The hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. These are two of my primary reasons for staying at a hotel.

The price was higher than many other hotels in the area. The air conditioner was very noisy, but it did work. The large body towels were thread bare. Not fluffy and as water absorbent as other hotels (cheaper) in the area. The shower was the biggest disappointment. I know how to adjust shower heads, and shower faucets. The water pressure was very weak, even at the bathroom faucets. I had to stand under the shower head to get wet. A strong good shower after a day’s journey is essential to a good hotel stay. The toilet had to be flushed twice to properly eliminate material in the bowl. We have stayed at 6 different hotels in the Wilkes-Barre Pa, as we often visit my wife’s family.

We chose this hotel specifically for the pool. Unfortunately, the pool was under renovation which was very disappointing. However, despite this, the room and facilities were great! Beautifully decorated for the holidays and very clean. The room was comfortable. The bed was a little on the hard side for me but my husband and kids said it was comfortable. The location was perfect for grabbing food or anything else you might need. We had to book another night at the last minute due to weather and the front desk was very helpful, kind, and patient with me. Overall, we will definitely stay at this hotel again. We look forward to trying out the pool on our next stay.

Very modern and clean hotel. The room was large, the decorations looked elegant and modern. The beds were comfortable, even the bedding was smoother and more comfortable than what I have experienced at other hotels. The lobby looked very fancy and we were impressed by all the amenities that we unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy. The girl at the front desk in the morning was extremely nice. I think her name was Shirley or Sheryl. She had a smile on her face that was just what I needed when I checked out! The Hilton just has a different - higher - standard than other hotels. Very happy with this hotel and will be sure to book it again when we're in the area.

Such a beautiful hotel and a very comfortable atmosphere. We stayed at this hotel for the Lantern festival happening in Pocanos because my fiancée and I were getting engaged! Taylor, the front desk staff, was amazing in helping my fiancée with all the romantic gestures. The room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a beautiful light in it, (had to make sure my makeup looked good for pictures;)) overall, fabulous

The breakfast is not worth it. Go out and find something local! We went to Julie’s Cozy cafe and it was to die for!

I love the location with restaurants and Walmart so close by. The hotel is always very clean and I've been there multiple times and it's consistent. The staff are always very kind and helpful. I like that there is a jacuzzi and pool. Great hotel.

I literally only have one complaint. I've visited the hotel during every season. In the very hot summer and freezing winters. I do not like the heating/AC system. It appears as if each room has their own access and control, but that is not the case. I've gone in the winter where the heat is up so high we could barely breathe and none of us were able to sleep because we were sweating and so uncomfortable. In the summer we tried to put the AC on because the room was so hot but it is fixed and you cannot change it. I was there yesterday and spent one night and we were so hot and uncomfortable. It was the first time I considered possibly looking for another hotel. Which I would hate to do because I really love everything else about the hotel. I wish that could just be fixed.

I loved the way it looked, and the room, bed and everything was comfortable and amazing. It’s definitely worth it the only thing wrong was truly just super super small things that didn’t impact our stay at all, I would honestly stay here all the time and the location was immaculate!

Some things were not kept up or cleaned… the gym was small & definitely wasn’t cleaned for awhile (the bathroom i mean) & there was a cupboard in our room that was falling apart, and the hair dryer was not good at all…

I always appreciate staying at the Hilton garden inn at Wilkes-Barre. I've come to expect the facilities to be clean and the staff to be friendly. Other area hotels fail at this.

Sadly, it is no different for any other hotel. The blankets are thin the pillows are too mushy, but as I said it's that way for every hotel.

I was very impressed with how comfortable the beds were.Also I loved how quiet the hall was that I was on.Everyone was wonderful and the breakfast was excellent for tge price.I thought the evening and morning staff were very friendly and helpful with all my questions. I look forward to staying at this hotel and very much recommended it to anyone traveling solo.You will feel safe and will definitely get a great night sleep.

Easy to find, clean. Nice staff.

It’s listed in the booking.com site as breakfast is included with our stay. Upon arrival we were told it is $14.95 per person. We usually try to book rooms that include a breakfast of some sort to offset the higher costs of rooms lately. No breakfast means not booking there again.

Room was very clean smelling, and bright. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchenette area and clean bathrrom with nice toiletries

Carpet and or floor dirty. Soles of feet became soiled after walking barefoot. AirConditioner making a noise all night long. Room cool but very high humidity. Lid of ice bucket obviously dirty
