Great place and location. Nice room with a fantastic view (room with lake view). Great location with short, really nice walk to the town along the lake. We enjoyed not to be accommodated in the center of the town, but to stay in this area with access to a nice pool (also with lake view), the lake and still close to the nice Malcesine town. Close to everything also only a short walk to the Malcesine Monte Baldo cableway. Good breakfast (also with a fantastic view from the breakfast room), and good parking facilities. Will definitely stay here again.

Nothing we did not like.

We had a warm welcome at Casa Marinella, it's a nice hotel and run from a passionate owner (and her dog). The family room isn't too spacious and a bit dark....but has a large balcony so kids can play outside and when the weather is warm it's perfect that way. Breakfast has everything you need and to have breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view on the lake....that's a perfect start in the day. The location is ideal for visiting Malcesine...it's a 15min walk away alongside the lake. Our favorite activity to walk to Malcesine for dinner in the evening or trips too the Monte Baldo or Limone. And we need to mention the pool, you can have a swim and look on the lake....that was phenomenal.

Every up- has also a downside. The large balcony in front of the family room is also the access route to the other family room. So you need to take into account, if you like having the curtains open....people passing by have a full view into the room.

We loved th location, it was a 15 walk along the river to the Old Town daily. After eating in lovely restaurants in the old town it was a magical walk back along the river at night. The view of the river from the hotel was so picturesque, it was awesome. The room was very big, bright and had comfy mattresses. It was spotless, with lovely matching furniture. The breakfast menu was great, it had such a variety of fresh food all you could eat and drink to set you up for the day. The staff were brilliant, so friendly, helpful and professional. One receptionist lady had a lovely friendly gentle dog that I loved spoiling every day, I loved it. Overall, after many long searches on Google for a Hotel that was walking distance from the Old Town was by far the best one we found. It was so romantic to walk by the river daily and was a good gentle exercise for us that suited our age at 60 years old. We have magical memories of Lake Garda and its amazing mountain range with a ten minute walk to the peninsula to go up to Mound Baldo or the bus station which is next door to Mount Baldo where we booked Coach trips to take us to the Dolomites mountains, Verona, Milan and Venice for the day which was seamless travel for us with a brilliant coach driver and Tour lady to attend to all our needs. I would highly recommend this hotel, it made our holiday perfect. It was quiet, we were able to have peacefully nights sleep with no noise disturbance which is exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. You will not be disappointed if you stay here, it made our holiday fab. We had parking at the hotel which always had a space free day or night, it was totally safe for us to leave our car all day whilst on bus tours. Enjoy your stay as much as we did.

The location is lovely, with a very nice pool plus a little beach area opposite where you can swim in the lake. The sisters who own it are really friendly and helpful Very good breakfast. Clean, and comfortable beds. Off road parking

I have to mention the steps! There is a steep slope from the road to the property, then about 40 steps to the reception area, and the same again to our room on the second floor I hate to be negative about this lovely hotel but the steps did impact our holiday as we are older and not as fit as we used to be. Just something to be aware of

Location - it's located right on the lake which means there's a fabulous view from the pool, breakfast room and balcony. It's just a 15min walk from the town centre. Staff are warm and friendly. The overall atmosphere is laid back, relaxed and calm. Breakfast is simple but offers lots of variety to cater for different diets and tastes.

There was only one socket in the room which the fridge was plugged into. I had to plug it out when I needed to charge my phone. As it was the only socket in the room, I could only charge or use one electrical device at a time which wasn't ideal. The only other socket was in the bathroom which the hairdryer was plugged into. This isn't a massive deal but it would have been nice to have known in advance so as to bring an extension socket.

We had a room with a balcony overlooking the lake and it was lovely. Waking up every morning to the view of the mountains surrounding the lake was breathtaking. In the evening we could sit and enjoy a drink looking out toward the lights from the town and the town across the lake. Location was great, walk into town was very close and was paved and flat. Buffet breakfast was varied and plentiful. Owners and staff were very friendly.

Would have been nice to have the use of an elevator to bring up our suitcases to our room on the second floor.

Casa Marinella is located in ideal location on across road from lake garde and a nice walk along promenade into Malcesine about 1km hotel and grounds are spotless and breakfast is good 2 girls are on the ball with everything and staff are excellent especially Martina who loves her job had the room done every morning when we down for breakfast

All good no complaints

It was very clean and room was spacious! Good accessibility to town (about 10min walk) and lovely staff

One day we approached the front door and a dog was barking and growling at us which was one of the hotel staffs dog, it made us a bit cautious about approaching, we tried to call out but no one came. The same dog was walking around at breakfast the next day, it seemed friendly but if we had been more afraid of dogs I wouldn’t have liked it.

The location was fantastic, right next to the lake with 17min walk to town centre. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room view was amazing as well. We booked a room with breakfast and it was worth the price.

The only thing that I would improve is the size of the shower. It was quite small which made it difficult to use. Other than that it was great.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean on arrival. The pool and outside areas were lovely. The breakfast room was clean and had great views. The breakfast was good. Coffee machine, juice, eggs, meats and cheeses, fruit, cereals, toast and pastries. The view from the room was beautiful and the balcony was great. The toiletries were good.

The room was basic, there was only 1 socket and this was for the minibar and kettle. There was a socket in the bathroom for the hairdryer but this is not enough for also charging phones and using other electrical equipment. We were given paper cups for tea and coffee and these were not replenished after the first day. The glasses were only rinsed out by the cleaner. The beds were not made each day though the cleaner came in each day and just threw the covers back over the bed, which was hardly worth the effort. There was a smell of drains in the bathroom. There is a steep slope and lots of stairs so would not be suitable for people who aren’t physically fit. There are dogs.
