Always friendly service and the rooms are generally excellent. Probably time to change the carpet in the bedroom and thed furniture is a bit tired, but that is a small issue. My only very minor comment is that the kitchen could use a bit more silverware and the "freebie" breakfast food and cookies don't get restocked, whether you are staying for 2 nights or 6 nights. Second time staying here and I would stay again.

Nothing bad to say -- its a very nice place.

The room was beautiful, better than the pictures. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The bed was really comfy and the room had everything needed for a short stay. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.

Very cold in the night. The double bed was two singles pushed together.

Location to tube station definitely. Also, I arrived at 6 am from Australia. Check in was 3.00 pm, but they were able to have room prepared at earliest convenience, which was 12.00 pm. Definitely having cooking and washing facilities helped as we were there for five nights

It is pricey, but I definitely need access to fresh air if I am staying for a longer period of time. So that was a must for me. Having a balcony. One review that I read, was noise from above. I found that if you leave air conditioning on, you can't hear anything. And it was only till 11 pm so not really a problem

As I was visiting London on my own for medical reasons, it was important for me to feel secure, other people around to help if needed and comfortable, "130 Queens Gate", met all these needs are far more, everyone was simply marvellous even the porters and the room maids. Additionally, I have to mention Angela, the Receptionist who is absolutely fabulous and exceptionally generous. As I checked in after having hospital treatment, I had no food in, so I asked Angela if she could source a delivery service but the type of food wasn't desirable. Angela offered to go to Waitrose about 10minutes walk away each way to buy a selected number of items, but she bought more and wait for it, "she didn't want to take any money for it". This level of service you don't find anymore, so thank you once again Angela, you are a born STAR and she must have read my mind, she had bought cream eclairs too even though I didn't mention that I was a cake person, a glorious treat. I would have no hesitation in recommending 130 Queens Gate to anyone because you will be very well treated and will find very nicely appointed rooms that are extremely clean and comfortable. I also got the impression that if there was something that I didn't like, they would have sorted it, nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff.

I think the beds could do to be a bit softer!!!

Nothing really as everything meets our expectation

The location was excellent. Close to two tube stations and in a lively, diverse neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and food shops of various kinds. Staff was helpful and attentive. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable and home-like. The kitchen had everything you could need and supplies were replenished on request. Housekeeping was provided three times while we were there.

Bathroom could be updated. The little balcony couldn't be used for sitting out at the time we were there.

The studio apartment was excellent (it was set off the main corridor up a flight of stairs that only served this apartment which made it very quiet). There was a separate kitchen and bathroom in addition to the bed sitting room. The air con kept the room at a good temperature. Plenty of hanging space and lots of coat hangers were appreciated. Small packets of breakfast cereal were provided along with tea and coffee provisions and biscuits. There is a small Waitrose a five minute walk away for other provisions. South Kensington tube is a 5 -7 minute walk away and there are lots of bus stops locally too.

A coat rack in the hallway to hang up wet coats would be very useful. A pair of kitchen scissors would also be good. The door to the bed sitting room didn't close fully - this could be easily remedied.

Prestigious location in South Kensington, Queen's Gate is convenient and central, with wider street lined with big trees in a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. The apartment is spotlessly clean, with furniture in good condition (in which many apartments in this price fail) Beds are comfy, kitchen and bathrooms are clean with necessary amenities. Staff are dutiful, helpful and kind. Reservation staff is accessible and responsive also. Welcome cookies are nice. Washing machine. Very presentable lobby. Agreeable price.

Hope there is more flexible cancellation/change policy, under reasonable condition. Some flexible free parking space if possible reserved for guests. Parking fee in Central London is horrendous.

My room was beautiful and the hotel is centrally located next to amazing galleries, parks and restaurants! Most of the staff were also very pleasant.

The night receptionist, Qudair was quite unpleasant. He questioned repeatedly if I was a guest at the hotel even after I had stated my room number 3-4 times. He then checked my key card to confirm that I was a guest and instead of apologizing brushed me off. This incident was also reported to the hotel manager and he was very accommodating and apologized on behalf of Qudair.

The location is great, just a few minutes walk from either of two tube stations. The welcome from Virgil when we checked-in was great, and we had a good rapport with him afterwards. The apartment was just what we were expecting, despite a few reviews suggesting others did not get the room they thought they were getting. Everything we needed was provided, and of good quality. The amount of space in the living area was superb. It is just the sort of place I would love to own !!!
