The staff were excellent and the food was lovely. The room was clean and modern with a good shower. Parking arrangements went very well with our spot having it's own personalised cone!

The only reason it's not ten out of ten is that the room got very warm during the night and so we didn't sleep that well. We couldn't keep the window open because of the traffic noise (not a problem with the window closed)

Location is in the centre of Woodbridge which is historic town. A welcoming feel to the Inn. Breakfast was good. The meal and service was good. Room and bathroom were clean and warm. Short walk to river walks and museum.

Parking is limited to 10 spaces with 14 rooms. They inform you of this before you stay and say you can reserve a space by paying £10. What is not clear is that you cannot have a parking space unless you pay the £10. We thought we could turn up and take our chance on a parking space. On arrival several parking spaces were vacant but had cones saying to reserve this space you need to reserve it. We asked at reception and although the spot was vacant we had to pay £10 to park. It should be clearly stated by the Inn that parking has to be paid for and this reserves your space.

The staff and food were excellent as was the location. The staff were youthful but well trained and friendly. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The breakfast was good. The parking was convenient and well signposted. Despite our reservations (see below) we would stay there again but perhaps in a less noisy room.

The room was very small and could have done with updating. The TV had to be switched on and off manually. The toilet took an age to refill. There was no fan in the room which meant the window had to be opened to a very noisy street in which, unfortunately, on our first night, there was a noisy and distressing fight to which the police were called. We were assured that our room had been cleaned but it did not appear that the bed had been properly made. The parking was quite tight. We paid our lunch bill at the time but were surprised to note that the drinks and dessert were added to our final bill.

Come and stayed at the bull for my wedding. Lovely hotel opposite the shire hall which was my venue. All staff were super friendly and accommodating. Room was beautiful and made my wedding extra special. Lovely options for breakfast and great service. We stayed in the suite which was huge, especially impressed by the super comfy bed. Had drinks in the bar which was great and was also lovely to sit outside in the sun. Was lovely that the lady at the desk remembered we had got married the day before and asked us how it had gone.

We had a really excellent stay at the Bull Inn. The room was even bigger than we expected, all very comfortable, including the bed which was just perfect. The homemade shortbread left with the tea and coffee was delicious. The (included) breakfast can be chosen from a menu like a regular restaurant breakfast and was fantastic. Every member of staff we interacted with was friendly, kind and professional.

It's a pub so obviously there can be some noise into the evening. On the Monday night of our stay, the piano was still being played at 10:30pm and coming up loudly into our room - but when we asked the staff if this could stop, they kindly sorted that out.

An historic inn . Centrally located with car park which, in Woodbridge, is invaluable. Sarah, the manager, couldn’t have been more helpful. She arranged a delightful room for me in the ground floor due to my mobility issues. Dined in the hotel’s restaurant. The food was delicious. The breakfast too was beautifully cooked and presented. I should also mention that all the staff who I met were polite and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I will look forward to staying here again as I have friends in the Woodbridge area. The attention to detail in terms of decor - fresh and modern. The staff, Vicky who greeted and welcomed us, Olivia and Esmie who served us throughout at breakfast Breakfast was awesome, best ever so said my husband, who had eggs royale. Nothing was overlooked in terms small details when it came to offering the customer a pleasant comfortable stay. Value for money

As it’s an old building so the climb to third floor steep for two oldies. Worth it when you get there the view from our room awesome. Will request first floor next time as we will be back.

The Bull Inn is an old, and in some places quaint building. They have a small car park, and it is best to book a parking space, even though there is an extra charge, as local parking can be difficult. Staff were universally friendly and helpful. There is no lift, but the staff offer to carry your bags up the stairs. Our room was a decent size, and had two sitting chairs, many only have one. Very clean and quiet. Excellent bed and not too hot. For those liking hand-pumped beer, they had 6 local brews on. Breakfast was very good, allow plenty of time.

Well situated and tastefully furnished. The staff are efficient and courteous.The breakfast menue is creative and the food extremely good.

The room I occupied had large sash windows that looked out onto houses in a street.The heavy curtains were long and covered the radiator when closed. The bathroom opposite the window is extremely small so it was impossible to get dressed or undressed in there. Therefore I had to keep closing the heavy curtains. A blind would be easier.

The room was comfortable and well equipped with toiletries, etc. A nice touch was the home baked shortbread biscuits and fresh water each day. I was really pleased we had booked the parking space as the car park is small and tight. The breakfast each morning was very good and staff accommodating with requests.

Perhaps some nicer coffee in the room rather than sachets of instant; more places now have good coffee bags instead.
