Friendly greeting from Karen and Paul,Breakfast was very satisfying,they had cereals,fruit juice,fresh fruit,yogurts etc,then there was a choice of Suffolk Breakfast consisting of bacon,sausage,grilled tomato,mushrooms,eggs,baked beans,and toast and tea or coffee.it was more than l could eat so Paul made me a smaller breakfast.Good Value.and cooked fresh.There was tea & coffee making facilities/biscuits in the room.Karen kindly helped me with my suitcase.good parking on site.there was a heater,fan ( which l was grateful for )a hairdryer.

I would have preferred to have an en suite in the room,as l had to go down the corridor to access my en suite for my room only. If l go again and stay at Grove House Hotel l will book a room on the ground floor at the rear of the property.

I thought the room was perfectly equipped for our needs, warm, comfortable bed, tea and biscuits and also everything that we might have wanted to know was clearly explained in the book in the room. Paul was very welcoming to us. First impressions are always important and after a two hour drive it was nice to have a friendly welcome at the door. Breakfast was excellent.

I don't think there's anything that we didn't like about the stay, would stay again if the need arose in that area. I only marked down slightly for location because of having to turn off a fast moving road into the hotel, but a very minor consideration

Our bedroom was clean, a comfortable bed, with towels and complimentary toiletries. Accessible wi fi, quiet atmosphere during the night. A good service in the dining room for breakfast, and tea brought in a tea pot! A kind welcoming host.

A cooked breakfast was on offer each morning, but maybe for those who wouldn't choose a cooked breakfast, there ought to have been more on offer - like a fresh fruit salad to compliment the yogurts, some granola and a larger selection of croissants.

A very nice, carpeted room with a desk and chair plus wardrobe, plenty of drawers and a very comfortable bed with bedside lamp. Lots of charging points, TV with BBC channels for sport. Window opened to let in fresh air. Temperature in room ideal. Keys to let myself in and out of the hotel and room. Little Waitrose at nearby petrol station perfect for some upmarket sandwiches, wraps and snacks. Nice and quiet. The toilet, basin and shower were perfect and in a separate room, I think shared with 2 other hotel rooms, though I never saw anybody else during my stay.

The location is near the town centre with adequate parking. The room was quite comfortable with a very nice refurbished bathroom and met my requirements.

The room appeared to smell slightly. It was quite noisy, the telephone rang quite a lot and I could hear people next door quite easily.

Incredible value for money. This is hotel isn't super-fancy but it is clean, comfortable, well located, the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was great. I honestly cannot remember ever staying in a hotel that offered such good value.

If I absolutely had to be critical of something it would only be that I would have chosen to have breakfast a little bit later but honestly that's knitpicking. Everything was great .

Clean room, parking, simple but excellent food. It's a small hotel, there was only one guy working there who took excellent care of us. He even started his day earlier so we could have some breakfast before we left.

There is no restaurant in the hotel, neither in a walking distance. There is some simple food in the bar in the hotel and it was more than enough for me. But if you want to have a dinner in a real restaurant, you have to go somewhere by car.

Room was clean, tidy, well furnished, comfortable.

It was more like a hostel than a hotel. Great for reps, or business people just wanting a clean room and bed for the night, but I wouldn't want to spend a holiday there as there is none of the hotel feel, with an inviting open foyer, a lounge area or bar etc., just a locked front door (for which you get a key) then corridors to the bedrooms.

The hotel is well cared for and our stay was very comfortable. Simple English breakfast grill, cereal yoghurt and fruit but was very nice. We were concerned that being on the A12 it would be quite noisy but we were in a side room and traffic was not a problem at all.

It would be nice to have a mini fridge in the room. There was a pump noise of some sort from somewhere in the hotel very early in the morning which lasted a short while but it did not spoil our stay.

Plenty of well laid out parking at the front of the property. The room was spacious and clean with an en suite shower room. Owner helpful and friendly. The property is in an ideal location for exploring the Suffolk coast. It's within walking distance of Woodbridge and Sutton Hoo.

I found the front door lock a little difficult to operate at first.
