The hostel is located by the ocean, with a beautiful view and just few minutes away by walk from Ariffana Beach. The atmosphere is friendly and chill, there is a bunch of common spaces and evening activities which helps to meet people. Its a big hostel, but well maintained with many bathrooms and cozy corners ;) It was a very pleasant place to get back to after a long trek by the coast. Wagner from the reception and cafe was very friendly and welcoming. And he also put on great music which made the stay even nicer :)

Whoever made the beds in women’s dorms seems to really hate the guests 😆 Its almost impossible to get on top of the bunk bed without hurting yourself, even for someone who enjoys climbing. I left with a couple of bruises because of the beds construction and the freakin’ „ladder”. Kitchen could be bigger and more guest friendly, it was difficult to find even a simple cup there. It was also a bit smelly because of stored old food.

The locatuon is great with ocean views right on the Fisherman’s trail. The rooms were spacious & clean, the beds comfortable, the shower strong and hot. We had great ocean views from our room. The breakfast buffet was great - it cost 10€ if not included in rm. We ate at the restaurant for supper. The menu is small but it had some vegetarian options for us. There is a nice patio area and a full bar. There is also a small pool but we didn't use it.There is a shared kitchen with a refrigerator but it was not very clean.

The shared kitchen was not clean and did not have a hot pot. There was a microwave, a stove top with pans available & a shared refrigerator. No coffee or hot pot in room.

This place is 100% Relaxed, laid back, chilled, right from being met by the staff. We brought our Cockapoo so had a double room and private bathroom, it was south facing with huge glass windows facing the pool, terrace and superb views of the sea and beautiful sunset, however had to keep the curtains closed to keep the heat out. We didn’t encounter noise at night. The room was larger than we expected, quite an old bathroom but powerful shower, shower gel/shampoo, small bar of soap and it was clean. The A/C and Wifi was great, comfy soft bed and pillows, mini-fridge in room ( no kettle). The Pet Policy is just as relaxed with a few local dogs strolling in and out of the garden/patio. Beer & wine cheap and we tried a couple of their speciality burgers and fries which were very tasty and great value. The local surfing beach is 10 minute walk ( downbank 😎) and worth a visit. Lots of free parking but go early. A few restaurants also close to the beach and only a 5 minute drive to the local town Aljazer - lots of free parking and some nice cafe’s and bars. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and would revisit.

only a small point - there was a Venetian blind for the huge window but the tapes had broken so it could not be pulled down.

Hostel was very nice, clean, good location, friendly stuff! ❤️ Here is just one HUGE problem what doesnt have anything together with hostel! You who know you snore, and you know it because you say it in the room before sleeping with eight other people!!!! I find it very inappropriate, stupid and disrespectful that you have no problem with it, all night long, to get 7 other people out of the room, so that you sleep like a baby and the others have a bad night and a ruined next day! 🤬 have a little respect for others and next time book accommodation for yourself, or sleep outside! thanks

The infrastructure is quite impressive. It has many common areas in which you can make yourself comfortable. I really enjoyed the terrace and the inside area for working and chilling. The coffee, burger and chicken salad are spot on.

I didn't like the beds frame. When I was climbing the stairs the top piece of agglomerate wood almost broke. If I had not let it go I would have broke it and fallen on my back.

Great location, a short walk to the beach and restaurants nearby. Staff were lovely. Person who check us in was very kind. Beautiful set-up of the coworking space. Parking in the back was nice to have. The bed we had was very comfortable and the ac worked well. Loved the room we had, (room #1 I believe) in the building beside the hostel (still was able to use the amenities), had 2 sets of patio doors so loved using the side one and felt we had great privacy there. Walked right out onto the 2nd pool too which was lovely. Water pressure was excellent. We had breakfast included in our stay and it was a good spread, warm croissants, buns, cheese, meat, salad, mini muffins, yogurt with toppings, bread with butter & Nutella, eggs, turkey bacon, juice, fruit.

The drains in the bathroom smell awful, had to keep the door closed at all times but being in there was not fun. Wish the eggs were attended to a bit more as I only got the last bits and tried waiting for more with no luck.

Fancy hostel- nice rooftop space to look out over the bay, and a small pool etc. Beautiful artwork in the stairwell made of recycled rubbish found in the sea. Well equipped kitchen, comfy and clean bedrooms. Excellent Brazilian acoustic trio played one night. Short walk down to Arrifana beach which is stunning. Recommend walking the Costa Vicentina north from here. Stunning coastal views on the way to Praia de Monte Clerigo.

The room was beautiful: in stead of one wall there was one big window with the view on the see. We enjoyed the happy hour in the restaurant (2 for 1) for drinks. We would definitely come back and use the co-working facility to work for some time from this amazing place. The staff was very pleasant.

The door lock was damaged and couldn’t be locked from inside. But it was not a big problem, the lady from the staff was very willing to help with this issue. But in spite of this problem, we didn’t feel insecure during the night. But it should be repaired.

The location was perfect, amazing view from the balcony. Coffee tasted great! The breakfast was super. They have a bar downstairs where you can have burgers, snacks and drinks. Everything tasted great. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

The windows were not soundproof, so whenever there were people talking outside until the late hours, we could hear everything perfectly. If you are looking for a quiet place, be aware that there are a lot of young surfers around all the time. Our room was next to some kind of kitchen ventilator, which caused consistent noise in our room. The room door didn't lock properly so when we left the room, you could actually open it without the keycard. When we went to sleep, we weren't sure if the door was locked or not.

Very good breakfast, comprehensive with fresh fruit, covering both American and continental breakfast items. The burgers here are also the best value for dinner around the area - the town centre is far away and there are no grocery stores around the area but this area is also where you have no choice to stop at if hiking the fisherman's trail, or wanting to surf at the beach. You can get water from the bar at less than it costs at other restaurants near the beach. The hostel decor is pretty nice too, and there's a pool which I didn't use but it's appreciated.
