Property is lovely, beds very comfortable and great facilities

I was surprised that I was based a 10% service charge for staying at the hotel. I have never encountered that before and was not mentioned in my booking.

The hotel is beautiful and everyone is extremely nice and always willing to help. It was easy to feel at home away from home at The Adria hotel. The room was a very decent size with lovely Georgian windows in both the bedroom and bathroom. It is also very conveniently located in the heart of South Kensington next to the V&A museum.

The only flaw with the hotel is the noise level at night due to the underground. The tube is literally below the hotel and the rooms vibrate and rumble quite regularly. This was particularly annoying at night and made sleeping rather difficult. We understand that this is hardly the hotel's fault, but it put a damp on the whole experience.

The difference between the booking.com price and the final price. The booking included 2 adults and a child. After the confirmation they contact me to announce me that is an extra fee of 50 pounds for the extra bed. There was a services tax of 31 pounds by night- the second unpleasant (and very expensive) "surprise". So the difference between the booking.com price and the price I paid was approximately 500 euros

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were warmly received, and were promptly offered a welcome drink. The staff provided a detailed introduction to all the hotel facilities and services (not in a perfunctory manner). The room was exquisite and comfortable, clean and tidy. What was most impressive was that all the staff were highly professional and the service was perfect. I especially want to commend the delicious breakfast and the service. In fact, on the third day, we changed to Rosewood London. It is well-known but has poor service and the room is ordinary. The whole family (including children）regretted that we should have stayed at The Adria instead. However, there are always regrets in travel. Next time when we visit London, we will definitely book this hotel again!

Staff was warm and friendly. The decor in the common rooms was beautiful. We had breakfast 2x during our stay and the food was excellent. Rooms are a very good size.

Anyone choosing this hotel should know that you have to ring in and out. They answer the door very quickly, but you do not have access via a key or key card. No bureaus to store your clothing but there were shelves. If you prefer a shower stall, vs. the bath/shower combo with 1/2 glass, make sure to request it. Underground runs beneath the hotel so you will hear the "rumbling" between around 7 a.m. until after 11 p.m. Was noticeable at first, but you get used to it.

The staff were very nice.

When I book a Deluxe King room I don’t want to be given the disabled room as has happened a number of times on this trip. When ordering breakfast I specified my poached eggs not be runny as I dislike the taste of the yolk and I said I would need them to be recooked if that happened. Sure enough as soon as I cut into the eggs the yolks ran everywhere and I had to wait while they were recooked. They ended up like hard boiled eggs the next time. Not the best breakfast. The next morning to be safe I ordered an omelette and the same thing happened. Inside was just undercooked egg. I had to have it redone and wait again. Neither breakfast could be eaten at the same time as my husband.

Friendly and professional staff, always available for your needs. Jack was especially helpful during our stay. Room service food was fantastic. The suite immaculately clean and presented. The room feature listings do not do the suites justice for the service they provide e.g. TV for when you are in the bath and separate massage shower. The rooms are quiet for the central location. 12pm checkout lets you enjoy a lay in on your final day.

The suite air-conditioning was not fully working but did take the edge off the London heatwave. I forgot to raise this with staff but I'm sure they would resolve quickly if asked.

It felt like our own home with a butler service.The Breakfast has a huge selection of options to suite every culture and taste, all freshly prepared. The scrambled eggs and salmon were the tastiest we have ever had and the omelette was compact. Would be ideal to celebrate a special occasion.

The small size of the shower gel ,they did explain that they are waiting for the stock they have to run out.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Their hospitality was truly exceptional. The room was beautiful—spacious, impeccably clean, and designed with such attention to detail. The interior design throughout the hotel was stunning, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere that made my stay even more enjoyable. Every request was met with a smile, and the staff genuinely cared about making my experience perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning!
