Everything was great. They don't have free breakfast anymore due to the people they used to get breakfast from said that they had to get a minimum of 20 boxes of meals every day and they just can't afford it. But they do have free coffee and a microwave and toaster for if you would like to warm anything up. The lobby was so cozy and inviting. I didn't see the cat but apparently he was outside running around. Overall, the room was very good. No bugs or weird stains at all.

Honestly, there wasn't anything that I didn't like. The dog that was in the room beside us barked a little much but it quit after a while.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays and room was clean. I was impressed with the laminated faux wood floors- no nasty carpet like so many other hotels.

I wasn’t prepared for the drive to Mountain City. The curvy roads and the small town took me by surprise. Once I calmed down the hotel became very comforting.

I stayed here while visiting my son at App State. Granted it was a 20-30min drive, but the room was much more reasonably priced than anything closer to campus. The room was bare bones, but it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly.

There was no breakfast. There was coffee in the morning, but the condiments were not great - there were packets of dry creamer and sugar or sweet and low only.

Rooms were up to date, very clean, smelled clean, very comfortable bed, we slept extremely well. Good location and fairly quiet. Very friendly staff.

Bathroom could use a little work on it, just a bulb hanging from ceiling, sink counter top was busted, but it was extremely clean so that’s really all that matters.

Ease of check in and out. Quiet. Peaceful. No problems with going in and out to walk my dog. Lots of hot water.

Ice machine not working. Curtains need updated, replaced. Breakfast advertised but was not available. Coffee was supposedly available but no information regarding.

We felt comfortable from the get go. The location was off the road a good bit surrounded by pasture and nature. Also, it is close to town by just far enough away to make it extra special.

no breakfast offered and not a lot of coffee kept at bar hotel needs to be upgraded and refreshed, there is alot of traffic and travelers through this area and it could be a very nice place to stay
