Great location. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Comfy beds. Secure parking close to the hotel (available for a fee). Standard room amenities included. Hot water with good pressure. Good breakfast with a quaint seating area.

No elevator. Vehicle parking logistics is a little involved. Didn't realize ahead of time that the reception closes at 9 PM - be sure to indicate your check-in time when you book so they can accommodate accordingly.

Perfect quiet location, very close to the main streets, bars, restaurants, shops and attractions. Excellent driving instructions provided by innkeeper. Great breakfast in a very nice dining area. The owner is helpful, friendly and humorous. If you have a car, the private parking garage for 30 euros per day is well worth it. (Trying to find a parking spot in Rothenburg would be very difficult.) The town is great, full of fun features. It is a simple, mostly flat walk from this hotel to all attractions. The entire facility... room, restaurant and lobby area are very clean. Small bar provides evening drinks.

Small shower with fluctuating water temperature. We were on top floor with no elevator... but no big deal. I highly recommend this great little hotel.

We spent a week at this hotel during the Christmas season. The location to the markets could not have been any closer. Our room was very nice, not too big and not too small. The breakfast was a very nice addition and kept us full until dinner time. The owners are delightful and very happy to have Americans stay as their guests. It gets busy during the day with the tourist buses but, when they leave, you will have the town to yourself. It's very calm and peaceful.

Our family was very satisfied. It was located in the center of Rothenburg, and since it was run by a family, they were friendly and the service was good. As for the service, I was able to eat apples at any time, and the courtesy of providing each person with a bottle of cool water upon check-out was nice. In addition, even though it is located in the city center, there is a separate parking lot, so the parking problem was easily resolved (however, you need to check this when you arrive at the hotel). It was a good memory of the beautiful city of Rothenburg. It was a city and hotel that I would want to visit again next time. thanks, And here's the important thing. The faces of the people having dinner at the SONNE Hotel looked very bright and in a good mood. I found this hotel to be very good at cooking. I recommend eating at the SONNE Hotel.

everything was satisfactory There is no parking at the hotel. The hotel's private parking lot is located in the blue building at the corner of the square. You must be fully aware of these benefits. After entering the hotel on Google Maps, you will arrive at the parking lot entrance. It's a bit of a hassle to have to park there, go to the hotel, and ask for the password.

Location was great, the room and bathroom were clean and the breakfast was good.

Our room wasn’t soundproof so we could hear the next door guest talking on the phone.

Even before arriving at the Hotel Sonne, the manager communicated with me as I have some medical issues, and he made accommodations to assist my wife and I. The Hotel is right in the middle of everything. The restaurant is wonderful for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you have a car, the garage is right around the corner and very easy to get to. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. 5 stars service

The only thing I didn't like was I didn't plan more time in Rothenburg.

We loved how central to all of the sites in Rothenburg ob der Tauber this hotel was. The hospitality was great and seemed so genuine. Aletta was fabulous and helpful as were all the staff. Great breakfast and restaurant also. Friendly atmosphere and help with our bags up and down the stairs which was very appreciated.

The only minor difficulty was the corner shower which was small and hard to get in and out of especially for older people.

Exceptional stay at Hotel Sonne Rothenburg obT! Location is fantastic for a visit to this special place. Staff was wonderful, always helpful and easy to work with. Breakfast (included) was delightful! Dinner at the Hotel restaurant was wonderful too - compliments to the chef and staff! Communications and questions were responded to promptly and cheerfully. Highly recommend!

A beautiful location and wonderful family-owned facility. The food for dinner and breakfast are wonderful and we have a special vegan, gluten free diet. The hotel and staff are very accommodating. Note: I would have rated a 10, but the first night was warm (no AC) and the bathroom was not ventilating as it should; however, the staff fixed the ventilation issues the following day. Even without any complaints on our part. Well done, Hotel Sonne!

It was rather warm the first night, but then cooled off the second night. No AC.

The hotel was very cozy. It is a protected building. All details taken care of. Very nice restaurant. The triple room was big with great windows to the awesome street. The location could not be better. One block from the market plaza. The staff were very friendly and the check in and out was easy super easy and fast. Breakfast was awesome!!! I would recommend it. Definitely I would love to come back
