The hot-springs resort with beautiful mountain backdrop provided a good value for family leisure. The room was spacious with good natural light and comfortable beds.

The hotel facilities do show their age. The carpeting both in rooms and common spaces could use a refresh. Some of the furniture visibly water stained and chipped. The indoor spa/gym facilities seemed musty and uninviting - as did much of that lower level. We also arrived during a precautionary "boil water" order which added the inconvenience of trips to the lobby water-cooler.

Spacious room off lodge building, with comfy beds; enjoyed the robes and pool towels; spend a lot of time in the guest only hot tub and small Nordic style pools. I liked the slightly shabby lodge-type feeling and we took full advantage of the pools.

There was no fan in the bathroom. Re: food - I tried to call ahead to book at the restaurant, but no one ever answered the phone, so we had our meals in the bar. The first night was great - we always have starters instead of mains: the house salad and the pulled beef sliders were terrific. But the second night we ordered pizza - inedible. How is it possible to have a crust that is simultaneously too tough to cut and undercooked in places? And the mezze starter had good elements, but was ruined with tough, uninspiring pitas. We liked the egg + avocado toast breakfast but the second morning it came stone cold. Surely the catering could improve. Hire some independent contractors, maybe put in a Japanese restaurant - surely it can much be improved.

Breakfast good, waitress excellent. Our room faced south and we had a lovely view of the pools, grounds, and the mountains. Good central location, easy drive to Invermere and Radium. Several golf courses in the area.

Waiting for a call to say our room was ready. We’re told 15-20 min. After half an hour we still didn’t a call and we sat in the lobby watching the line up of other guests being checked in to their rooms. So we got back in line and were given the keys! I don’t see how the people who are busy checking in guests have the time to make calls to alert waiting guests that their room is ready.

Celebrated our anniversary and we will be doing it yearly! The facilities were incredible, all the "guest only" zones were clean and really well stocked. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The carpet needs a good cleaning but other that, the restaurants were great. Saturday late afternoon we did the Bear Den Pub and Grill and our waitress was amazing! Saturday night the Antlers restaurant and our food was prompt and delicious the waitress was also amazing! Sunday we had breakfast at Antlers and while the food was great. Inveremere lake is only 15 minutes away and was so nice being the 2nd weekend of September! We wish we had more time for mini-golf, horse back riding and just relaxing!

Sunday we had breakfast at Antlers and while the food was great, we wanted to sit on the patio and the waitress said she didn't want to serve us with wasps and then was quite rude the whole experience, very dismissive and took forever to come and take our order, rolled her eyes when I asked for a cappuccino. The carpet in the hallways should be replaced as it is quite old. Other than that, it was a well need weekend away!

The staff were all friendly. They had a large storm in area the night before we arrived. Powerlines were knocked down and the resort had no power during the night and until late afternoon. The staff was good at explaining situation to guests. They did their best at check in time to catch up after a chaotic day for them.

It had been years since I have been at the Fairmount Hot Springs resort. The property is aging and shows it. Our room was pretty beat up and dated. I was given the heads up when I spoke to hotel directly what to expect. The type of room I book is designated as pet room by hotel, but I do not recall seeing this detail on the Booking.Com description.

I liked that we were close to the hot springs and could easily walk back to our room when done and have a shower. We also had a room with a kitchen because my daughter has allergies and does not trust the food she is eating. The stove, older fridge, sink, microwave, mini kitchen and cupboards made it easier to prep food for my daughter.

The lineup for check in was a little crazy at 4pm and only 2 staff members were in the lobby. A suggestion is to have a virtual map feature on a screen in the lobby to help assist with a faster intro explanation. While the customers stand in line, they would see the map of the hotel and they would have a lot less questions at check in time. It would be nice if these Juniper Pine lodge places were renovated. I would have loved to have an oven as well in the kitchen and an updated fridge.

The staff were amazing from the front desk through to the many lifeguards posted at the public hotspring pools. The temperatures were warm but not unpleasantly hot (the Banff pools, which I'm more used to, can be akin to boiling yourself like a lobster - if you're into that, this might not be warm enough for you).

I wouldn't go so far as to say "I didn't like it" but I did find these things amusing: - The public pools do indeed have a view of some mountains, but also a good chunk of the RV parking lot - I opted to get a room with a "garden view" instead of the "pool view", which turned it to be the patch of grass between the building and the parking lot. It's a decent amount of space so I still got to look at something green, but I did think it was funny.

I absolutely love fairmont hot springs as I have been there many many many times but I have never stayed in the lodge. The room was very nicely decorated and very comfy! Loved the beds very comfortable! I wish the prices to stay were a bit more affordable as I would love to come and stay more often! The pool is amazing, I have been literally been coming for 55 years!

The only thing I was disappointed with was the dining choices, we went with my 3 grandbabies (5, 3, and 1 year old) and the antler restaurant really didn’t have the best choices for them at a good price point.

Room was pleasant and comfortable, well maintained but dated. Facilities were nice and convenient but again dated. Nice to have a small fridge in the room, the local market by the highway was handy. The mini-golf in the woods was fun but clearly not maintained at all. We liked the setting with the views over the Columbia Valley. We were hear to bike to Mecklin-McPhail bike trail up to Invermere and thought it was a good experience staying at Fairmont HS.

Shower in the room was weak, one of the queen mattresses in room 587 needed replacing. Food in the Antler's Dining Room was fair.

This place has always been our favorite to stay whenever we visit Fairmont. Staff were friendly, and the place had almost everything we needed, whether it's dining or activities to do. We specifically go here when we think of hotspring and relaxation

The only issue I had from this trip was that the tub in the bathroom was not draining, and one of the light bulbs from the side table burnt out Overall, a good stay.
