The upkeep of the hotel was very good. The bathroom installations were clearly above average for London. The staff was very helpful throughout. The location is convenient: between two major tube stations (right between Heathrow airport and the city center of Westminster, with supermarkets nearby) yet at enough of a distance to be quiet at night.

Similar to other traditional buildings in the neighbourhood, the hotel has 17 rooms on a floor below the street level – with windows for air and limited daylight, but extremely unappealing views. It worked for us, because we were out and about all day, but it might be bothersome for those who seek to enjoy the elegance of Kensington from within their hotel room. The bunkbed rooms look appealing for children traveling with parents, but our two rooms (bunkbed + double) weren't exactly close on the same floor. Also, the hotel expects one adult guest to register for every room on arrival.

This hotel was a pleasure to get back to after a busy day. Kind staff and comfortable, clean room. We were never disturbed by any noise despite being on the ground floor. There was construction going on right outside our window, but we stayed over a weekend and the workers were only there on Friday. The hotel is a short walk from Earl’s Court Underground station. They offer a breakfast menu from a nearby café, but we didn’t use this service, preferring instead to get breakfast at the LEON right by the train station. There were four of us staying in one room, with two young adults sleeping on cots. The bed was very comfortable, the cots were as comfortable as a cot can get ;-). Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, close to the Earls' Court tube stop, making it easy to get from Heathrow, go to central London and also out to Kew (where. my business was). Room was quite comfortable; TV and WIFI both worked well. staff was polite and helpful.

Two points for improvement. The sink drained very slowly; I do not know if it is clogged or just has an odd design for its drainage pipes. The coat hangers in the closet were set very low over the surface below them, so that if one hung a longer item--trousers, coat (I would imagine dress as well) could not hang straight down but ended folded up against the surface beneath them.

The staff was simply lovely. When we arrived there was a handwritten note thanking us for our reservation, which I have never had happen at any hotel. The staff were very helpful and gave us good tips as we were a big group traveling through for our first visit in London. Added plus is that it was right off the Earl’s Court tube stop.

Coming from America, we are used to more space or adjoining hotel rooms for our family of 5. We realized that our expectations aren’t in line with how hotels usually operate overseas, so the hotel placed our 2 rooms right next to each other, which was perfect.

Lovely hotel. We were traveling from Dublin and Vienna for a family funeral. The family oriented room was perfect, as were the facilities. Lovely welcoming hand written note inviting us for a drink in the reception area which we were not in a position to avail of, given the circumstances, but would when we stay again. Great check in, lovely, informative staff and this high quality service was sustained when we needed extra hangers, help with preparing formal clothes for the service etc. Excellent mini kitchen facilities, great tea and coffee in the room provided as standard. Smooth check out, very understanding policy storing cases after our formal check out before departure for the airport. We will definitely be back and would recommend to any friends visiting London.

The drainage in this part of London is very antiquated and the toilet clogged one morning. This came as no surprise to us or the hotel, it was sorted immediately.

Room was good size. Bed Comfy. Nice to have 2 pillows each plus cushions. So many places I have been to recently have only supplied one actual pillow each. Everything appeared very clean. Nice to have kettle ,microwave and some plates and cutlery. Staff were very friendly ,professional but accommodating .Price reasonable very much so considering we were given upgrade on checking in. Area fairly quiet but near to busy areas and transport links. Also within walking distance of many culturally significant places, such as The Albert Hall, The Design museum and The Science museum There was some diverted traffic which probably made area busier traffic wise than usual however room given was to the back of building and was quiet.

Could have benefitted from a Dishtowel. Washing up liquid available on request only. In common with most hotels there are no coasters provided which would make it much easier to keep tables and furnishings unmarked . Inside of one drawer and carpet were a bit marked but as stated previously everything was spotlessly clean. These are small issues and on the whole this is one of the best places I have stayed.

The hotel is situated a couple of minutes from tube station and the High Street. For me it was the staff that made this visit memorable, they were 5 star first class. They litrally went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble and exceptionally helpful. The Royal Kensington should be very proud of every single member of their staff. Room clean, kitchenette excellent as was shower and towels.

Our hotel room booked as a King twin was very small although reception had said it was a spacious room, I think he probably thinking of a different room, it really wasn't, although the beds were nice and big. The bed literally up against the window was very drafty but again the heating was good so not really a problem.

We stayed at The Resident Kensington for 2 nights for my husband's birthday. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and spacious, there was tea and coffee available, the bed was comfortable. I mentioned our special occasion when booking the hotel, and the reception team left a cute gift and a card on the bed - it was such a lovely touch. The bathroom was ok, the shower was small and a little bit uncomfortable to use, but ok overall. It's a really nice area of London with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby.

The Hotel does not have a breakfast room or a restaurant or a bar. It is a simple Hotel with no extra amenities but it is clean, good quiet location. There is shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion in the bathroom. The room has tea and coffee facilities but no mini bar. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy and the room a decent size with an iron and ironing board, and a desk.

Everything was fine but it's nice to have the option for a breakfast. I know I could have ordered something to the room but going to a breakfast room is nice.

I was well looked after by the friendly staff. I had a single room, it was very comfortable. It had a small kitchenette with a coffee maker and a microwave, plate, cups, cutlery for one. I loved it here and would definitely stay here if ever I'm back .

I didn't expect my room to be cleaned after 1 night (i only booked for 2) ,and the towels replaced and I had my suitcase open on the bed. I'm not complaining my room was tidied, but if i had of known someone was going to be coming in, I would have had my suitcase closed, so that all my stuff wasn't exposed.
