A very good family 3* hotel Very close to Mainz main station. hotel open 24h with a real receptionist. The hotel deserve its 3 stars, my room was big, clean, the furniture in good shape. With a touch that change from the formatted chain hotels. It is a detail but close to the reception you have photos of all the hotel team. I like it, this hotel has a soul. At my arrival, the first room was hot, 27°C and the air conditioning not working. Beginning of summer is hot in Mainz > 30°C. Bad luck. Luckily the very friendly receptionist found rapidly one room free, fresh and the air conditioning working. I had very good sleeps. I also like the breakfast, a classic German breakfast buffet and the tea was pretty good quality.

When we needed an umbrella to explore the city during unexpected rain, they were quick to lend us one. Additionally, I experienced a personal incident during my stay, and their genuine care and willingness to assist during that time truly stood out. Their warmth and understanding turned a potentially stressful moment into a manageable one. Though the hotel is simple, it offers everything you need for a pleasant stay, and the exceptional service provided by the staff makes it an unforgettable experience. Hotel met my expectations. I was amazed with the location which is perfect. Premises were minimal in size but speciuos enough for shoort staying. Staff is excelent, From 1 to 10 I give them 12. Very proffesional, polite and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and hotel have every reason to be proud on its restaurant. Plenty reasons to chose this hotel, especially if you don't feel the need to pay larger sum for accomodation.

Room I was in, is ready for redecoration since all the carpentry, bathroom tiles and rugs are from late 70-ies or early 80-ies style. Nothing was broken and everything was functional but realy obsolete.

The hotel and my room were very good. The hotel is directly opposite the train station, which was ideal for me as I had an early start to travel the next day. The receptionist who checked me in was efficient and helpful. My room was quite big, very clean and comfortable, with lots of storage space for luggage. It looked out on a central inner area, and was quiet at night. The bathroom was also clean, with a powerful shower and lots of hot water and toiletries. Linen and towels were good quality. I didn't have breakfast. Very good service from start to finish.

It's super close to the main station, great location, especially if you get stuck in the middle of the night thanks to Deutsche Bahn lol... Staff was also friendly and the room was quiet and comfortable.

I feel like it could do with some modernization - but especially I felt like they were a little too proud of the services they provide which are literally the bare minimum - talking about the "gift" they leave you in the room to welcome you ... a small bottle of water - plus that the rooms have wifi... Not really something special these days:))

Good location. Good looking old building, very clean inside. Small rooms but in good condition, nice bathroom with excellent shower.

Even if hotel has a lift (built later I assume), it leaves most customers in half floor so you have to do stairs, in our case over 20 steps both ways. For our old dog it meant that dog needed to be carried 4 times a day both ways. Hotel should clearly mention this in its description.

Central location next to train station, good breakfast, evertything was functioning and clean. Good size room (single).

Quite outdated interiour and appliances, but everything is clean and works well. The elevator helps, but there is still part that you need to make by the stairs. Saturday night there was a lot of noise from people on the street due to some football game?.. (not hotel's fault of course, but disturbing still).

It's an old hotel but very nice. Nice comfortable room. Good size bathroom with good shower. Complimentary toiletries for use & good hairdryer. Complimentary bottles of water. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Location excellent for train station. Eateries & pubs close by or a short walk to others. Various car parks near by.

I have to say that breakfast was really good. Location is close to s-bahn and in acceptable distance most of required shops, pubs etc. Room was clean and people on reception very helpful and supportive.

So the hotel is in a building where there is one elevator and stairs. I lived on the 4th floor so I preferred the stairs. I was cold in the room probably because of the air conditioning, which I tried to set up for a while but I didn't succeed, it happened to be very warm and nice, so it wasn't essential. The ventilation from the shower sometimes gives off an unpleasant smell, but that is to be expected.
