It is a very easy drive from the airport, no more than 20 minutes. I think there are eight rooms. We stayed in room one, which is spacious and nicely decorated and furnished. There is a small patio outside. The room is light but has an impression ceiling blind to create black out at night. There is a free standing bath plus a good sized shower. Staff are excellent and getting in and out of the city centre is very easy by tram (you buy tickets via the tram app). It is quiet and we slept well. Breakfast was excellent. Please note that their restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday, so we didn’t have the opportunity to eat there. We will be staying here again at the end of our holiday and I’m pleased that we are doing so.
Very little! The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and there is not much that you can walk to. That being said there is a family oriented Italian restaurant five minutes away where we enjoyed our first night’s meal. PS. Check the location carefully. Our satnav struggled. The entrance is discrete.

We have stayed here before so I’ve already done one review. This time we had a top floor room accessed via a stone spiral staircase. Still a nice room but not as big as the ground floor room. Nicely decorated. The restaurant is shut on Sunday and Monday, but this time (Saturday) we got to eat there. It was really good and was our last meal after three weeks in France. My wife, who doesn’t eat meat and was sometimes challenged when it came to choice, said this was our best meal. Don’t miss it!
I don’t think they should charge for car parking when you are paying a significant room rate.

We wanted to stay somewhere nicer but close to the BOD airport. We read the reviews and this charming petite 17c monastery lived up to expectations. The best was the restaurant - mentioned in the Michelin guide (I am happy it does not have a star yet because it makes it just as good and more approachable). The hotel is buried in the bustling suburb of Le Bouscat - bikes, cars, kids going to school - so be prepared with your car to navigate the little busy streets. But somehow you enter the garden and all of that is left behind. An oasis of calm and serenity. Rooms and restaurant impeccably and uniquely decorated to a high standard. All of it was great, and 15 min from the airport the next morning. They also have AC in the hot summers. We will go back!
It was a little pricey for the lower season, but still very worth it. Breakfast options ranged from expensive to just coffee and pastry for 15EUR. We had the French press coffee in the room then decided to get breakfast at the airport. Dinner was also pricey but very worth it. For the dinner - it seemed all the dishes has asparagus (I don't like asparagus but ate it anyway and they did it very well, but I was surprised at all of the asparagus. Season menus are understandable, so not really a complaint, just personal). You definitely get what you pay for.

The hotel was very pretty and the staff were so friendly and attentive. It was their mission to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The restaurant food was delicious too! Our room was a good size with a big comfy bed, perfect for lazy mornings.
There were lots of mosquitoes in the garden which were a bit of a nuisance around the pool and whilst eating outside. The hotel staff were aware of this though and provided repellant for free.

Our plane was delayed which meant that our check in was quite late. In spite of this (and arriving at the tail end of a full Valentine's supper service) we were warmly welcomed. Our hosts could not have been more attentive and helpful - offering room service and drinks at the bar. Our room was absolutely beautiful - nothing had been overlooked, with numerous small and thoughtful touches (artisan coffee, small flasks containing gorgeous tipples). It was impeccably clean and luxurious. The bed was the kind that you don't wish to get out of. We had a terrace with chairs and table (and ashtray - further evidence that our hosts had thought of everything and genuinely wanted us to have a relaxing time.) This boutique hotel was absolutely fabulous and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break (they have a spa too.) Perfect

Close to the city, beautiful decor, comfortable beds and great shower! Dinner and wine were excellent. Staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. Took a genuine interest in our stay suggesting places to visit and asking how our day was.
Housekeeping was a bit hit or miss. For example, some nights we had water refills, some nights not. Some times we had clean flannels, some days not. Tissues were not refilled etc. A simple correction and nothing major but to be expected for the price/quality of hotel.

This is one of the most beautiful and well designed hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms are absolutely stunning - really cosy and luxurious - but they’re nothing compared to the restaurant and terrace/pool area. It is so tranquil with perfect touches like strawberry bushes and super comfy sun loungers. Every single member of staff that we encountered was extremely open, helpful, and friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our requests. It’s really easy to get to the centre of Bordeaux on the tram which is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The wine list is also exceptional. We will 100% be coming back here.

Beautiful hotel , nicely decorated & spacious rooms and kind & attentive staff . Tram station nearby made getting in and out of city center easy
Whilst beautiful boutique hotel this is not a 5 star hotel as it lacks facilities & amenities. Limited snack options while restaurant was closed Sunday & Monday . Breakfast was tasty but expensive considering options & quantity

The hotel is a beautifully restored chateau with a swimming pool and terrace. We were warmly welcomed by the staff who took our luggage up to our room for us. Our room is big, spacious and lavishly furnished. It had a view of the pool. We booked the evening meal with 4 courses and it was one of the best meals of our whole trip. The flavours and presentation were incredible. Bravo to the chef!
Suggestion to include parking in the cost of the room and to offer to park cars outside the gate if the lot is full. (It's quite small)

A little piece of heaven, they are dedicated, attentive and it s a little like a house party with friends not a hotel. The food, particularly the breakfast was heavenly. The outdoor pool was magical, and ideal for hot days. A perfect location, close to Bordeaux but with a suburban, village feel.
In honesty, nothing.
