From first to last, everything was top notch. Nicky was the consummate host: supremely well organised yet discreet, thoughtful, flexible and attentive. Everything from ample supplies of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, high quality toiletries and fresh towels were supplied and replenished when necessary. An exceptional choice of breakfast was served in a comfortable dining / communal lounge area using really tasty locally sourced produce. My room and adjacent shower room were both really well appointed. It was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. My dog cookie was made very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed her stay. She had the run of two spacious fields and really appreciated the breakfast treat each morning. The property is very conveniently situated to explore the North Cornwall coast and countryside.

A truly quintessential British B&B – the way they all should be. Even before we arrived the communication was there already making you feel welcome. Every detail was thought of, not just for us but for the dog too, who was utterly spoiled with his very own morning sausage and endless space to roam in the beautiful gardens and private, securely fenced fields. The breakfasts are unforgettable – even after completing our road trip through Cornwall and Bath, nothing has come close to the one we had here. The location is perfect as well, with everything just an easy drive away and nothing ever feeling far. Our stay ended far too soon, and leaving was genuinely sad. We’ve already planned our return for our next trip in this direction – it’s absolutely worth the detour.

Nicky, the hostess, was extremely welcoming, patient, and definitely made the stay memorable. The breakfast was very good, and Nicky was very flexible, adding or removing staff from the menu according to our request (when she could accommodate it). The location was pretty isolated from the villages, but within 10-minute drive from Rock or Wadebridge. The room was comfortable, and we could use the refrigerator at the breakfast room a floor below.

The bathroom was private, but just outside of the bedroom and quite chilly.

I booked 3 nights staying at Treweens Annex with my hubby so we could bring our well behaved cocker spaniel. The annex felt much larger than the photos, also loved the little courtyard enclosed for our dog. Also lovely to sit outdoors in the sunshine where we could eat. The apartment was like home from home, cosy, modern, very well appointed, every appliance necessary, a good sized fridge/freezer. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Nicky who was a delight, very warm, friendly, happy to help with anything. We even had access to the adjoining two fields closeby, a private access for guests and our fury friends. Loved that Nicky has even invested in special filtered water sourced from her land/property. Location was ideal, not far from Rock (The Mariners pub/restaurant). Also St Kew pub (we had a fab Sunday lunch). Would highly recommend if you want self-catering home from home accommodation/facilities. We will be back.

The property was set in beautiful grounds, it was so peaceful. It was spotlessly clean & equipped with everything we needed and more. The log burner was a lovely touch, with plenty of logs provided and the property is very dog friendly, with bed and bowl provided and a small fenced garden area 🐶 ideally located to visit nearby attractions - we visited Polzeath, Rock, Padstow and Port Isaac during our 3 night stay. We really didn’t want to leave and will 100% return. Things to note (although we did visit during Easter weekend) try and prebook the Mariners if possible, we were gutted it was fully booked for the 3 days we were there. The Pityme inn serves lovely food & is dog friendly and the Maltsters Arms is just down the road and does a great Sunday carvery 😋 Nicky, our host was perfect.. friendly & informative. Thank you x

I loved everything about the property

The location is perfect for visiting the area. The place was absolutely perfect for the dogs with the enclosed fields. Nicky was a superb host answering any questions promptly and in a cordial and friendly manner. She offered additional dog blankets and towels if we needed them and my dogs loved her! She recommended local beaches to take the dogs and information inside the property was perfect and she was able to advise of local shops

Nothing it was perfect

Nicky was very helpful and friendly, we didn't get to the property until quite late but she came out to greet us. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night instead of the two we had booked and left early the next morning so couldn't sample the breakfast or relax! The bed was comfortable and the room spacious.

Lovely breakfast, several choices of cooked food, good friendly service from Nikki, pretty breakfast room in old house. Beautiful well-kept garden in the countryside.

The bathroom was opposite the bedroom, across a corridor. We had the last booking so didn't mind too much that it was not ensuite and we knew in advance of this. We were not disturbed by other residents walking past. Next year we must book earlier!

In these days where B&Bs are mainly just Bed, what a joy to be in such a lovely traditional B&B! Set in the peaceful countryside, this 18th century house has been modernised so well that from the inside it appears 20th century. (But if you are over 6ft 2in, ask for a bedroom with the en-suite readily accessible!) It has its own fields for dog walking, and beautifully kept gardens. The full Cornish breakfast was a real delight, as were the home-made compotes, jams and marmalades. Nicky was so welcoming, flexible and friendly. A real pleasure to stay in her lovely B&B!

The roads nearby are not walkable.

Beautiful bnb. Extremely clean and cozy, lush green gardens, amazing host Nicky, delicious breakfast. We had everything we needed. Would love to stay here again.

Was not aware bathroom was not en suite, it was private tho, so we didn’t mind much.
