Very friendly staff, decor of hotel, large good tasting breakfast. Good location, excellent parking at rear of hotel. quiet terrace at back of hotel to relax in.

The pillows on the bed asked for them to be changed from feather but they were not very comfortable. The Sunday roast dinner was huge would have preferred the vegetables to have been separate maybe in a tureen for us to share. Also didn't like the gravy being on the plate - why could we not have it in a jug to put on as much as we wanted?

The hotel is in an excellent location , the room was a good size, the free parking was a bonus and there was a good selection of breakfast items.

Even though I received 2 generic text messages about checking in and how to access the car park, it would have been nice to be informed that the road to the side of the hotel where the car park entrance was and our room overlooked was being dug up for pipe laying.We struggled to get in the car park, and could not access it from Thoroughfare and nearly didnt get in from Station Road. The pipe layers started work just before just 8, they werent too noisy but it meant I didnt get a lay in.

The room was great, lots of space and a comfy bed. The bar and restaurant seemed quite ‘Spartan’ in design and to us lacked atmosphere (ok it was a Tuesday night but still the pizza place across the road was buzzing). Although I appreciate its harder to keep clean, I think wooden tables a few soft furnishings to absorb the noise and some quite background music might help, as it felt a more like a cafe than a pub or restaurant when we ate there, which is a shame as the food was great.

Great location and was quiet off season. Just 5 minutes from station. Everything was well provided in the room. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice both continental and cooked.

Service was patchy, but overall it was very good but two occasions when we were overlooked, both at an evening meal and breakfast. We thought cheeseboard at the evening meal was overpriced for what was presented and not good value. It lacked grapes as advertised and insufficient choice of biscuits.

The staff, the interior, the atmosphere. We were particularly thankful to Vivienne who did everything she could to help us when our friend Pete collapsed

The bedroom was a little tired. There were no staff present who had any first aid training. I recognise that this is not possible but maybe you could consider training up one or two. It might have made a big difference to the outcome. As it happened, the ambulance arrived very promptly.

The central location with a car park on site was perfect for our stay in Woodbridge. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful.

Our room was spacious and clean. However all the decorations and fittings could do with an update/refresh. The bedroom was tidied on our second day but the bathroom wasn’t tidied, bin emptied or towels changed despite leaving them on the bath as requested if a refresh was required.

Lovely big spacious room, which was nicely decorated, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The shower was excellent! The staff were absolutely fantastic, really kind and attentive, and always warm and friendly. They created such a welcoming atmosphere! The location was perfect, right in the heart of Woodbridge. Delicious breakfast, lots of options and generous portions. We had a great stay! Thanks to all the team.

A very comfortable and friendly hotel in a very convenient location, a few minutes from the railway station and the town centre. A lovely spacious room, good breakfast menu, friendly staff, comfortable bar with outside seating for sunny weather. Everything we were looking for in a small-town hotel, better in fact than some larger establishments we've been to!

All aspects of the hotel were excellent, staff were very accommodating and helpful, food was delicious with my g-f/lactose free intolerances catered for easily with good choices on all menus, a gluten free loaf was provided at the end of my stay which was a real bonus! Our room was very clean and comfortable and extra pillows were provided upon request. The close proximity to the town centre meant that Christmas shopping was easy as our bags could be taken back to our room. Woodbridge has lots of individual shops, well worth a visit.

The breakfast and dinner were both excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.the room looked good, the bed was comfortable but the room was not well cleaned. Bathroom not good either

The hotel was good. But the room was not as clean as it should be. The bath did not make us want to use it due to the condition of the bath and the sink and no full length blind in bathroom giving no privacy in the bath. Towels and bedding were excellent.mostly
