Location is great. Located just behind IHOP, which is open 24 hours on Saturday. We didn't eat there, but was nice to know we had an all-night food option available if we did want a bite to eat. Located close to all shopping areas within a couple minutes. Casino is maybe 5 minutes away. Mall is across the street. Check-in was quick. Room was comfortable. We actually had enough pillows provided for once =) Room had a fridge which worked great to keep our drinks cold. Breakfast exceeded expectations. They had a waffle maker for fresh waffles that you make yourself. Also yogurt and Jimmy Dean breakfast type sandwiches, with juices, muffins and fresh fruit. We didn't try the waffles, but will definitely try on our next stay! We thought it was very well done and was a great start to the day!

James, at the Front Desk, was Very Nice, Friendly, Funny, Knowledgeable.. The Continental Breakfast was Perfect! I would have preferred a Freezer in the Refrigerator, and a Clothes Rack for Clothes on a Hanger..

The hotel is clean.

The front desk staff in the evening are very rude. The particular individual we dealt with would rather look that their phone instead of take the time to help us. Also the first night we stayed, two days before, my husband was not required to give any of his information since the reservations were in my name. This time we stayed, just two days later, he was required to identify himself. It was very odd, as if he was being profiled.

Clean and good choices for breakfast

Breakfast was good for the money. I had a breakfast sandwich (premade) everyday and was happy! Coffee was great! Slept like a baby on comfy and clean bedding. Our dog loved the room. She didn’t want to leave! Staff were great and so was the manager. Location was awesome and near restaurants we walked to. Our floor was very quiet and even though families, dogs, and other travelers were in abundance we slept uninterrupted. For the price we were very happy!

Okay there’s always a down side. We weren’t allowed to stay more than 3 nights cause we had a dog. We understand the reasoning, but I wish they would advertise that. We booked the room and then were called by the manager prior to leaving for our trip. He advised they would only accommodate us for the 3 nights. What a shame cause we loved the hotel. We had to move to another location which was a pain after 3 days but you can’t argue with city hall!! We still recommend the hotel and would stay there again but only for 3 nights! Lol

Extremely pleased with this facility. Very friendly staff, very clean in all areas, nice little light breakfast with really good coffee that was available 24/7. Also, bed and side chair comfortable and a/c & heater ran so quietly that I could not tell it was running. Overall, an exceptional deal and a place I will stay whenever in Wilkes-Barre.

we finished work late and had to be back early , for the rate it was not worth traveling , to the yard and back . booked room , the water was hot room was quiet , bed was comfy and the had waffles , egg sandwiches for breakfast , yoghurt , and muffins , coffee was good . what else do you want . there is big enough parking out back i parked the mack out there .

Everyone that worked there was extremely friendly and helpful. I needed extra towels and an ironing board and the staff provided them immediately. I also booked an addition room by accident and the front desk was extremely patient and helpful rectifying the issue. Thank you again!

Everything was nice.

Breakfast was satisfactory - met expectations. We stayed at this Days Inn on May 24 as well. The room we had on the first visit was somewhat nicer than the room on May 31, but both were acceptable. My biggest complaint, and probably the only complaint, is that the toilets are rather low. If it had not been located next to the tub, I would have had difficulty getting up.

Hotel was very clean! The scent of cleaning supplies was noticable from the moment you walked in the door. Rooms were stocked and very clean. Comfy beds!

Traveling alone with my teenage daughter for a tournament, the only concern I had was having to park out back and walk to the front door at night.
