My wife is Gluten intollerant and the staff were very helpful in catering for her dietary needs. Francisco on reception was extremely helpful with all aspects of our booking from Greeting to also providing a kettle with tea/coffee making facilities, and giving us details of tourist information. We had a very pleasant stay at the Exe Malaga and would not hesitate to recommend. All our room preferences were catered for. Hotel was in a great location, very close to Cathedral and centre without being too noisy.

The breakfast was a bit lukewarm and the scrambled eggs were “okay”. Other than that everything else was fine and there was plenty of choice.

We have just stayed 5 nights in this hotel it is a fantastic location everything about the hotel was just perfect staff amazing breakfast good but location just makes this hotel .We got a free taxi from airport to Hotel via booking .com because we payed for our stay in full when we booked it well worth it .

The rooms to the front of the hotel can be a little loud at night time but it did not bother us as we wore ear plugs and they worked great .That would not put us off staying again .I will be letting all my friends in Ireland know about this hotel .

The staff were absolutely brilliant, on arrival we were given a run down of what to do with our short stay and upon checkout the staff were so helpful about minding our bags. Perfect location-surrounded by lovely cafés, bars and only a short walk to all of the major sites in the area Loved the access to the sun terrace as well as the option of the pool Really comfortable, airy and clean room with a lovely bathroom and comfy beds.

Our room was a little noisy-we could hear people in other rooms and the ambience of the street late in the evening. Nothing of note unless you're a particularly light sleeper.

We stayed during the week before Christmas. We had a family room for 2 adults and our 2 kids. Double bed and double sofa bed. It was spacious and airy. The bathroom was excellent and had all amenities including hairdryer, shampoo and bodywash. Water and snacks on arrival. Mini bar and a beautiful balcony to watch the world go by. The staff were incredible - genuinely helpful and friendly. Supplied a decent iron and board for our arrival as I'd called a couple of days before . Location was brilliant, right in the shopping centre, but easy to walk to the port and beach areas too. We'd come back and we'd definitely recommend to others.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Location & breakfast were both excellent! Room was clean & comfortable. We had a lovely stay & the receptionist who booked us in & out was exceptionally welcoming & efficient!

We were so disappointed that there were no hot drink making facilities in the room or elsewhere in the hotel except with breakfast. Being tea & coffee drinkers we had to spend a lot of money during the four days, for drinks we would normally have made for ourselves in our room after a days sight seeing!

The hotel has a good location, at the beginning of the historic centre. The Museo Thyssen is only 100 metres away. Every spot in the historic centre can be reached within 5 to 10 minutes walking (except for the Gibralforo castle, which requires slightly better physical abilities 😉). We had a nice welcome and got a room with view in the side street (which should be the quiter part). The room was not very spacious but was very clean and has a comfortable bathroom and a safe. Only the sound insulation could have been better: not between the rooms but the sounds from outside during night and during weekends early in the morning prevented from time to time a good night sleep. The breakfast buffet was good and there was enough choice. Top of the bill: in the 4th floor there is a small pool (open from mid April until November), and a nice solarium (also great to sit in the sun even when the pool is not open).

The sound insulation of the room should have been better.

Location good for historical Malaga. Rooms nice, bedding and towels good.staff pleasant and helpful. Nice to have outside space in centre of city.. Breakfast good and plentiful with wide offerings. Lovely small supermarket across the street for water, crisps, wine etc.

No storage for clothes, no drawers only hangers in bedroom, so all clothes exposed and seemed untidy to me. No mirror in bedroom only in bathroom. Double Bed on small side for current times and cost. Little noise 5.30 am ish as revellers head home.

Alvaro and Marina who worked the reception area when we checked in were friendly and efficient. Clean room. Perfect locale!

I was surprised that one of the bath towels was full of holes! With the exception of Alvaro and Marina, the front desk staff weren't very friendly, e.g. didn't look up to greet us as we passed by.

The first room we were allocated, was not acceptable. It had one window, covered in opaque material, which overlooked a space inside the building. We objected and were shown a room on the top floor, full of light, and alongside the swimming pool, and overlooking the roofs of the old town and a narrow street, full of atmosphere. It was great fun to stay in.

Property in perfect location and was spotless .

Receptionist was lovely and friendly but cleaners and waitress at breakfast didn’t seem warm or friendly and we felt like they wanted us out the restaurant ,however this did not spoil our trip it’s just an observation. The room is perfect but needed tea and coffee making facilities.
