This was a wonderful hotel. Very good location. Close to the Gloucester Road underground station. Building and area is very nice. Classic British type housing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Made our stay that much enjoyable. Rooms are clean and have a cozy atmosphere. The AC works perfectly. We had a couple of cold nights during our stay so could warm up the room with it too. Also they do provide filtered water, coffee and tea free of charge.

There are a few minuses. The shower head does not take off. You can only turn it ever so slightly. The cleaning costs extra charge. Which could cause additional expenses for a longer trip. The rooms aren’t very big.

It’s pretty new so it was all in good condition.

The tiniest room, but for one night alone it was fine.

Great location, just a few blocks from the tube and main roads with tons of shops and restaurants. Comfy bed, good facilities. Overall good value for money.

It was very hot in the room when I checked in, probably 27 or 28 degrees. I asked the front desk for a fan and he supplied one immediately. With the fan the room was comfortable. The light in the bathroom is not above the sink so it is hard to see in the mirror to apply makeup.

The staff were very nice and so helpful. The hotel is situated in a very nice part of London and not far from a tube station. The room was nice and had a lovely ensuite shower

The room was quite hot even with the fan on. It could do with air conditioning. The water pressure of the shower was weak.

Location is very good to explore London, quiet neighborhood but short walk to underground station, Gloucester Rd. Lot of food choices near the station as well. My room is nice and clean, enough space to open big luggage flat on the floor, bed is comfy. I'm lucky to get the room facing the front of the hotel so I got nice view, but Iooking at the floor plan not everyone will get this. There is no AC but they provided electric fan, luckily the temperature was not too hot this time. Staffs are nice in general.

No free housekeeping service, at least it should be provided for ppl who stay longer than 2 nights. I know price surged a lot during summer and Oasis concert period, but at this price, basic housekeeping should be added. Another point is small shower box with the fixed shower head. Imagine you have no place to stand away from the cold splash while the water temp is still adjusting, it must be harder in winter! And the water kind of not falling to where I want it to be, so it's a bit hard to wash my hair.

The location is excellent – South Kensington is one of my favorite neighborhoods in London. It’s elegant, quiet, and very central, with a tube station just 3 minutes away that connects you easily to the rest of the city. The hotel itself is aesthetic and comfortable, especially by London standards, where the price-to-quality ratio is generally poor. The design is modern, the bed is comfortable, and the room includes all the essential amenities. It’s a self-service, come-and-go style hotel, meaning no daily housekeeping or front desk (there is one but just for secutity/easy issues), which can actually be a plus if you prefer more independence and flexibility during your stay. Though I booked one of the cheaper, semi-underground rooms, I was aware of what to expect and didn’t mind the lack of natural light. It’s compact but well thought out, and fine for a short stay.

As mentioned, London’s price-to-quality ratio is rough, and this hotel isn’t an exception – for the same price in another city, you could stay at a 5-star property. But again, that’s more of a London issue than the hotel’s fault. The rooms are very small, and in the cheaper categories, you’ll be staying partially underground, with minimal daylight and a tight layout, especially for two people. The virtual check-in system was a bit frustrating at first – it took some time to get it working. But once it worked, it became convenient with access codes and no need for keys.

We stayed for 4 nights, went to Brighton and then stayed another 2 nights there and it was the perfect hotel. Our room on B floor was perfect, we had a dedicated space for the living room, separate from the bedroom. It was very clean, the staff is amazing and very quick to get back to you should you need anything ( towels, questions, etc). On the second part of the trip, we had a room on the 4th floor and the view was lovely. Very clean as well. Overall very quiet, beds are comfortable & clean. Complimentary breakfast was good, multiple choices of breakfast items ( pain au chocolat, muffins, oat cookies, bread, yogourt, fruits & vegetables and choices of dairy and non-dairy milks.)

Central location, clean, mostly comfortable, iron and ironing board was nice, option to have breakfast now which is new, staff is friendly and helpful.

Shower is very small, hard to regulate heat in room. Single room was very small and I did not love being on the ground floor. However, I booked the single room And should have known it was tiny. Could not really open a suitcase properly. Nobody comes to clean the room. I was there 3 nights and not once did anyone come to make bed, refresh towels, clean garbage etc. not sure what the policy is.

Clean, easy to get to from Gloucester Road and despite the small size, all I needed for a night in the city for work.

Small room so not a lot of space to get along bottom of bed to use wardrobe, etc.
