apartment, it was possible to see people on the street and the sky. Staff, including the facilities person in the basement, were excellent and were able to provide advice and assistance.

On entry, the apartment was extremely cold, and it took most of the evening and night to warm up. This may be in part be due to the apartment being in the basement, although by the second day it had warmed up. The tiled floor is very attractive, although very cold on bare feet, say for night-time visits. The bathroom was exceptionally cold and remained so for the four-day stay. There are two high up single-glazed windows in the bathroom, which face an entry, and some sort of foam and secondary glazing could have been used to retain the heat.

Friendly and very helpful staff. The lady at the reception has been most helpful: she offered us an early check-in and as we asked for the Nespresso coffee machine, it has been brought to our apartment immediately. Great service, thank you again! Our apartment was spacious and the kitchen has everything we needed. No carpet, which is great. The best hairdryer I have ever had in a hotel. Rainshower with strong water pressure, even a hand bidet.

Not really a complaint, but salt and pepper shakers in the kitchen would have been nice,

Massive space and not just for London. Apartment has everything you need for even a long stay and staff were very friendly and responsive. Comfy beds, good WiFi, Waitrose and the train station steps away. TVs in every room, toiletries and towels provided. Beware, the ‘standard’ apartments are at basement level and the deluxe ones are on higher floors.

Tired furniture and cookware, no character. The only justification for the price is the fact that it’s London!!!

Extremely clean, great staff, safe area, just at the outskirts of Central London but still in Zone 1 for underground pricing. Very comfortable apartment and loved the decor, very clean/simple/modern. Plenty of heat in each room/hallway.

Floors are a bit thin and people above would come in late and walk/talk loudly, but it's apartment life. Someone kept choosing the wrong tv to cast their phone and interrupting the movie we were watching...lol. Maybe naming them better would help.
