This was the perfect place for an overnight before visiting Herrenchiemsee. We found easily accessed restaurants nearby in Prien even though the on-site restaurant was closed that day. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the after-hours check-in was well communicated. This was probably one of the best places we stayed on our trip.

There is nothing to report here for us. Yes, the facility is in the country and near the church, so expect farm smells and church bells, but this was not an issue for us.

A gasthof with a very spacious and comfortable room in a very quiet setting, but with a good location. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so we didn't have the chance to enjoy it. However, the breakfast is excellent.

As the restaurant was closed there was no reception open and the keys were taken from a safe at the entrance.

Characterful local pub-hotel easily accessed from the motorway but far enough from it to feel like we were in the 'real' Germany. Not all staff spoke English but it didn't matter, they were all very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was packed but they found us a table - the food and beer were excellent. A great experience

A nice hotel not far from the autoroute. Its clean and comfortable and the staff are very helpful. We arrived early and were given a room straight away.we ate in the restaurant in the evening and enjoyed our meal. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.If you arrive early go to Cafe Paul, it's well worth a visit.

Nice Staff, great food and reasonable prices

Wifi was inconsistent and had to keep signing in as it was a Hotspot. Without a car the location can be a challenge. 15min walk uphill from the train. Fortunately we had small carryon type luggage with wheels and it wasn’t raining.

The restaurant from the property is amazing! I do recommend eating there and in fact I am planning to stop for dinner during my next trip. Everything we had for dinner was very tasty. Compliments to the chef!

We did not get adjacent room, even if I asked for this. In fact the rooms were at the exact opposite ends of the corridor. Very inconvenient for a family with kids.

We arrived a bit late, when the reception was closed, but the hotel left a key in a locker and sent a message with a code. So there was no problem to get in. The room was spacious, what positively surprised us. The mattress had the softness, exactly the one we like. What we liked especially is a double door. Means no sounds came from the hallway. Breakfast was good, nothing special, but sufficient to feel replete. The hotel is located aside from the roads, therefore the place is quiet.

Nothing, except maybe noisy kids a floor above.

The breakfast was nice and the staff was very kind. We were there during "ruhe tag" (Monday) so the restaurant wasn't working and there were only sounds of a village :-) The location is great if you have a car. The Chiemsee is very close.

We didn't know that Mo-Tue are so called "ruhe tag" so we need to do the self check-in and the restaurant is not open. We also helped other guests who didn't receive any message with a code for self check-in and furthermore, we had troubles to open the box. Nevertheless, the staff on the phone was helpful.

The hotel staff is really nice and helpful, we had a good stay. Dinner and breakfast were great. The room entryway is spacious, I loved it!

There's no elevator, so be sure you can carry heavy luggage upstairs by yourself. Also, make a double confirmation after paying by credit card.

Breakfast could have been a little more, but was good and enough. I was missing hardboiled eggs or just some scrambled eggs and bacon. But they did make eggs upon request.

Better and more parking. The parking lot has no barriers - so some people parked really bad.
