Great location, close to the museums, tube,.. Nice breakfast, friendly staff and we slept well in the bed. Loved the big fridge in the room and a luggage storage.

Only 2 things which are mentionable- towel holder and no fan. Strangely no fan/ aircon. Luckily with open windows the night was ok and cool enough. The room was warm during the day. However, wish the room could have been a little cooler and might be able to sleep longer. I missed any kind of towel holder next to sink and a (heating) towel rack for bath towels would have been nice too.

Location is the big thing, if you wanted to be near all the museums, this spot is barely a 5 minute walk to the Natural History Museum, as well as only a couple minutes walk to bus stops and the train line. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good too. Service was good and the staff I encountered were friendly. The bathroom, while separate from the room I was in, was remarkably clean and spacious. It also had a pretty good TV that was attached to the wall with a swivel so you could easily turn it to face you while you were in bed.

You get what you pay for in terms of this economy room. It's pretty cramped and lacked some basic amenities like a bin. Also there are a number of charging ports but some of them are really high above the bed which is pretty strange; made it hard to use without a long cable.

Excellent value; a big room, comfortable bed, a quiet, safe hotel and a quiet road. Fantastic location! Staff were very friendly and professional; we were very grateful to them for waiting for us to arrive, as we were delayed past the usual Reception close time. And an excellent complementary breakfast buffet; very well organised and good quality. The hotel is ideal for all the Kensington museums and for the large family rooms. Excellent & easy transport links; South Ken tube station is a very short walk and bus stops very close. We will definitely stay again when next in London, thank you Acacia ⭐️

No problems or suggestions - a great value hotel.

Staff were so friendly and thoughtful. They really helped me out by allowing me to store my luggage while I left town for a few days. The hostel I had stayed at prior was going to charge me 7.5Euro per day but here was no charge! There are a lot of stairs and the gentleman at the front desk when I checked in helped me get my heavier bag up them, which I SO appreciated! This was the first place I stayed in a while that offered Netflix and it actually worked on the TV. Everything was as pictured and described, so very simple in terms of room size and amenities, and everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast had a great assortment of breads, meats, cheeses, cereals, hard boiled eggs, and more. This was less than a 10 minute walk to the nearest tube station, museums, and loads of restaurants and quick bites.

A lot of steep stairs but that was expected after reading the reviews, and appreciate the help with my luggage up them!

The location was ideal for my requirements, as I had two local meetings to attend and visits to the museums in and around Cromwell Road. The staff at The Acacia were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was continental. The room met my needs, with tea/coffee provided. A desk, wardrobe and comfortable bed. Also, a private shower/toilet across the hall. I was on a tight budget and the price fell into that perfectly. There's really not much else to add. I had a great week and enjoyed my stay in London. I will definitely look for availability here, when I next stay over in London.

I can honestly say, there's nothing I didn't like. Apart from the fact that I wish I could have stayed longer.

Amazing location: steps from the subway (underground), a few minutes walk to Kensington Gardens, right next to Natural History Museum & Royal Albert Hall. Good breakfast (even for a family of picky eaters!): coffee & tea, cereal, muesli, yogurt, cold meats & cheese, hard boiled eggs, tomatoes, fruit, 2-3 types of bread, pastries, butter, jam, and other condiments. I prefer a protein packed breakfast, so I was pretty satisfied with the selection. My room was clean, well-maintained, and had daily housekeeping. Super friendly and helpful staff (the front desk guy & breakfast area ladies). Thank you so much for such a welcoming atmosphere! Will stay there again.

The hotel is a bit outdated, but it’s still a nice place to stay. The only teeny tiny trash can is not enough for a family room. Not very comfortable pillows.

Clean, functional, perfect location and great room that slept three people. Lots of space, towels provided, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, kettle. TV, floor standing fan, lots of plugs and lights, a dressing table/desk, chairs, wardrobe/hangers, hairdryer, spare duvet; also a fridge/freezer that didn’t get cold sadly so we didn’t use that! Not much natural daylight as most of the window was in the en suite bathroom, including a clear pane directly opposite and above from the mirror (a mirror that didn’t steam up when you showered) So we had to put a towel over the mirror and/or the clear window before showering or drying as the buildings across and higher up from the bathroom window would have been able to see everything! :-/ Shower is good - Water pressure and temperature great. The bathroom light couldn’t be switched off either as it needs a replacement pull cord, but it didn’t affect our stay, just not very eco friendly! Liquid hand soap and mini complimentary body wash/shampoo provided - Slept very well as the room was at the back of the building and we were able to leave the window open a little for fresh air etc - The windows that opened were four sections of slatted glass that you moved up and down according to your preference - Which were fine and did the job! Complimentary Breakfast was more than adequate and filled me up until tea time - Thank you! :) Hotel allowed us, free of charge, to drop our case and bag off before check in and again to leave them after check out to collect later on before our train home! I cannot fault this hotel - It’s unique, staff are friendly and polite and beyond courteous - Lots of original Victorian/Edwardian decor throughout - Which I appreciate indeed!

The very loud German pop music on repeat by two male singers blaring out of the TV in the Dining Room at Breakfast, which caused a severe migraine and almost ruined my stay - Luckily I had brought some medication 🙄😬😓😑 Not a good idea for me personally at that time of the day - Sorry!

Fantastic staff and spacy room. Good continental breakfast with warm eggs, some ham and cheese, yoghurt, cereals and fruit. A hairdryer in the room, coffee & tea. Ironing facilities available in hallway without additional request. Non Uk guests can charge their mobiles using a built-in usb charger, wich I have noticed just after having bought an adaptor. Location is fantastic - very close to tube and just 2 min away from the Natural history museum. Shops and cafés nearby. Highly recommend 👍

we've had a room at the 3rd floor which was quite challenging for us to reach since no elevator. 3rd floor sounds good, but after a long walking day it was a challenge even for my 10 year old one. If it would be 1st or 2nd floor I would rate it as 10 😊 thank you guys for such a lovely service!

Location was perfect for us, <10min walk to Albert Hall and <5min to lots of bars and pubs for food. Hotel is a work in progress upgrading from hostel to a hotel but we knew that on booking. So no surprises and a lovely door out to a balcony to let some much needed sunny spring air in (room 13 and we didn't care one bit). Kettle and tea/coffee and towels provided. Bed nice and clean and comfy, bathroom super clean and shower hot and fast. Looking forward to coming again and having breakfast there when works are complete. The building is lovely and the manager friendly and welcoming. We were 2 lone women on a birthday treat in London and it felt safe and cosy, thanks x

Only one glass and one tiny cup for tea provided, when there were 2 of us. Would've preferred a mug and one each, also some biscuits as no breakfast yet available 😉 Radiator pipes were banging in the night, cracked glass in window and vents had tape on them, hoping this is fixed on the current upgrades, but it wasn't winter so was OK temperature in the room and for the price and location it was OK by us.

Brilliant location and easy to get to on public transport. Friendly staff and helpful. The room was fairly basic but very comfortable - we both slept really well. Great shower. A good breakfast was included - not a massive selection but adequate choice and quality to cater for everyone in my opinion. Felt it was all very good for what we paid. We will definitely stay again if we are going to the Museums or the Royal Albert Hall.

The overhead light was gloomy (eco-bulb?) the lamps didn’t all work but the light from behind the headboard was lovely.
