Close to Christmas market. Parking on sit. Large room with great shower

The apparent manager, Marco, was working out of a restaurant across the street where check in was conducted and key provided. When no one was at the hotel I called the property directly for direction but the message was in German only. I did not see additional instructions on their website. Fortunately a young worker came by and pointed us to the restaurant. I did try messaging the property directly early in the morning before arrival but there was no response. Clearly, communication could be improved

The location is great. It is right in the heart of the action and has a great atmosphere around it. With that comes the associated noise level. The room itself was clean and a decent size. The bed was also very comfortable.

Even though the room was a decent size, there was no space to open our suitcase that didn't restrict movement around the bed. In my opinion, there is too much non-essential furniture in the room (more wardrobe space than most other hotels I've stayed in, 3 chairs and a long desk. It made the room feel small and difficult to get around if you have a big suitcase.

Location, it is right in the middle of old town and to get a hotel with off street parking is such a bonus as we were travelling our bikes and we couldn't leave them in the car in the street. The parking is tight but we got our Peugeot 5008 in and out ok, but it is tight. The location makes it a winner.

Was not obvious the the reception was in the restaurant across the road, but they were very helpful. Wifi wouldn't play.

Great location. The apartment is not where the hotel location is listed. The apartment is on the main street with everything right at your doorstep. The apartment has everything you need and is very clean. Kitchen equipped with good coffee maker with good basic cooking equipment. Beds comfortable. This is a great home base for a group looking to have fun in Bamberg. Three breweries right at your door and other restaurants, clubs and bars all right there.

We loved everything but this would not be the place if you want out of the way and quiet. it was not that noisy inside but was right on the street with a lot of people which was perfect for us but may not be for everyone.

We were right in the heart of many of the sights in Bamberg. We were 100m from the Bamberger Dom for example. We had a nice large room. Very quiet!Easy to find

It would be nice if you could reserve a car park space at the time of booking. This is not a deal breaker though, since there is a great parking garage a pleasant 5 minute walk away.

Location was great. Right in town. Parking right underneath which was a bonus. The place was pretty modern.

Had trouble finding the place. You had to check in across the road at another hotel which we didn't know about. No airconditioning. Wifi wasn't good. kept going in and out. The pillows were too soft and uncomfortable. The shower was a little small

Great location!!! Large spaces and great kitchen. Friendly staff and everything we needed including extra towels were in the room. Very comfortable beds and pillows except the extra one for the fifth person.

Hard to check in-confusing where to go. Was told to go to restaurant but the closest restaurant to building pictured online wasn’t the right one. Street noise in one of the bedrooms-understandable because it’s in the Main Street with restaurants and bars. Maybe provide a fan to drown it out. Expensive parking but room was good price.

When we arrived I did not receive an email of booking instructions, I called and was instructed to pick up the keys from the pub opposite called Scheiner's Am Dom. I was greeted by a very helpful young man (did not catch the name) and checked in. We arrived to our room and it was very cosy, the bed was comfy, and they had a nespresso machine with pods, a very nice touch to have decent coffee! The hotel is in a great central location in the heart of Bamberg with great access by foot to the town. Before arrival, communication through booking was great, the host kept us updated that the hotel is in a central location of Old Town and could be very busy and loud during holidays (All Saint's Day) and difficult to access by car. However the double glazed windows kept the noise out and we slept very well.

The only points would be the shower head holder was broken and did not hold in place, and the toilet could have been in a cleaner condition on arrival.

Fabulous old town location. We stayed in apartment near the main building. Really comfy furniture, bedding etc. Very well equipped kitchen

The only improvement I could suggest is fans in the bedroom. With global warming summers are just going to keep getting hotter and the building is really hot with windows closed and a bit noisy ( being fabulously close to the action) with windows closed.

We could not get any closer to the Bamberger Dom than this hotel, absolutely fabulous location. The restaurant across the street serves a proper dinner as well as smoked beer! When we stayed there, the hotel did not serve breakfast so we went to the local bakery around the corner which we would not have wanted to miss for the life of it! We strolled a bit around the Dom and old town square before we continued our journey. Must go there again!

Parking space was not available so we had to park in the street and get up early to start paying at the machine.
