Carolina our hostess was amazing and in contact as soon as I booked the apartment. This was my first trip abroad for a long time and my teenage daughters first. I had never booked things separately before so Carolina's contact was so helpful and reassuring whilst also striking a good balance at not overwhelming me. Carolina booked our taxi transfer for us from Verona airport, everything went smoothly from start to finish. We stayed at one of Carolina's apartments that was a 15 minute or so walk up the hill from the old town and it was perfect for us. The balcony view of the lake and mountains was outstanding. We had two complementary bikes to use and if we had been a bit later in the season there were tennis courts, a pool and olive tree gardens we could have enjoyed too. We loved the peace, quiet, clear air and hearing the cuckoo. The apartment was spotless, modern and well equipped. Carolina met us there, showed us round and gave us our bearings for what was going on in Malcesine. She was contactable if we needed anything in the week and she came to see us again as we were leaving. We loved Malcesine and all of the area, the weather was perfect too. Carolina showed us one of her family apartments in town and that was stunning, stylish and spotless too. We would highly recommend and hope to return soon.

Very clean apartment, fantastic views from every room and each room had a balcony. Beds are comfortable. Nice modern apartment. Friendly host with good recommendations of where to eat and places to visit, also discount vouchers for attractions were provided. Well equipped with everything we needed. Good air conditioning. Recycling facilities. Good central location for exploring Malcesine and surrounding area. Close to restaurants, shops, bus station, port, cable car, beaches, castle. Bikes were free to use. Cafe just underneath the apartment.

We were pleasantly surprised to be taken to an apartment about a 5-minute drive up from the town center rather than the in-town address shown in the listing. Apparently this property hostess manages several apartments. She meet us at a parking lot in town and we followed her to a quiet complex with a lovely pool and a great view from the balcony. The tidy apartment has a kitchenette with small stove, refrigerator, and microwave. There were plenty of dishes, glassware, and flatware, plus a few cooking pots/pans and other items for cooking. There was a futon/couch in the living area that could have accommodate another guest or two, and a nice-sized eating table. The bathroom was pretty standard size for Europe. We appreciated that there were two small fans as, with virtually all windows in Italy, there were no screens and we could not leave the windows and big sliding door open in the evening when bugs would be attracted to the inside lights. Carolina has a strong personality, and she was prompt and helpful with communication using both Whatsapp and the Booking messages. She also offered us a parking space near the town center if we wanted to park there while touring the town as well as offering suggestions for things to see and places to eat. Tip: Al Cervo is a very short walk and is great.

Two suggestions we'd make: - we cooked one dinner at the apartment and were not able to locate basic cooking supplies like salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar. These would have been nice to have - the WiFi worked fine in the living area but not on the balcony or in the bedroom. For example, we wanted to do a Skype call to our family on the balcony but were not able to.

Very Beautiful and calm place. People likes relaxing there and calm. There is very nice swiming pool, you can play tenis, youn can see Castle from balcony. Very good apartment good space, modern and really good place. We came by car, you have to go about 1,5km to the town isn ´t so close. But you can use bikes it is included in price. The owner of the apartment is very polite and give you advices where you should go. There is restaurant close to all resort.

It wasn ´t so close to the town

Location was superb, so close to the bus station and within walking distance to the cable car station. We borrowed bicycles from the affiliated bicycle shop for free. We also love the oversized terrace that was facing the mountain. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Beds and quilt were so comfy, like hotel standard. Aircon and showers were all functioning, as expected.

The hosts where very friendly and welcoming. The apartment is located very convieniently, right next to the "old town" in Malcesine and very close to Monte Baldo cable car. The parking space they have is a game changer if you're travelling by car, because finding a spot elsewhere is just impossible.

You have to clean the kitchen including washing dishes before leaving. I'd expect not doing it for that price.

Location was amazing, Malcesine is a beautiful town with lots of restaurants and shops right on the waterfront. Carolina was so helpful and friendly she really made our stay so special. We especially liked using the free bikes from the accomodation to cycle along the lake path. We would definitely recommend staying here!

The apartment is very modern and clean, with great views of the lake and the castle. It is located in the center of Malcesine, close to the bus station and supermarket. The lakefront with restaurants and bars is in a 3 minute walk. Free parking is offered. The host, Carolina and her son Federico, are very welcoming and friendly and provided great tips for exploring the area.

We had the best stay at Gardesana Active Apartments! We loved the view from the balcony so much that we rather made food and ate on the balcony than going out to a restaurant for dinner. The kitchen facilities were really great for this as well. The hosts were so friendly, kind, and helpful. The fact that you can use the bicycles for free was amazing! It's the most beautiful cycle along the promenade. Malcesine is such a lovely place to visit. All in all, very really loved this place, wish we stayed longer.
