Clean, bright, modern. Very close to bus terminal, train station and supermarkets - less than 200m. Nearby public parking - c100m (some spaces pre bookable). Easy walkable access to multiple choice eateries. Versailles Chateau -c15 min walk. Regular RER train service to central Paris which takes around 20 mins and goes to Champs de Mars station - right next to the Eiffel Tower. Easy access to A13 motorway to get in and out of Versailles by car. Overall, a great place to stay to combine a visit to Versailles and Paris. Sensibly priced offering very good value.

Not much - but for the non French, remember to use electric shutters for a better nights sleep! A little noisy until later in the evening as by the bus terminal and train station, but that’s the trade off for an excellent location. Another comfy chair would have been good and also a little more crockery and utensils.

Extremely convenient for the Palace of Versailles- 15 minutes walk. Also it’s location next to the station enabled easy access into central Paris.

Nothing specific, but it is useful to understand that it also provides assisted living apartments for older people. This did not create any issues for my stay, but on checking in I was concerned that I was in the right place or at the right reception desk. I do think the property would benefit with separate reception/check-in for guests.

Love/Hate...with the location...love that it was so close to the train and bus station, very nice to have such a short walk home after getting off the train...but hated the noise during the day. That being said, it did quite down around 10pm in the evening until 6am. The building itself was very quiet and the metal roller shades also helped block out outside noise. In all fairness , I am a very light sleeper and I managed to sleep very well.

Nothing comes to mind...the front desk staff were very professional and kind in each interaction. This is some kind of facility for the elderly, everyone seemed sweet. It is very modern and very clean and I would not only stay there again, but I would recomend it as opposed to actually staying in Paris. Quaint town, very walkable and great to be able to make some of our own meals as opposed to having to go out every time.

This is our 3rd stay at a Domity's Residence across France, so we know what to expect in terms of comfort, cleanliness, convenience ( all excellent as usual) We had a nice warm welcome at reception. The residence is situated right next door to the train and bus station and a 10 walk to town and 20 mins to the palace. Excellent for visiting other places and getting around. So it IS a busy area which made for some noise. Mostly that’s ok as we were out sightseeing like most people who come to Versailles. However there was quite a lot of noise through the night. Not sure what was happening as it sounded like furniture being moved in the apartment above us and then there were people in our corridor talking and coming in and out? In fairness, maybe some of the people who live there require 24 care and that might have been the reason? But that’s the first time we have had any noise or sleep disruption at a Domitys.

If you’re planning to stay more than a couple of nights, you would need to look carefully at the self catering aspect. We ate out as we were only there 2 nights but we had no and I mean NO cooking utensils. We had one small saucepan and a frying pan, 1 small tea towel and a bottle of washing up liquid. Parking There is no free parking at Domitys. We found a pay and display about a 5 minute walk and that cost is €33 for about 36 hours. ( Parking Sceaux)

The accommodatiom was perfect in every way, very clean, spacious, and bed was so comfortable with living room & kitchen, equipped with microwave, fridge, cooker plus a coffee machine too. Location just a few meters on the left hand side of Versailles Chantiers station. The chateux is less than 10 minutes walk. I really cannot fault Domitys, our only regret is not staying longer, but we will definitely come back & I definitely highly recommend Domitys to amyone. Thank you Domitys Liza & Nihal

Everything would have been perfect had we booked the tickets to the palace in advance. It was all sold out when we got there so we recommend advance booking, but the garden was amazing.

We had a lovely stay at Le Solstice, the studio room was so comfortable and exceptionally clean, a complete apartment with an additional pull out sofa-bed, fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedroom and bathroom, we had plenty of space and the building was very quiet. The staff at the front desk were so helpful and answered all our questions immediately. I wasn't sure what to expect arriving at a Senior home, but the residents were very friendly, polite and very lucky to live there! Le Solstice is right beside the train station - please do not forget a separate train ticket is required for Versaille (only E4.15 from Paris, our Navigo Easy pass did not work that far out, which resulted in a nice E35 fine each for my forgetfulness, please learn from our mistake!). The residence is a 15 minute walk to the Versaille Palais de Congres or 20 mins walk to Versaille Palace and Gardens, a perfect location in my opinion. There were plenty of lovely food options nearby for lunch and dinner. The train into Paris took about 40 mins and was very easy to navigate. Overall, a lovely place to stay, we would highly recommend.

There is nothing to fault - all was great.

Large rooms, great bathroom with a non slip shower(a first) , great bed ,close to station and Versailles Palace. 2 small supermarkets nearby and undercover free parking. Staff gave us some milk and butter our last morning as our supplies had run out.This is a block of serviced apartments with meals provided mainly for the aged so it was sort of a trial run..ha ha!

Poorly equipped kitchen..no electric jug , no coffee maker , 1 small saucepan , no sharp knife nor potato peeler, no breadboard nor paper towel and no hair dryer. Staff tried to help and gave us a drier, coffee pot and large cooking pot. We think the place is pretty new and hasn't had many occupants sooner is unaware of missing things.

Good location - just a few steps from the railway and bus station. Equipped with kitchen facilities, clean, very nice and hospitable staff. I wasn’t offered breakfast, but there was a good grocery store within 5 minute walk. The palace was only 10-15 minute walk but there bus service is available.

It’s not a dislike but a traveler should keep in mind that this is a seniors residence and the silence is appreciated.

- Pleasant room temperature, I set it up to 23.5°C, worked perfectly. Good flow of hot water in shower. - Quiet neighbors and the sound of the train station did not bother me. - Comfy bed with plenty of pillows, warm blanket - Modern and cozy interior design - Kitchenette was enough for tea/coffee and small cooking - No problem to get a printed invoice for business travel At first I was on guard because of the Booking reviews about the front desk, but it was all good in my case. The ladies were very polite, attentive and could speak English. This hotel is indeed combined with a senior house, but this does not bother at all.

- Breakfast is a typical continental breakfast of croissant, coffee, orange juice, bread, butter, yogurt and apple. One could wish a bit more variety, e.g. eggs or porridge. But overall it was fine.

Very spacious studio with large bathroom so room to spread out, very clean, great proximity to Versailles-Chantiers station to catch the shuttle bus to the Olympic equestrian events, swimming pool was great, wonderful local boulangerie/patisserie

No air-conditioning during the heat of a Versailles summer was a drawback. We had to rely on opening the windows however air-conditioning would have made our stay more pleasant.
