This is a little gem. Excellent location, (for my needs), quite a few extras in the room I did not expect. Big windows,-- which did open for air; a sparkling clean water kettle, which is a must in my opinion, and I am always surprised by how many places let the lime/calc build up...but here it was perfect. Also a surprise was having two different plug outlets: British and European. Reception was polite, and accommodating, and exceptionally patient. There was an overall positive vibe in the establishment.

My only let down was door slams-- this is not the fault of the establishment in my opinion. The room is soundproof, as far as I could tell, but heavy doors need to be shut gently by a traveler. I would say that is part of hotel etiquette, and a responsibility of the traveler. We can't have soundproof/safe rooms without a heavy door. If we take a few extra seconds, the door will /can be shut quietly. I may be wrong about this, but it's just my own experience.

Clean freshly decorated and quiet room with newly fitted bathroom. Air conditioning worked. Hotel in great location and near tube station.

The breakfast is fine if it is included in your package but I would not pay extra for it as it is a very basic selection and you are surrounded by great breakfast places.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everything was ok - room was clean, they changed towels every day and cleaned up. location is great - natural history museum, design museum and metro station are all in a short walking distance. couple of grocery stores around. very late check-in was no problem (we arrived around 1am and there was still staff at the reception). hotel itself is modern and neat. we like our stay there. we did not purchase the breakfast though, so I can't tell anything about it.

there was some problem with wc flushing button - sometimes it kinda stuck and water was running all the time. I managed to fix this by pressing multiple times, but this was kinda annoying, as it happened regularly. there was no fridge in the room. it was ok, but something to consider, if you need one.

The cleanliness was superb. The room was cleaned every morning, the bedding was also changed every morning and we also got new towels every morning. The reception staff was also very kind, we were immediately checked in upon arrival and they let us leave our luggage with them the last day while we roamed the city prior to our flight. The room was also quite big and spacious, which is not always the case in London. All in all, a very pleasurable stay that we would definitely recommend. The hotel is nice and clean.

The noise from Cromwell road is very loud, so I suggest buying some ear plugs for sleeping. A small fridge and/or a microwave would be a good addition to the room.

The breakfast has a variety of options for the guests both cooked and cold. I’ve stayed at the hotel many times and always have a comfortable experience. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Remember your passport for the check in at the hotel reception desk. The rooms are cleaned every day and fresh bathroom towels are provided in the rooms. The location of the hotel is very convenient for the restaurants, supermarkets and cafes in Kensington. Gloucester Road tube station is about a 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. The local park is about 30 minutes walk. I recommend staying in the hotel if you’re a tourist or visiting London on business.

There’s nothing which I found unacceptable during my stay. The hotel is one of the best in the Kensington area.

The staff was really helpful, polite and friendly and they catered to every need we had. Our specific requirements for an accessible through elevator (knee problem) and spaceous room (because our stay was quite long and our suitcase big) were perfectly met! Every surface in the room was clean and the furniture and bathroom were also perfectly functioning and clean.

The bathroom's doorknob was in need of a clean or replacement. It just didn't look as clean as the rest of the room. Maybe an overlook or simply the only imperfection to an otherwise squeeky clean room.

The room was comfortable. The bed was well presented, I slept comfortably, no noise heard from the outside during the night. The en-suite bathroom was clean and extra towels provided as I requested. A standard double room was expected. There was enough space for hanging clothes in the wardrobe. The hotel is very good quality and the breakfast provided is a variety of hot and cold food. A good cooked breakfast selection.

The Booking.com website marketing stated a courtyard view could be seen from the room. However, the windows in the room had frosted glass. No view was possible to see. Everything else was fine.

We had them clean the room twice. It was nice to come back to fresh clean towels, extra shampoo and cream and good air. The AC was a lifesaver. The room was quite big for London. And we appreciated that the deposit was £1. Very nice and hot water.

The hair dryer didn't work. The shower head was broken, but the handy shower head was easy to set up high. The walls were very thin. We were worried our TV might be too loud. We would hear clear conversations behind the door. Thankfully there were not much happening at the times we were in the hotel.
