Property & rooms were cute, bed comfortable. Friendly staff. Helpful

No front desk staff available at check-in. The shower faucet was not working properly, and they were unable to fix it during our stay. No help was available. It took some time to get it turned on. Christy tried to fix it, didn't have the right tool.

The property was nice, different from typical motels, almost like staying in little cottages. The property is nicely landscaped and maintained; clearly well taken care of. Parking is right outside your door. At breakfast we spoke with a couple who were staying at the motel longer term and they said this was the best motel in the area by far (and there are quite a few to choose from). The desk staff were considerate and efficient. We did not use the pool so cannot comment on it. We were there just one night while passing through.

Others should know that the motel is near the railroad tracks and trains come through quite regularly. Despite this, the train noise is not much at all; much less noise than many hotels located near airports. I was surprised how quiet it was. The trains do not blow their horn. The windows and doors must be quite good quality. The bathroom fan was on the noisy side, louder than any passing train. Breakfast is nothing to write home about, but gets the job done. Waffles, cereal, hard boiled eggs, breakfast pastries, coffee, juice.

The room was okay and had everything I needed. I liked the small fridge. Housekeeping didn’t come in every day, which I preferred for more privacy. The room isn’t very big, but it’s enough for a short stay.

Breakfast was included and was okay, but many times there wasn’t enough food, and they didn’t refill it in time. There were only three tables for the whole hotel, so it was often hard to find a place to sit.

It was clean right off the highway. The staff was super friendly. I really loved that real food was being served for breakfast. I’m a Rodeway fan anyway when I travel because I’m a travel nurse and I just want comfort. The room has all that I need to make a stay pleasant either for a night or 3 months. Keep up the good work here on my way back home depending on the drive I will be back again!!!!

Except for the wifi, I would have rated this place a 10. The staff were exemplary and friendly. The parking was perfect. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The shower was gigantic. Lots of hot water. The price couldn't be beat. Highly recommended.

The wifi was abysmal and caused me to have to use up 80% of my monthly hot-spot data. This seems to be a trend of lodging using Macrotech wifi hot spot as a provider, which is wholly insufficient to meet the needs of lodgers.

Beautiful rooms, a TV that's actually big enough to see, fridge with freezer, pool, great social areas, simple but tasty breakfast, for under $90 in California?!? One of my favorite stays in this failed state!

Ice costs $.25 cents for half a bucket... not even worth mentioning... it's California... there is a $.50 charge for my giving this review...

Just remodeled and was such a pleasant surprise. When we first pulled in we were thinking we made a big mistake. When we walked through our room door we were shocked. We loved our stay there. Such a clean and cute property

Parking a bit cramped but, car right outside your door. They can’t do anything about the parking but, they worked it out and totally worth the stay.

Friendly; worked with me on looking through Expedia, Booking.com etc. to help me get the best price. Rooms surprisingly nice with nice decor (stayed 2 nights, different rooms).

I thought the continental breakfast was open at 6 AM; I came to the breakfast room at about 6:30 and the door was locked. Maybe I am mistaken about the hours>

The staff are always very nice and helpful and the property itself is clean And I noticed they had a hydraulic lift for handicap to go into the pool really awesome you don’t see that too many places

Not that we didn’t like it about the property it was just their parking is a little tight but there was plenty of parking

Super clean room, comfy bed, nice places to relax outdoors if it had been cool enough. I liked the style of the room. Especially liked the refrigerator with a separate freezer that could actually freeze my ice packs. Highly recommend!

The pet fee was a surprise, but not a big deal. Still worth it.
