Perfect reception staff, excellent breakfast, very good location.

Double bed was too small for 2 people, the room was not completely clean (dusty and spider webs), cleaning staff knocked the door at 8:30AM to ask what time are we moving out, during the cleaning my clothes were thrown from the bed on the floor and left there.

Location was fantastic short walk to Gloucester Rd tube station, coffee shops bars and restaurants all close by.

Hotel was a little dated, smell of damp in hallways but room was clean, comfortable and bathroom was modern and all that you.needed

The hotel is located on Cromwell Road, close to two metro stations on the Piccadilly Line (Earl's Court and Gloucester Road), which take you to the city centre in a few minutes. In addition, there is a direct line to Heathrow Airport. The staff were really nice and efficient. Both check-in and check-out were done very quickly and they offered to keep our lugagge there after check-out even before we had the chance to ask. Breakfast was varied and tasty, especially if you like full English breakfasts. It's true that there isn't such a big variety of bread or sweet buns or pastries. We had a double and an individual room and both of them were spotlessly clean. Wifi worked well as well

The individual room was a bit small and there wasn't heating in the bathroom of the double room, so it was a bit cooler than desired, but these were really minor issues concerning the overall experience.

The location is perfect, Gloucester Road underground station is in 5 minutes walk. Also The Natural History Museum and Harrods both are in walkable distances. The area was safe and clean. The staff were very helpfull and kind, they stored our luggages before check in and after check out. The hotel in overall was nice.

The photos of the double rooms were a bit misleading, or atleast our room didn't look those on the photoes, but it was a nice room. The bathroom was a bit small, and for the hot water we had to wait, altough that might happened because of we showered late. There was a stain in the bed when we arrived, but they changed the bedding so that wasn't a big deal.

All the staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, tidy and the beds were comfortable. We were happy with the size of the bath towels, as usually these are very small in hotels, but not here. Breakfast was great before heading out into London for the day. The selection was good and all very tasty. Again, the staff on the breakfast room were attentive and friendly. A fabulous location for what we needed and having the tube close by meant heading to other areas was very easy. Overall, a wonderful stay and we will definitely be recommending this hotel to people we know!

Location was great as going to a Show in West Brompton so walking distance (30 mins) on a sunny Spring evening. Area:- Walked from hotel to Kensington Gardens and through to Hyde Park (90 mins - 2 hours). Lovely area, saw Royal Albert Hall, Sculpture exhibitions, Serpentine Gallery, Princess Diana's Memorial Fountain, Pedalos and beautiful flower beds. Deck chairs for rent along the walk and coffee shop/ bar and grass to sit and watch world go by. Gloucester Road Tube 5 mins walk away from hotel to get around in city. Went to Skygarden near Bank and Westminister Abbey for excellent visit via Tube direct from Gloucester Road) Room was a good size and beds very comfortable. Air conditioning in room kept us cool. Kettle in room for coffee and tea and small milks. Shower was roomy and water hot. Plenty of towels and toiletries as was a triple room. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and service excellent. Scrambled eggs and Porridge delicious. Check in and out smooth. Paid at check in which was fine.

Would have been nice to have a small bottle of water in room but not an issue as big Waitrose is walking distance.

The room was comfortable and quiet. The location was perfect for The Royal Albert Hall, and the Natural History Museum, both in easy walking distance. Shops and Gloucester Road tube station closer. Breakfast was buffet style and in a very pleasant basement room, plenty to choose from and the staff were very helpful. Used the bar one evening, which is located next to reception, very quiet with friendly staff.

The view from the basement bedroom could have been improved by painting the wall outside or putting some plant climbers up the wall. The water in the sink and shower was draining very Slowly. No smoked salmon at breakfast, I usually have smoked salmon and scrambled eggs when I am away, this is the first hotel I have stopped in that didn't have it!

We arrived quite early before check in time. I had asked if an early check in was possible and when we got there, our room was ready. How wonderful it was! We were welcomed so friendly. The room was much bigger than I had expected, thankfully. All necessities were in place, even iron and ironing table. The room was cleaned every day, garbage removed, sheets and towels changed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and absolutely adequate. The staff have always been so helpful and friendly with true smiles on their faces. The check out was also so fast. On two days of our stay we had daily tours from London. I had asked if they could prepare sandwiches for the way. They prepared a nice snack with comfort food, fruit and even juice. I really appreciate the staff's thoughtfulness and kindness. Such a gesture! We had a great stay. Really appreciate!

The furniture was a little bit older but fonctioned normally.

Location was great for where I had an event. Near to the tube station. Lots of amenities in the room Iron/board/fridge/safe. Creaky bed but comfortable. Nice breakfast. Clean linen.

The room I had was very different to what I saw on the website when booking. Room(522) was like I was in the attic of an old house with a view of the top of chimney pots and pigeons.. old-fashioned,creaky floorboards throughout the room and in the corridors, which early in the morning people walking about will wake you up. Stained light shades,cracked bathroom tiles,holes, and black marks on the walls.The bathroom windowsill was held on by filler.. There is a fridge in the room, and that will wake you up all through the night.

The location was very close to the underground and it was very easy to get around london. from heathrow airport there is a direct train to the hotel and luckily we were able to check in 30 minutes early. the natural history museum is only a 10 minute walk and there are plenty of nice cafes in the area to get breakfast or tea. staff was very friendly and helpfull and both the check-in and check-out process went very smoothly. 10/10 recommend this hotel when visiting london!

in the elevator there is a sign saying once a week the fire alarm will be tested at a designated time (good in my opinion to ensure safety) but they also did a test on times outside of the time noted on the sign which was a little startling. went down to the reception and they made sure to let us know it was just a test and everything was alright. so keep in mind the fire alarm gets tested frequently and can be outside of the times stated in elevator! (no big deal to me but could be good to know for people who have problems with this)
