The views were pretty - everything was so good to the indoor pool, and the front desk employees are amazing! I would come back here again, and just knowing your car is safe in the garage under the hotel is a plus and they have a clicker for you its 75 bucks but its on hold to you check out and it will be refunded back to your account. I recommend getting that if you are leaving late at night to go places. Also, there is a 150 hold when you check in, but that's normal - just thought everyone would know and not be surprised because it will be refunded once you check out!

For a one night stay it was just fine. Close to casinos, where you can find a few good bars and restaurants and to downtown Reno, which in my opinion isn’t the best place to be. Overall this hotel had what we needed after a long drive. A nice pool and lounge area and a nice rooftop patio. It was clean, we had a good sized room and free parking space. At a first glance it may seem outdated, but it’s actually well maintained and it looked like they did some upgrades to the rooms.
The noise from a construction site across the street, but it wasn’t the hotel’s fault. It would have been nice to have some breakfast offered.

It is an older building so the rooms are not modern and narrow. Feels very 80’s with the heavy wood but i liked the regional art work and it felt cozy like a relatives home. My daughter had fun in the pool with her friends. The staff at the bar were chatty, nice and welcoming. The coffee machine by the pool table was handy. The building is non smoking and front desk staff were nice and helpful. The location is nice for walking to restaurants or doing the tiver walk. The parking is handy. All around good value. Its not a place to see and be seen, but it is a nice place away from the Casinos and seems like a good location for downtown nightlife as well. There is also a nearby community market and you have a fridge and microwave in the room. Many brewpubs with outdoor seating a close walk across the river.

Everything was great. The bathroom was clean and the shower was nice. We got extra towels with no questions asked. We had complimentary coffee and other drinks. We felt safe and comfortable. We like the mini fridge, the microwave, and the table and chairs, as well as the pull out sofa bed. It was a little bit thin, and you can feel the springs of the sofa.
The noises outside cannot be helped, but we were outside the construction site, the honking of the cars, the people across the street were loud almost all night.

We love the spacious King Bed rooms and the comfortable beds and awesome pillows. We purchased two pillows this stay and two the last time we stayed and we love them. The bar and other facilities on the 7th floor are exceptional. Staff is always friendly and helpful. This is our favorite place to stay in the reno area!
The parking garage is a bit hard to navigate but it is clean and secure so that's awesome. If your room is on the east side of the hotel it can get noisy at the street level late at night but it has a good view of the city as seen from the included photo.

The room was large, the views were fantastic, and the bed & pillows were amazingly comfortable. We loved the old school charm and the beautiful wood throughout. We enjoyed time in the lounge area with pool table and on the sundeck. Easily walkable to restaurants, the Truckee River, and downtown casinos. We also had a great time at a free outdoor musical festival that was a 15 minute walk from the hotel.
Wish the Cafe was open a little longer with more offerings. Did enjoy the vegan burrito and cappuccino. Housekeeping reminder: don't forget to vacuum the closet rug, ours needed cleaning.

I absolutely loved plaza resort club in Reno one of the best things was on site parking and it was a very short walk from the elevator in the parking garage to our room the hotel was very clean and the environment was super chill and great for people traveling with kids definitely recommend this hotel I loved the fact that I did not smell cigarettes at all !!! Smoke free hotel which is a plus because I have two small kids I can’t say enough good things about this place one of Reno’s best kept secrets for sure!! My family’s new go to any time we visit Reno from now on !!!

The hotel is secure and clean. The staff was kind. We loved the pool, the sun deck and the pool table. It was excellent for our big family group. Parking is good too. We loved the bar which has a great bartender and open on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s a gem!
It’s not the hotel’s fault but there is a noisy club nearby. It didn’t bother all of us but if you’re a light sleeper perhaps request a room away from the main road and that might help.

You are either going to love this hotel, or not. I fall to the first category - I really enjoyed my stay! As I stepped into the lobby on arrival and stepping into my spacious room I felt transported back to the 1980s. The attention to 1980s detail was remarkable - the oak furniture, soft furnishings, popcorn ceiling, carpet color and pattern, floor tile color and motif, mirrored sliding closet doors, brass lamp-stand, wall art, frosted shower doors, etc. Everything was clean and in excellent working order. The bed was big and comfortable. The airconditioning was silent and effective. Views from my 16th floor room were spectacular, despite a neighboring high rise. The staff were friendly and helpful. This time capsule experience was a very welcome reminder of a bygone era and a refreshing alternative to modern accommodation alternatives void of any personality. The hotel is conveniently located and gives excellent access to the river walk promenade. Lots of restaurants and entertainment within a short walking distance.
Due to the 1980s layout, power outlets are not as plentiful and conveniently accessible as you might like.

Location, Comfort and Amenities all in one! Hotel has a classic appeal to it! Rooms feel like home. Spacious with SUPER comfy beds and beautiful views! Set up had everything we needed. Onsite amenities like the indoor heated pool, fitness center and outdoor deck were also a plus. They do have a onsite bar and coffee shop but it's only open Weekends. I loved that the Riverwalk, coffee and food were all within walking distance. The Riverwalk is beautiful!! Free secured Wi-Fi & Onsite free parking too!!
Parking lot can be a little loud.
