I loved the location, atmosphere and staff of the Lancaster Arts Hotel. The proximity to downtown Lancaster was perfect! I walked and drove around many neighborhoods to get a feel for what might be comfortable as a possible relocation destination. The hotel staff greeted me warmly. They were helpful and kind whenever I had questions. The bed was comfy and the WiFi, shower, tv, etc all functioned very well. The John J Jeffries restaurant was also a treat the evening of my arrival. Delicious food and very convenient. Plus, there was a special surprise! Fireworks just outside my hotel window on July 3rd and 4th. They were spectacular!

My only criticism is that the hotel room floor was badly stained. It's time to pull up the carpet and replace it, either with easily replaceable carpet squares (replace stained sections) or LV. My solution - I kept my shoes on.

We requested to switch rooms because the first room has this incredibly LOUD buzzing from th HVAC(?) system that is on the roof. The second room was better, quieter. The bed was very comfortable, but it would have been nice to have a queen bed compared with the double that we had. Loved the locationg because we walked to local bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. We really liked the decor and the hardwood floors, nice restaurant and bar attached to the hotel.

The lighting in the rooms were a little off. The WHITE LED lighting was not calming. I suggest they change the LED to a soft yellow, more in line with traditional incandescent bulbs.

The room was beautiful. Nice bath robes in the wardrobe. They left chocolates and a rose on my first nights’s turned down service. I didn’t have turned down service on my second night, but I’m assuming they would’ve left more chocolate. The breakfast was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. There was so many options from freshly made scones, all kinds of bread and bagels, pancakes, fruit and much more. I also had dinner at the restaurant’s bar and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place.

Loved the coziness, cleanliness, bar, restaurant, lobby ... and especially the room in this hotel! The brick walls, the wood floors, the huge bathroom ... the wonderful artwork in the room and in the hallways! The breakfast in the morning was good ... the pancake machine was great ... we really enjoyed our stay here! We are coming back!!!

I think they should have a little spot in the lobby that sells goodies to eat! The coffee pot in the room could be more easily accessed.

This hotel was a delight and we enjoyed the 'arts' theme that runs throughout the hotel. The room was compact but well planned. The wardrobe revealed not only a coffee tray but fluffy bathrobes. And after going out for dinner at a lovely nearby restaurant, Lombardo's, we returned to find a rose and chocolates on the bed. What a lovely surprise. We were on a trip to the US which involved staying at 13 hotels over three weeks and this was one of my favourites. Another bonus was the car park was covered and adjacent.

Nothing to dislike. However, we did almost overshoot the turning into the hotel.

Interesting deco and do not disturb signs. Location was great and beds were super comfy. Best sleeps of my travel.

Wifi Connection was very bad, both in room and in breakfast area. Very hard to control the temp in shower. It’s either very hot or very cold difficult to adjust even with a single knob type (not the ones with 2 taps for adjustment). Breakfast hot items are mainly microwave items no omelette or scrambled hot eggs. There’s pan cake machine for hot item. Mainly cold hard boil eggs cold cuts continental style breakfast. Good selection of juices available.

I totally enjoyed my stay at Lancaster Arts Hotel and would definitely stay again when visiting Lancaster. The room was very comfortable, had all the amenities that anyone could want such as coffee maker, robes, and bathroom products. I did not use the coffee maker or robes but appreciated them being available. I also had the best meal at the restaurant of pork tenderloin.

Nothing that you could control but it rained so I could not go to the baseball game I had planned to attend but instead I went to dinner at the restaurant and it was so worthwhile.

Even though it's old, we loved the quality and the unique style of this hotel. The staff was professional and polite. The room was a five star rating with complimentary bottled water, bath robes, and an Artist sketch pad. The kitchen buffet had the usual but felt nicer with dishware and utensils that weren't plastic. We highly recommend Lancaster Arts Hotel.

At one point I thought I smelled sewer in the water so I didn't drink from the tap.

This was a cute little boutique hotel with a special charm. We didn't end up dining at the restaurant, but it looked very good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Our room was for three but it was a little too tight in there. We had to ask staff to remove a coffee table that was too large and didn't allow us to open the sofa bed. "Fresh" fruit served at breakfast was definitely not, and tasted sour.

Nice room, nice turn-down service, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast spread, friendly & helpful staff, easy parking, convenient location.

A hotel like this should have better coffee in the rooms. The coffee "bags" were smaller than the coffeemaker's basket, resulting in undrinkable watery brown stuff. Not a good way to start the morning. This room perk needs to be updated/upgraded. Also, the bathroom did not have enough places to hang bath towels to dry.
