I thought the room was perfectly equipped for our needs, warm, comfortable bed, tea and biscuits and also everything that we might have wanted to know was clearly explained in the book in the room. Paul was very welcoming to us. First impressions are always important and after a two hour drive it was nice to have a friendly welcome at the door. Breakfast was excellent.

I don't think there's anything that we didn't like about the stay, would stay again if the need arose in that area. I only marked down slightly for location because of having to turn off a fast moving road into the hotel, but a very minor consideration

A very nice, carpeted room with a desk and chair plus wardrobe, plenty of drawers and a very comfortable bed with bedside lamp. Lots of charging points, TV with BBC channels for sport. Window opened to let in fresh air. Temperature in room ideal. Keys to let myself in and out of the hotel and room. Little Waitrose at nearby petrol station perfect for some upmarket sandwiches, wraps and snacks. Nice and quiet. The toilet, basin and shower were perfect and in a separate room, I think shared with 2 other hotel rooms, though I never saw anybody else during my stay.

Clean room, parking, simple but excellent food. It's a small hotel, there was only one guy working there who took excellent care of us. He even started his day earlier so we could have some breakfast before we left.

There is no restaurant in the hotel, neither in a walking distance. There is some simple food in the bar in the hotel and it was more than enough for me. But if you want to have a dinner in a real restaurant, you have to go somewhere by car.

The hotel is well cared for and our stay was very comfortable. Simple English breakfast grill, cereal yoghurt and fruit but was very nice. We were concerned that being on the A12 it would be quite noisy but we were in a side room and traffic was not a problem at all.

It would be nice to have a mini fridge in the room. There was a pump noise of some sort from somewhere in the hotel very early in the morning which lasted a short while but it did not spoil our stay.

Staff very nice and room was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again

The only minor thing is the exit onto the A12. There is nothing than can be done about it but guests should be aware that is can sometimes be difficult getting out and they will need to be patient to find a suitable gap in traffic when it is busy.

The room was clean. The shower worked well. All the basics were done right. A good stay for the money. Breakfast was as expected. The scrambled egg was done well.

The location is some way outside the main part of the town. Would be a problem if you came to see the sights and did not have a car. With a car it is fine -- not more than ten minutes from pretty town centre. With a car this is also a good base to visit Sutton Hoo which was fascinating.

The breakfast grill was well presented and the food was of good quality and a variety of cereals, fresh fruit and juice's. Good selection for evening meal menu in the restaurant. Nice little bar for guests. Staff provided great customer service very friendly and approachable.

The only small concern was the ensuite mirror was a little high for a person of 5ft 5inch or less to be able to see better. No other issues

Bedroom was a good size, bathroom large. Comfortable bed. Hot water. Good shower. Nicely decorated. Newly decorated dining room and bar area. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Very clean.

Loin of pork slices for dinner was tough. Not much choice for desserts. Would have liked some fruit for breakfast. Not much choice for main breakfast.

Comfortable room, modern shower/bathroom, spotlessly clean throughout. Plenty of room for parking. Convenient for Woodbridge and Sutton Hoo. Breakfast was very good. We walked into Woodbridge to eat in the evening. The hotel is surprisingly quiet as it’s set back from the main road.

Not being able to open the top windows at night. Both were locked.

On a dual carriageway. Heating left on full blast in bedroom which meant that 3 hours later, even after turning off, the room was still too hot to sleep comfortably.
