It is a friendly place, excellent for exploring Mechelen for its location in the centre of the city. The staff is competenet, helpful and cheerful. My room was surprisingly spatious, old-school-looking. Very calm, despite overlooking the street. You see some worn out elements looking closer at furniture or the walls but it is not a flaw - rater adds to te charm. Complementary tea/coffee and water in the room. Reasonable price compared to other offers available at the time of booking.

It was a bit too hot in the night and the air condition system seemed to be fixed centrally and I could not regulate it.

The member of staff who was apologetic that our original room wasn't ready found a solution in upgrading us after we'd returned to check in a second time. The location is perfect for the liveliest areas of Mechelen whilst the city falls asleep very early and wakes very late... no noise issues at all. Everything was clean and the hotel is small and modern. Breakfast is excellent.

There wasn't anything about our stay that was unpleasant.

Steven was great on reception and got us checked in early. We had forgotten to take our two pin converter plug with us, so we borrowed on from Steven. The car park is not an easy access for large cars as the ramp down is steep and bends sharply. The rooms were fine for our stay.

The room we were give was getting a little tired and getting ready for a refresh. The window frames needed some TLC.

Lovely clean room, good selection for breakfast to cover all tastes, location great for being central, but be warned the weekend of 24th and 25th August is Maanrock Europe's only free rock festival and its held in Mechelen really well organised but music from Jazz, cover bands and thrash metal until late and busy.

Location is excellent in the heart of the town.

I couldn't work the aircon do it was a little warm in the room in May. The property faces the busy way into the market place so leaving the windows open is tricky. The property is dated altogether and wouldn't benefit from a refurb.

I had been in an NH Hotel in Brussels and cannot recommend that, BUT this Mechelen NH hotel was fine: big room, very clean, good bed, good location near restaurants and main part of town. Nice reception staff. Goof value.

I liked everything about the property but the staff was exceptional from the cleaning staff to the receptionists. Facilitated me greatly being a lone traveller with two dogs and allowed for a late check out so I wouldn’t have to wait too long for my plane at the airport

There is not one thing I didnt like. Best hotel experience I’ve had in a long time

The hotel is located at a relative small, quite square, near the city center and 10-15 minutes walk from the main train station. My room was good and gave a nice few on the square. The nearby city center has a rich history and many places to eat and drink.

The offerings during the breakfast are basic, tho sufficient, and not a reason to pick this hotel. You can rent a bike, but expensive.

The location is perfect if you want to stay close to the city centre. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable.

I couldn't work the aircon and, if you open the windows, you face a rather busy street which is just too loud. The building and its furnishings are a little dated now.

In 15 minutes walking distance from the railway station. And also close to the main square (Grote Markt). Thanks to air conditioning in the room it was pleasant even on a hot day (ice cream shop just across the street). Big windows out onto the street, but the noise did not bother me. I loved watching people cycling to work while sitting at the breakfast table. And Mechelen is definitely worth another visit!
