Closeness to the Lake. Side by side rooms, views where awesome. Nice lobby and 24/7 coffee and juice. Quiet and very clean rooms. Loved that we had a frig in our room and that we could park right outside our room door.

Mattress sucked, but then I have a bad back, for others it might be ok There were gale force winds and the soffit and gutters banged all night the 2nd night we were there as the wind picked up. They should probably look into securing them more. Step up into the room was a bit high for those of us that aren't tall or for my mother who is older.

Loved the Room With A View of Lake Michigan and also balcony. Loved walking down the steps from room to the beach, walking along the beach and boardwalk, swimming with granddaughter in the water, and examining stones/rocks with her. Room clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and attentive--really appreciated their attentiveness. Liked parking directly in front of room.

Everything was perfect. The A/C worked. The shower had hot water and strong spray. Bed was comfortable. One chair had an arm that was coming apart and needs re-gluing, but that is really minor. Waterfront access was fantastic. Owner or staff were present to answer questions, get extra towels, etc. Too many places it is hard to find the front desk person but they were nearby promptly which I found refreshing.

Location was everything. Private balcony overlooking Lake Michigan, Private beach with fire pit and chairs. Listened to the waves all night. You pull your vehicle right up to your door. This is NOT a fancy place but comfortable.

Needed a hook on the bathroom door. Would have been nice to have something offered for breakfast, donuts?

The room was very clean. The staff was friendly. There is hot coffee available 24/7. Breakfast pastries were good and plenty there. Beautiful little beach with fire pits and chairs. I’ve machine was nice. Refrigerator was nice and cold. Variety of tv channels. Overall, a great place to stay in Kewaunee County.

Check in time is stayed as “3:00”, but our room wasn’t ready until 4:00. But, that was fine. We walked to the visitor center and loaded up on information about the area and visited with the nice visitor center host.

Nice and close to small beach can here the waves when you have windows open and see beautiful sunsets and the harbor channel red lighthouse

Lake flies had just hatched this weekend so keep your lights off when entering. More of just a nuisance than harmful to you!

The view and room

That I had to change rooms. I took care of husband, dad in past 4 years. And this was first time I got away to rest. And I wanted 3 nights just to be alone, read a book, but I got 1 room the first night , but had to pack up and move to get room I wanted for the next 2 nights.

The view in the room was spectacular. Shows our beautiful inland sea Lake Michigan. The Host was most pleasant and generous to us.

It’s a family owned place so it’s nicely appointed albeit some older sad furniture and owner repairing and upkeep.

Location was great. Several things need attention in the room. Pastries etc for breakfast are put out at 8am which seems late.

Attention to room detail....balcony door was very hard to open and close. Toilet seat was loose. Shower was difficult to operate.

There was no microwave in our room, but other rooms had one. They need to make an easier path to the beach right in front of the hotel, it’s nothing but boulders to walk down and you have to walk down a bit to get easier access. Moving some boulders out Of the way and just putting sand there would even help.

Location was incredible,no breakfast and the area smelled fishy moreso than many other places on the lake for some reason.

Lake didn't smell good they sprayed the room with some kind of oder blocker.
