I loved the property at The Woodlands Resort. The daily complimentary breakfast was delicious. The owner, his daughter and most of the staff were beyond friendly. The reort is very big, offers a lot for food options, pools. Crescenzo's pizza was very good with absolutely delicious wings. We really enjoyed it.

My only con, and this is my fault for not doing more research before booking - the rooms in the tower are much older and outdated than what I saw from rooms on the other side of the resort. The rooms in the tower are very old, AC doesn't work great. The room was clean, but next time I would definitely book a room in the newer or updated side.

My husband and I have been making a yearly visit since 2018! One of our favorite things to do is go down to the stream edge on the rocks and just sit and relax for hours. I actually proposed to him on those rocks! (Our wedding was small but if it were larger, we would have loved to have used The Woodlands as a venue.) The wood fired pizza is delicious and the staff are all extremely friendly. We splurged this time around and got a room with a jacuzzi and it really elevated our experience. The value is unmatched as well…it’s so affordable, even for the most deluxe rooms. We also really love that it has always been an LGBTQ+ friendly fixture in the area.

The property was unique! I liked the wilderness vibe with the waterfall behind the hotel ,the trees and little park around the pool . It was different than having a boxy hotel building . Loved my jacuzzi tub and spacious room. Very pet friendly !

It could really , really use some updating ! There were a lot of different spots you could see the integrity of the building falling apart. The decks , stairs , sides of the building just missing pieces not paint pieces . Even the repairs were shabby fillers not real fixes . This location deserves more ! It’s a hidden gem and deserves a new facelift . And oulets wholly cow . We had to move the microwave to charge the electronics .

The room was nice (and had a glass door out to the courtyard) except for the toilet which seemed to be a roll of the dice if it would flush properly and the paper thin walls. We were very impressed with the overall set up of the room and access to the main courtyard. Loved the restaurant options and happy hour at the grill. Beautiful views, a real hidden gem. The front desk staff were fantastic. The restaurant staff were exceptional and extremely helpful. Pet friendly and great green space. Very relaxing afternoon/evening environment.

Some of the other customers. There were several overly drunk loud visitors. They seemed to bang and yell down the hallways every hour on the hour between 11pm to 4am. Even heard a guest at 3am loudly banging on doors on our hall. Staff seemed to get people rounded up quickly but it was constant. Maybe a normal Saturday night? It does seem like a great place to hang out with friends on a weekend. But the walls are PAPER THIN. I can't express that enough. Lol

Very nice area. The wooded area out back was very nice…I’m sure it will Be beautiful when the leaves change. Perfect location for the casino and arena.

We stayed in the tower. It needs a bit of an update. No counters in the bathrooms and the lighting is not very good. Our shower curtain did not cover the full width of the shower, which probably explains the bottom of the door (it was all splintered and damaged) our tv had no sound (we were not there to watch tv, but like to get ready to tv noise) Would love a full length mirror…or at least one larger than the small bathroom mirror.

The creek was beautiful and the best festure. The pool looked inviting but wasn't ready for swimming. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck where we could see and hear the creek. Our room was basic but comfortable. The retro 70s decor in the lobby was a little dowdy, but we really liked the planting all through the grounds. Food ok, not great. All the basic amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very nice to have on-site parking. Fine for an overnight stay on our way elsewhere.

The tower room was ordinary and seemed appropriate for corporate travelers. Biggest complaint: A bath mat wasn't provided and that was unacceptable. The bathroom floor got wet and slippery. Potential lawsuit material if someone were to slip and fall on the bare tiles!!!

I like the staff very helpful, the location and area very central, food was affordable and yummy,Drinks 7-10. Room was clean and quiet.

What I didn't like was that my request for the room ls floor and view was not taken. I Booked it weeks before the date, ask for 1 st floor, got 5 floor. Ask for pool view and got parking view, and asked for same floor next door or connected for both rooms and they were first giving us 2 different floors at the end they worked it out to be a least same floor.

Location... And friendly staff

The shower. The water pressure wasn't that great and the water did not get hot. The price to get into the clubs was a little too much for someone who was staying at the hotel.

The breakfast was the same everyday and just average. The bar and restaurant staff was excellent. The room was so clean and updated location was great and the price was great. The WiFi didn’t work our whole stay there. We had to go in the parking lot to use our phones but aside from that, very nice place.

Breakfast wasn’t great and the WiFi didn’t work. We were disappointed the fitness center and indoor pool were closed but no biggie.

we had a balcony view of the stream that was beautiful. bed was contactable people were very nice and the food amazing

had blood on her sheets they never brought us back up duvet and my friend froze. asked for new one next day still nothing. above our deck was the deck for people drinking which was odd if we sat out there at night cuz everybody can look at us. and going to the one restaurant the back way on their deck was two guys and one girl and it almost felt like a sex trafficking type of deal the girl came up to me and my best friend and the guy sat in the back and made a comment as we came out and she came up to us so that was uncomfortable. and they never told me when I'll get my $100 deposit back
