This place is amazing! Perfect central location in Duong Dong and beachfront hotel, near restarurants, shops/supermarkets and a bus stop. Breakfast is very various with a wide food/drink options. Perfect customer service, a place itself looks like a garden! Great facilites with pools, beach restaurant and another one which is perfect for a dinner. Room was very spacious, clean and with great interior. For sure if we travel to Phu Quoc, we will choose Cassia Cottage! Thank you so much!

There is no such a thing! All is perfect! :)

Loved it all. From the yoga, to the massage, to the beautiful kind staff...we loved it all. Quoc in the Spice House was so kind and friendly. We would love to come back one day!

Nothing at all.

Where do I start, we loved every minute of our stay at Cassia Cottage. The staff were so friendly & welcoming, I can't remember all their names but they made us feel so special & went above & beyond. I remember Thi who was so attentive at breakfast & helped with my gluten free requirements, she was so professional. The owner & his son welcomed us when we arrived & were on site every day, they too were so accommodating & friendly. Our accommodation was beautiful, overlooking the pool with a sea view, I would sit on the patio with a coffee in the morning watching the fishing boats & listening to the waves whilst soaking up the beautiful surroundings, pure bliss. Watching the sunset from the beach bar was breath taking, most evenings a singer performed on the lawn by the beach bar, which made it even more special. The breakfast was extensive with so much choice of fresh produce on offer. We ate at the restaurant a few evenings, each time the food was to an exceptional standard & so much variety to choose from. The location was perfect, straight onto the beach & only a short amble up to the restaurants & shops on the island. We had the most perfect stay, thank you to everyone at Cassia Cottage for making our holiday so special.

We really loved our stay at Cassia Cottage. The room was large and beautiful with a great shower with plants and palms at the side. We had a lovely view of the garden, restaurant and sea. The Spice Restaurant was also very Colonial in style with great food, and the staff were amazing, friendly, and always ready to talk and help if needed. The bed was very comfortable and because I had a fractured pelvis it really helped to accelerate my healing. The infinity pool was also lovely and clean and delightful to swim in .We would thoroughly recommend this beautiful Hotel.

Really nothing to criticise except the rainy weather in June.

The Spice Restaurant had better food than what we could find outside the hotel.

That is a very calm and wonderful place, which has own beach. Not only the beach, but also the pools area is very nice and peaceful. When you are walking on the park of the Cottage, you feels like in a small jungle. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We are sure that our room was larger than it was advertised (more than 23 m2). The breakfast was also very good (Vietnamise, Continental and English breakfast, as well). Just about 200 meters there is a main street with lots of restaurants. On the way to the main street there was a very good Restaurant (Sunlight) where fresh grilled seafood was always available. Although we booked this accomodation for 3 nights, we extended our stay there for 2 more nights.

The location was in a great spot, within walking distance of everything you needed. The premises was beautifully green and well kept without looking overly manicured. The rooms were very generous in size and they provided beautiful products to use in the shower and bathroom. The restaurant had a great outlook over the pool and ocean and provided delicious nutritious food and the breakfast was amazing. Warm bread cooked on the premises and so many other products made on site. If you are visiting Phu Quoc, I would definitely recommend this property.

There are not many things not to like here. If I had to be picky, some of the walk ways around the property were slippery when wet and some of the guest relations staff were a bit too keen on upselling their on site spa and asking a lot of questions and then not remembering you and doing it all over again the next time you were in the restaurant. These were minor issues and did not ruin the overall very enjoyable stay.

I want to say that this was the best accommodation we stayed at in Vietnam. Our room was big, the bathroom was very spacious as well. We really enjoyed the breakfast - there were a lot of options, amazing bread and an egg/pancake station - where the food was prepared fresh. The property itself is very beautiful - garden with trees, everything was clean. Suggestions: There could be a TV in the room, since in our visit it was raining everyday, it would be nice to have TV. The hairdryer could be updated - after some time the hairdryer got very hot and would not turn on (have to wait long time to be able to turn it back on). There could be a closet in the room, so that there would be space to store clothing

We had room 1D, a Standard Double Room with Sea View. It’s not right on the beachfront but overlooks the immaculately kept gardens and the beach, which you can glimpse through the palm trees. But be warned: Rooms 1A to 1D have a shared terrace and are right next to the children’s pool, so if you’re looking for total seclusion you may not get it. However, our neighbours were lovely (Swedish couple who have booked the same room every year for 11 years!!) and we were not troubled by noisy nippers during our stay. The private beach has soft sand and is kept spotless, with comfy sun loungers and big umbrellas. Palm-shaded garden area behind has beautiful plants, tinkling streams and rock gardens, hammocks, and big round beds with cushions, plus a small beach bar (which opens only from 4pm to 6pm - should be longer IMHO). On the beach next to the bar, a trio of local ladies not connected to Cassia Cottage offered by far the best and cheapest massages we found during our three weeks in Vietnam - the wife went 3 times in 2 days and paid only 200,000 dong for an hour of full body/head massage with liberal application of oils and aloe vera. They were amazing. The hotel’s Spice House restaurant is in a lovely colonial-style building with large terraced area outside overlooking the main pool. Breakfast and dinner were invariably excellent, with massive choice of Asian and western foods. Staff were lovely and even organised us a taxi to nearest opticians at 9pm for an emergency spectacles repair! We loved Cassia Cottage. It’s not cheap by Vietnam standards but you get what you pay for. We’re already planning a return visit - and will definitely be taking at least 6 days next time (see below)

The only disappointment was that we initially booked 6 nights but then had to reduce it to 2 nights - and the room rate was doubled!!

Amazing property - a former spice traders plantation. The owner has managed to create a wonderful setting, full of character, in a relaxed setting with a very chilled vibe. It’s a boutique eco-friendly sustainable property, which never feels busy and a place where you can fully unwind. The staff are amazing and the restaurant is one of the best on the island.

Absolutely nothing …
