Hotel is in a decent location - about 1km walk from Asahikawa station. It is a quiet area too. Staff are friendly and helpful and they provide a lot of free amenities for guests too. Free corn tea in the afternoon and evenings and free coffee in the morning. Although we did not use the onsen, we noticed it was popular with many of the guests in the hotel. Hotel is a good base for anyone intending to rent a car and drive around in the area

Room is a little small but still comfortable. The lifts can be a bit slow. Nearest konbini is still about a 7 min walk away and not many food options open near the hotel - but the hotel has a useful map that shows many recommendations near the hotel

Looking for several hotel and finally I decided to stay here due to the quality of interior and the size of the room unit. After 5 hours drive from airport because of the heavy snow in Iwamizawa, we arrived almost at 5 o’clock in the afternoon after dark, but the interior of lobby space gave me the feeling of nostalgia of European Christmas. Room unit is remodeled recently but the environment of typical floor shows OMO7 might be renamed from another brand before. The spa I have enjoyed was very good because of the condition of hot and chilled water and sauna even though the facility was quite old. Especially I’d like to give best point to the dining of breakfast because of the quality of the served foods and the environment of the dining space.

Parking lot service. It would be better to introduce to the guest with written message how to use and how to refund for the parking expense.

This is a lovely warm hotel with characters. I think the hotel may have been refurbished from an old hotel/building before it became Hoshino's hotel as you can see some parts of the building and some features in the room is quite old fashioned and outdated. Nevertheless, it was tidy and clean and functions perfectly. Their staffs were all very friendly, they take the initiative to help out when my family wants to take a photo in the lobby, and without us asking, they made recommendations for restaurants nearby, which saved us time on researching on during the New Year time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who are visiting Asahikawa and would go back to stay there again in a heart beat.

Whimsical Halloween decor and lots of stuffed animals and animal themes in lobby. There’s also a small library in lobby to sit at with a large cafe as well. Staff is super helpful and patient. The 5th floor bar was also nice to chill at before bath and bed with wood fires and open-air. There is free coffee in the mornings with self-service expresso machine near cafe.

The bathroom in the rooms are a bit outdated and there could be better air circulation in the hallways and rooms especially since the windows don’t open and A/C was off for fall/winter season (but high temps were still about 20c and afternoon makes it feel 25-27)

staff was nice and helped us with the check in process. The 3 beds room was spacious that we were really happy about it. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices e.g. waffles, sashimi rice. very modern design and newly renovated

we booked two rooms - 2 beds and 3 beds room. the double bedroom was very small that you could not really open your suitcase. Should have a coffee machine at the buffet area as well (only got one at the lobby). Although newly renovated, you could still see that the design was quite old on the upper floors but it was not a very big problem for us.

Omo 7 is a super place that genuinely warrants an ace review. It has a real focus for skiers which is why we stayed there. There's a free "wax" station in reception so you can prep your skis or snowboard, there's a free bus - yes free although you have to reserve a seat - to take you to Kamui - one of the local ski areas. Staff could not be more friendly and helpful. The breakfast is stella - western and Japanese - and the hotel has a great bath/onsen, too. Ideal to soak away achey muscles after a hard day blasting about on piste. The rooms are comfortable and the big bonus - a night for two people was circa £100. So...SUPER value for money. There's nothing not to like. GO THERE.

My only advice to the hotel is to upgrade the boot drying equipment. It's a minor point but key when the ski room is packed.

Checking in was easy. The staff’s English was excellent, at the end of the stay I had misplaced the parking receipt from the beginning of the stay. The front desk staff physically walked out to the parking lot we used and called the parking company to let us out. She went above and beyond the customer courtesy I could have possibly asked for and let us out of the lot with no additional fees and was so polite even though it was clearly our mistake. The staff is amazing!

Loved it here. Such a great location in Asahikawa. And shuttles to all the ski fields. We loved our room layout and the great use of space. It was nice to enjoy the happy hour after skiing and a few snacks. Staff were really lovely and very helpful. Will definitely be back!

The breakfast was beautifully decorated, staff very helpful all dishes were fresh. Lots of choices.

I would have liked a chef that prepares eggs and fresh orange juice, or an option to order these items.

Great staff - english not so great but unbelievably attentive and tried really really hard to be helpful - breakfast was hard to fault - amazing variety - amazing quality - just exceptional all-round. Great spa/sauna/onsen - and great for the ski bus - probably too many greats in there but really the whole stay was great !
