Great location, close to the museums, tube,.. Nice breakfast, friendly staff and we slept well in the bed. Loved the big fridge in the room and a luggage storage.

Only 2 things which are mentionable- towel holder and no fan. Strangely no fan/ aircon. Luckily with open windows the night was ok and cool enough. The room was warm during the day. However, wish the room could have been a little cooler and might be able to sleep longer. I missed any kind of towel holder next to sink and a (heating) towel rack for bath towels would have been nice too.

A few positive points to mention: - The location is just lovely, super safe and nice neighbourhood - 2 mins away from the Natural History Museum and lots of other museums in the area. - The staff was so friendly and nice that it definitely added to our experience. - Everything was really clean and the towels were changed every day without the need of requesting it. - Being able to leave your luggage until it is time to check in is quite handy.

A few neutral/negative points to mention: - The beds weren't really comfortable, they were quite stiff for me, but that could very well be a personal preference. - I think it is definitely worth requesting to be given a room at one of the lower floors, in case you have limited mobility. We were right at the top on the 4th floor and I could imagine this would be challenging for older or less mobile people. - As our room was on the top floor, you could definitely hear the pigeons in the roof quite a lot in the mornings, could be seen as a fun alarm clock but might be annoying for some.

Location was amazing, just 5 minutes away from the tube and National History museum. Staff were all amazing, really friendly and helpful. And free breakfast!!

This hotel used to be a hostel and still very much has the hostel vibes, entrance, reception and corridors all feel very hostelly however the rooms whilst very basic are huge and our 3 bed room actually had 3 proper beds. I would say if you want cheap, cheerful, friendly with a great location then go for it. If you're expecting some big hotel luxury this isn't the place for you.

Location of hotel is great. Staff are brilliant, friendly and helpful. Room was super clean, had all the facilities you need for a city break. Bed very comfy, white pristine sheets - perfect to sink into after a busy day. Nice bathroom. Continental breakfast with lots to choose from. No keycards here just a proper key for the door.

Booking.com has Acacia listed as a hotel, but Google list as a hostel?? I feel this may seem like an "inbetween"? Given the area, some may feel they want a more "posh" hotel? This is not a bad review, there is a welcoming feel to the Acacia, it is a great place to stay, so maybe they are being classed incorrectly by Google

Whenever I'm going to an event nearby this is the place I always go to. The staff are very friendly and helpful, The complimentary breakfast was new to me (not cooked meals) and appreciated. Bearing in mind that this is a budget hotel my room was spotless and beyond basic. Bed was comfortable and spacious. We had a shower but I don't know if all rooms have one. The hotel is minutes away from museums and fairly close to the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park.

It's not a complaint but our room was in the top floor and it was a bit of a climb to reach it as there's no lifts. It would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues to reach (the stairs are narrow and large suitcases might be a struggle to navigate).

Excellent location for central London. Even the tube strike didn’t affect us being able to get about. The hotel was extremely clean, well presented. The room was cleaned during our stay which we didn’t expect for a 2 night stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. Amazing value for money to say the location is so central. Loads of nice cafes nearby to grab breakfast before you go exploring. The area felt very safe.

The rooms are a bit dated but not really a problem when it’s a bed to sleep in. There was a nail sticking up from the carpet in our room which I caught a few times.

Quiet, clean & spacious accommodation with a fan in the heart of London during a heatwave. All 3 staff members who we met were courteous, professional, and helpful. Our stay was at the end of our 3 week visit, and we had 4 heavy suitcases, & 2 backpacks in tow. Our check-in host, Mohammed, without a fuss, seamlessly moved us from the 4th floor to the 1st-floor accommodation. That is commendable observation, decency, & kindness. There is a guest lounge, where one can socialise outside of dining hours. Much appreciated. The complimentary shampoo/bodywash has a delightful sandalwood scent and is gentle on your hair. Thank you for a delightful last stay.

The pristine shower, exemplary in every other aspect, is slippery when wet. Kindly consider putting in a few non-slip adhesive stickers for the shower.

Location, breakfast, room size and ensuite facilities. Breakfast was plentiful and a great continental spread to keep us sustained for our exploration of London sights. Whilst the four flights of stairs were challenging (not recommended for those who find stairs of any sort a challenge) the room was clean and location to the Tube and Hyde Park were worth it.

Going up and down from the fourth floor with luggage.

Location is the big thing, if you wanted to be near all the museums, this spot is barely a 5 minute walk to the Natural History Museum, as well as only a couple minutes walk to bus stops and the train line. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good too. Service was good and the staff I encountered were friendly. The bathroom, while separate from the room I was in, was remarkably clean and spacious. It also had a pretty good TV that was attached to the wall with a swivel so you could easily turn it to face you while you were in bed.

You get what you pay for in terms of this economy room. It's pretty cramped and lacked some basic amenities like a bin. Also there are a number of charging ports but some of them are really high above the bed which is pretty strange; made it hard to use without a long cable.
