Very nice. Small but good breakfast selection.

The hotel has two buildings and some of the rooms are in the newer building while the amenities like the restaurant are in the old facility. So for breakfast you would have to get out of the building and walk to the other one.

I was not expecting for breakfast to be served like in restaurant :) And, actually, I was not expecting the whole hotel to be so authentic and high class!

The chair in the room was a bit old and it felt that the back of the seat might have already been a bit weak and could break if you lean on it a bit more. But it is pretty much the thing to be considered when staying in such historical place :)

Perfect location for access to the business I was visiting, and for the excellent nearby naval museum. Characterful building. Very peaceful & quiet. Exceptionally good staff, welcoming and very helpful. Tasty breakfast and evening meal.

Considering the price, limited facilities and a fixed evening menu, not sure if my vegetarian wife would have been catered for.

The soy/oat milk I had requested on booking and been assured would be available was not. The only tea was Earl Grey which not everyone likes - including me! English Breakfast Tea would be a better choice. The bedroom was very grey with dingy lighting some pops of colour and a nice table lamp would make a big difference!

The room and staff was amazing,especially at the reception.

The breakfast was a bit of a let down. There wasn't many options to choose from. You had to order warm food such as scrambled eggs,bacon.... by waiter.It took some time and wasn't comfortable at all.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. A lovely peaceful atmosphere I'm an historic building.The breakfast was very good and the dinner was delicious.We slept in a separate annexe where most of the guest rooms are but we were happy with this arrangement

Its just so unique in room, breakfast, clean, Idyllic, friendly. And wonderful free bathroom luxury soap.

All though all staff were pleasant and accommodating, one of the staff members, I believe her name was Maria was very helpful and professional.
